  1. Im looking for a standard r33 series 2 bonnet in either black or watever colour, as long as it is in good condition. What wreckers will be selling these? also is there anyone on this forum with one in vic that will like to trade with my CF bonnet? Thanks. Phill

    ok i may have sounded like a hero saying that. But come on, alot of people do piss you off when constantly they give you a "dose" next to your window for ages. Thats mainly the vl turbo drivers.

  11. my car was also doing this, not going good, missing, cutting out, having a massive flat spot over 4,000rpm. My mate at MSC PERFORMANCE found the best way to overcome this. My boost is set at 11psi or so. Afr's are around 11. And not revvs out to 7,000rpm no probs. Plugs are regapped aswell. As a result a total of 209.5rwkw with standard turbo and ecu was achieved. If you are around the melb/northern area. Pop into the workshop and see what he can do for you.

    i cop this ALOT from other skyline drivers with their riced up and stocker gtst's.. Just because mine looks like a stocker its self, doesnt mean they haveto prove a point to say "i beat lthlrb"... Peasents dont know whats going on when i scream past them frying 2nd . That shuts them up good and propper. Also cop alot of death stares from other ladies driving next to me.. OK im 17 OK im on my ls OK my mums in the car with me.. BUT IM NOT A SPOILT BRAT WITH EVERYTHING I WANT.... Its called.. Earning it.

  15. update on power: got my car dynoed and boost set propperly and stuff. 209.5rwkw on 11psi the tuner and i are confident it will run into the 12s... But id be happy with a flat 13 with me driving it
  16. well the dyno tuner is going to run through the afr's. Also re gap the plugs. Also get the right boost and check for pinging/knocking. Also advance timing to a safe but good level. Not much really you can do to a standard ecu. I just want it to last till nov/dec when i get my power fc
  17. it wasnt remapped. It was going fine for a while and i ran a 13.1 second pass at calder in full street trim. But after that it just died out. I think its retarding and getting very rich. Fuel economy is out the window. Engine isnt pinging or knocking though. Fuel delivery is fine. 500hp tomei pump is doing well. The car is going in tomorow to get tuned. Is there any way to remap the standard ecu's ?
  18. A few months ago i got my car tuned to 11 psi and got 205rwkw with an af/r of ~11. Now on a little more boost the car doesnt go at all like it has fuel cut out and the engine just jerks when it cuts out. I had my timing advanced and i have been told the standard ecu resets itsself when it exceeds 205rwkw. I am assuming my timing has gone back to zero. Under load on high boost it misses alot. Hits full boost approx 13 - 14psi at 3 - 4,000 rpm and after that it feels like nothing. just slow revving to 7,000 rpm. If anyone can shed some light on this, it will be greatly appreciated.   19. i was kinda thinking.. i did a 13.1 @ 105 mph (thats somethign like 160 or so kz) how could a pissy 5cyl fwd focus be slower on et by faster on km/h ? motor mag is gay.
  20. the bov has a rubber cap over it. but the nipple where the hose is connected doesnt have anything in it to block it propper. could that be the reason why?
  21. i work for ford, and have had a xr5 in and been in one when being driven, nothing compared to my r33 gtst with 205rwkw even on 7psi my skyline feels faster. These cars do hit high speeds, but no way are they 13 second cars... No way in hell. If the GT-P is a 14.0 second car or thereabouts and the typhoon is 13s or so, the xr5 is nowhere near as fast as either of these cars.

  23. Hey guys, my engine is hesitating and almost stalling (stalling at time) when off throttle. Like i put it in nuteral to slow down it just drops too low in the rev range. I have a catch can without a breather, would that be the cause? could it be a vacuum leak somewhere in the plenum and the hoses on the plenum?
