Fs: 1996 Skyline R33 Gtr V-spec S2
QIK_GTR replied to QIK_GTR's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I honestly can't work out why this isn't generating more interest, its got some very good quality gear on it, its not super-modified and hasn't had a hard life as you would expect most modified ones to have had, its very clean, the whole driveline has just been serviced in every way, and its not riced up like alot of GTRs. Its not through a lack of conditioon that its not selling, I have only had one person actually view it, and he offered me less than $25k timewaster, so I can only wonder why people don't seem to be all that keen on GTRs right now. I'd like this gone by the end of the month as I need the garage space for other things and am no longer even using this car, its done about 20klms in the last 3 weeks, so am open to all reasonable offers, not stupid ones like the one mentioned above! -
I'm wanting to buy a set of 4 R33 GTR rims and decent treaded tyres for around $1k or less, prefer QLD, but will consider others if the price is right.

Thanks, its a great car, just seems GTR's are a little slow on the sell at the moment, dunno why, a couple of enquiries, no takers yet. If someone is keen on the car minus the Volks, I'd take $26k if you provide your own stockies or whatever wheels, and even less again if there is some other stuff you don't want on the car......just trying out a few other ways to see if anyone is keen. -
I'd just like to ask people to read the ad carefully, I'm only thinking about doing this if I can do a trade with some for some much cheaper 18/19s + $2k my way, give or take a $100 or so (depending what you got, or even some nice 17s or stockies + more $$$), or a straight sale for my rims(no tyres) for about $3k so I can buy some chepaer 19s and still use my tyres.....otherwise its not worth my while as I'm looking to get some cash back on these awesome, fat, jap racing 19s and therefore I can reduce the sale price of my car. Please don't offer me $2000 for my rims, or a swap for your 18in Volks plus $500....thanks, but its not what I'm after, I'd rather just keep my Volks and persist with my sale as is and wait for someone who realises that these wheels are fantastic on a GTR and worth the extra $$$$.

Thanks The car is now fitted with super bright, white headlight bulbs and parker bulbs, which look way better then the brownish stock ones! -
Item:Rays Engineering Volk Racing CE28N 19x10.5 +22 GTR fitment in Bronze Age: 9 months Condition: Used - 3 are immaculate, 1 has a very small(2-3cm) gutter mark, but is very unoticable on these dark rims Price: $3100 slightly negotiable for rims only as a straight sale(thats a saving of $1100 off new ones) - or will consider swapping the CE28N's with Federal 265/35/19(85% tread) tyres for cheaper 18s/19s with tyres + cash adjustment my way(approx $4000 for mine, yours worth around $2000 or less preferably and the extra cash to me depending entirely on what you have to offer) To Fit: (What car) GTR R33 - R34 Location: Brisbane Contact: PM or leave a comment in this thread Comments: I'm trying to sell my R33 GTR and feel the wheels are keeping my price too high as they are worth quite a lot and not many people realise the value of these wheels @ $1050/rim each + freight + tyres so they don't see the value in the car as a whole currently, especially if they want a basic 33 GTR and Volks don't mean much to them. I feel if I can get a cheaper set of 19s or swap these for something then I can happily reduce the price of the car by quite a bit and get more interest and see it sold. I'm not 100% on doing this just yet, but I'll see what offers I get. These wheels look unbelievable on any R33 or R34 GTR, wide and with a great offset, the best around!!! I have plenty of photos of these on other GTR's if someone wants to see what they look like on other colours etc.

