Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Run an OPR and an oil filter and they will last, at least they won't shit out turbine wheels if you accidentally over speed them -
So confused about Turbos. Garrett, precision, BW.

I really hate talking in HP, please kW, this is an Australia forum and in Australia we use the metric system like most of the world. If we want to talk in HP sure, please fk off to the US of A.. -

Better post up skids video of boganmobile. -
Did someone say reno? Semi gut, most of the wall tiles still remain. Relocated drains, waste and water. Added additional GPOs for washer/dryer stack and broom/Dyson cabinet next to it.

Very true, this is what happened when I blew my motor and somehow respraying the car was part of fixing the motor. Or at the very least more renovation photos.. which I've already started doing so on a brand new house that we bought in November last year. Typical Bankstown special duplex build, put in 3x bathrooms, and decide to squash the laundry into the butler's pantry so you can sell the place for more. This is when form > function doesn't work, clearly the design, build of this house was by people who have their wives OR mums do their laundry and cook/clean for them. Anyhow, we're turning the brand new, unshowered in bathroom into a proper laundry with toilet and leaving the pantry so it can be a pantry and not smell like a Laundromat.

PPG Sequential
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to mrpav's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
That's easy with DBW and torque management. -

SAU NSW - Dyno Day @ JEM - Saturday 22nd May
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to sammi_d's topic in Events
Mainline will read lower, and if that weather station is connected, even lower again (if the dyno cell is cold). You could be silly and cover it LOL. -

You missed the throw the DBW in the bin part too. -

sounds like an orchestrated post -
Will be soon, usual checks. If this one is also cracked I will have a sads. See how I go, hopefully my old crank isn't cactus, if it is I'll message you 😊 And don't worry, I'll send the next motor too. Test and learn, worked out I need more crank vents and even smaller restrictors with an even larger sump. Next motor will last, I'm confident it will.

Thank you 😁 and yes, it's from a MB lol.. don't hate. At least it won't blow oil pumps and smash boxes lolol.. Good news, I've found another block too. Hopefully back on the road soon.

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0

That's how the European cars do it, it's not a pedal for the throttle, it's a pedal to request for torque. -
Cam gears and poncams next??
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Matty George's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
That's correct, longer duration will move the torque/power to the RHS, however will also introduce more torque/power. This is where the intake cam gear comes into play, advancing that intake as much as possible (within reason) will pull that power curve back and the net result is nearly similar low RPM driveability but now with a wide power band A bit of a balancing act. Tomei cams & Tomei valve springs should not exist lol -

Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Matty George's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Don't get Tomei cams if you're wanting new cams, get some decent Kelford cams, an intake cam gear (advance its mum) and install new valve springs (avoid Tomei junk), retainers and valve stem seals. -
I know, and all I did for years was say NEO headstuds dis dat 400kW... hypocrite I am 😂 New goal, reliable 500kW.

Someone tagged me in this, sad reacts only 😅 When it worked, then it didn't, then I all thought was it would have needed a simple fix, then I find the head is cactus then somehow the car gets a makeover 😅. Then a few weeks later I find the block is cracked.
