  1. 480cc is when it's a 3.5bar. Stock fuel pressure is 3 bar, they're in the 450cc range. Also if you're tuning on an ancient GameboyFC ECU just adjust the dead time till you hit stoich with the idle fuel cells at 1.00. Don't over think it.
  2. Fan mounting solution, no more straps through core shit. And the OEM condenser/overheat fan is too thick and doesn't flow much air so was removed yonks ago. Mock up fan used, a Davies Craig 12" in the way. Catch can time, needed the cnuto to be big. What PL Fab came up with was about 5.2L, it will be drained back to the sump with a ball valve too. Street duties no drain, track work will drain. New washer bottle will also be tucked on the side where the OEM coolant bottle was. Fuark I feel poor looking at this.
  3. Borrow a CAS first before you fry more money
  4. R35 coils, can run 0.8mm gap and pretty low dwell time too. My previous motor I put 2bar of boost through it, 0.8mm gap (straight out of the box) on R35 coils.. no misfire
  5. LOL... well when the box does go BANG, I might look at either a DCT or ZF. I prefer the ZF approach as it seems more nicer to drive, and a bit more accessible (replaceable each time a box grenades). @KinkstaahI'm probably heading down the same path, if the OEM bush hasn't been replaced (yet) it will end up being some form of new arm. Rear end already has Hardrace camber arms, traction arms and tie rod arms/ends (HICAS deleted). Front to rear all ball joints have been replaced too. Front wise, all I need to do now is replace the front lower control arm bushes and install an adjustable upper control arm and it should be sweet!
  6. Well to be fair, mine has fractures where the factory welds are so getting even more power it's probably wise to strengthen it 🤓
  7. Ended up getting PL Fabrications to modify the 350GT pedal as I wasn't too happy with the pedal position from my quick and dirty vice and mallet approach. Closer to OEM positioning now 😁 Subframe weld in plates, bushes, diff bushes and LCA bushes came today too. Whole subframe coming out soon for a big refresh and bracing. No traction excuses here! Close to 500kW and hooking up is my plan 🚤
  8. man talking in pounds and miles really does my head in, we live in Australia bro.
  9. wallah you want a Nistune? pull out your ECU and we'll get it done through my trade account
  10. Just confirms how mentally retarded I am throwing more money at it 😐
  11. As in the Plazma clamps? Nah normal silicone joiners and hose clamps are fine for me. Only going to run about 2 to 2.2bar of boost. The TB, had no choice because of the DBW adaptor.
  12. New hot pipe too, because why not. Also the existing one didn't fit too well as it was made to suit a HDi intercooler which sat a bit more forward when compared to the Plazmaman Pro core. We haven't discussed cost yet 😅
  13. You could run a spare output out to the RHS fuse/relay box and trigger the fan relay there. On ECR33 that fan is only triggered by the radiator temp switch, aka the overheat fan. I've just wired a diode between the AC relay and fan relay, so when the AC is on the fan also turns on for additional cooling. Tempted to repin the TPS wiring (since I'm running DBW) and set it so that fan is ECU controlled with my parameters.
  14. Or wire it to an ECU output and trigger it when it hits a particular temp. A bit more elegant than flicking a switch
  15. Yep, all junk A few Silvias I tuned had overheating issues, popped the OEM fan back on and guess what? Went away!
  16. Sexual turbo setup for a basic build, great stuff Tao!
  17. Do yourself a favour and don't get turbo with a HKS, Trust, or Tomei badge on them. They're all shit.
  18. Fab Brief: must use existing hole, don't want a new hole through the washer bottle like all the other R33 GTS-ts out there. Also minimum pie cuts where possible (I reckon they're ugly). Result: Pretty damn happy with this 😁
  19. Interesting, with my PWR core I could do 10 hot laps at Wakefield at the water temp wouldn't move (mind you I was runing a 25 row oil cooler). With a Chyna eBay one, 5 hot laps and water would go over 100 - however different use case as the car wasn't idling in traffic.
  20. But it's aids, I don't want aids.
  21. Let's be honest, if we had 2JZ in these shit boxes from factory we wouldn't be burning so much cash to make modest power (400~500kW at the wheels).
  22. Jono, why not run an EWP and PWM Get exactly the cooling you require. Then you could even just delete the thermostat!