I'm not sure, it seems people are afraid to buy stuff at the moment, holding onto their monies. This car is a great base for some serious mods already having the computer and a decent full 3.5in s/s exhaust etc, or is stock enough to use every day but still have a lot of fun in aswell......price is negotiable too!!! Yeah, I'd rather sell it for cash, or swap for something of a lesser value, around $20k or less + cash adjustment, just a decent, normal sort of economical daily car as I've bought a new project car and no longer want $30k+ tied up in this, but maybe send me a few more details omn your car and $$$'s what your thinking, but I would prefer a straight sale. -

drop to $33,500.....will also consider keeping the Volks if an interested party can supply their own stock rims or 18s/19s of choice if they are keen on the car at a lesser price, as they are whats keeping the value a little higher, just a thought. -

Make: Nissan Model: Skyline R33 GTR V-Spec S2 Milage: 85000klms Transmission: 5spd Manual Colour: Midnight Purple Location: Brisbane Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Yes Currently registered? Yes, until end of October Price: $35k ono Contact: PM or 0402 842 548 Comments / Modifications: see below Images: see below Midnight Purple in colour Carbon front lip and rear wing blade(standard items also come with the car) Series 3 projector headlights Genuine Nissan clear front bar indicators Crystal clear side indicators Nismo bonnet lip Nismo 400R rear bar pods to finish the lines of the factory side skirts Ganador wing mirrors Rays Engineering Volk Racing CE28N lightweight 19x10.5's in Bronze with 265 Federal tyres with heaps of tread left worth close to $6k, and it has Coilovers all round, Brembo brakes front and rear Engine has done 85000klms and is pretty much stock apart from HKS airfilters and a 3.5in Stainless exhaust from the front pipes back, new stainless cat and HKS muffler, the standard computer died with the last owner so it has a Haltech E11 V2 with the latest software uploaded as of 2 months ago and was also freshly tuned on 1 bar and made 230RWKW and has run 12.7 @ 108mph, so a great base for some serious mods, or a perfect daily driver or weekend fun car. I have spend quite a few thousand $$$$'s recently as the car has had its major service done 1500klms ago with all gearbox, engine, diff oils changed, all fluids flushed and changed, new timing belt and all other belts done, new plugs etc all done at 83500klms, also had a new Jim Berry Carbonics button clutch done at the same time aswell as reconditioned clutch master and slave cylinders.....so this car needs nothing done mechanically for quite a while. I have had all intercooler and intake pipes powdercoated black for a cleaner look over the dirty silver, and had the airflow meters removed for better airflow, it also has a Carbon plug cover plus an R34 GTR centre badge and Carbon timing cover and the whole bay looks very neat and tidy all blackened out as opposed to the usual shiny look(the pic still shows the airflow meters and purple air intake pipes) The interior is pretty much stock, no fancy guages or electronic gizmos, just a neat clutter free dash with an Apexi EL2 Boost guage and HKS turbo timer. Its has custom charcoal floor mats, a Trust GREX polished gearknob with H pattern for legalities and a Nismo 300km/h dash cluster and the interior overall is very clean and in great condition. Will have interior photo's up this weekend. I had an Alpine headunit, Alpine Type R splits and Alpine Type R 2 ways fitted to the car and also a Mongoose alarm/immobiliser/central locking fitted aswell. Now wears BEWARE plates, but they are not included in the sale. I'm pretty sure thats it, any questions feel free to ask, have plenty more photos if needed, and the asking price is $35k ono.

Item: Passenger side Wiper arm/blade assembly Age: whatever Condition: pretty decent Price: ? To Fit: R33 GTR, or any R33 I guess Location: Brisbane, but will pay postage Contact: PM or 0402 842 548 Comments: Someone thought it would be funny to not only raise it up and leave it up, but bend it in half aswell....what the f*ck goes through some peoples minds????? So I need a full arm to suit my R33 GTR if someone has one or is wrecking a 33???? Thanks
-
thats something thats almost unavoidable....in all reality it'll happen eventually even if you use a tyre brace and do it by hand....I wouldn't be overly concerned about it and I'd think the tyre shop will say the same thing, its near impossible to stop that happening!
-
heres one I could find don't like this car at all(!!!), but it could be done quite tastefully if you wanted to
-
a mate had them on his R34, same colour as yours and they looked great, I think you've made a great choice, very safe, but it will look good!
