  1. LOL... well thank fk I didn't go ahead with that!
  2. And this is why you don't want to go shimless - I was going to do this on a bare NEO head for sale, but the thought of it put me off. FWIW, I've found another NEO motor
  3. I vote for Hypergear Turbos, have used 3 of them myself. Tao @hypergear is quite active on these forums. I would suggest getting the ball bearing option, day & night difference from the journal bearing.
  4. Classic PowerFC. If you know what you're doing, you can stop that happening with modern ECUs, just not with a PowerFC lol
  5. Don't say this, you'll offend many people on this forum lol. Haltech is great for what it is, and the software UI is well thought out. It makes tuning easier (well for me) and it means less time stuffing about. Their base maps are also relatively good, meaning even less tuning time is needed for those starting from scratch.
  6. You can tune a Haltech, you can tune a Link. You can tune a Link, you can tune a Haltech. Same same.
  7. New (round 2) cabinets in, 1st lot had to be removed because didn't work.
  8. Well I can dare say the gains with the R33 are much better than real estate or crypto or ASX!
  9. Yeah, house was done October 2020, we bought the shit box in Nov 2020 auction. Had too many sex spec shit, which we changed. Then the 3rd bathroom, which would never be used we are converting into a proper laundry/powder room. Having your washer/dryer in your pantry is not very user friendly. Guys who designed the place probably still live at home with their parents. 400kW was enough to give me cold sweats at the track, I think 500kW with a sex spec power band is what I'm after. I'm sure with enough seat time you'll be fine, I doubt youll wrap it. Think about it, your GT-R would be just as lethal. I remember the days I thought 300kW RWD was mental, but with properly thought out geometry you find 400kW hooks up fine. 500kW, well that should be interesting 😂
  10. Long story, but had to remove the cabinets & take down the wall again. Has been re-tiled, and awaiting new cabinets Blooding builds, they never go to plan! Car, well block no. 2 is at the machinist - seems to be a bit of backlog. Last time block no.1 sat there for nearly a month waiting in line too. Did plan to have response monster running by start of June, but timing wise it's a bit tight. Head has been tickled with 1mm oversized exhaust valves, intake side remains OEM. Still keen to do 500kW at the rear tread, with a 4k RPM power band. Should make the car fun, until the box has a meltdown and the car goes back on jack stands for another year or two.
  11. Pending pickup Looks like another fuark boi RB swapped S-Chassis will be cruising the streets soon.
  12. Hey SAU, I have my old ASR Street Comp 6.5L AWD to RWD baffled sump for sale. No dents, just a bit of paint missing where the front ARB (sway bar) would touch when the car was under heavy cornering. Perfect for those putting RB26 motors into their Silvias and not wanting to chop up the front sump/diff (as they're worth decent coin these days). Sump has not been modified, or anything. I would recommend fitting 2x 10AN male fittings to it as well so you can vent your crank & also drain your catch can back into it. Please note: this will only fit AWD motors (RB26, RB25 motors from GTS-4 or Stagea). Will not fit RWD motors as the pick up is in the wrong location. Comes with: Modified pickup to suit AWD -> RWD Bolts for pickup Sump plug Photos up soon, just going to give it a clean with degreaser first. Location: Cabramatta, NSW 2166 Price: $500
  13. Hakkan at Performance Exhaust in Northmead, NSW has bought all the tooling from the old SMB older/shop. He now reproduces them. Those mufflers can shut up a rotary pretty well. I run one on the shit box and I can dare say it's the most quiet R33 with proper exhaust on (excluding 3.5" Jasma compliant bullshit exhausts with 2.5" restrictor in them).
  14. can always put back in and use the premium stuff like Dynamat and sell it to someone saying you wanted to install premium sound deadening, better than the OEM stuff.
  15. More reason why you should keep your car https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1991-nissan-silvia-s13-manual/SSE-AD-7226796
  16. If you need pricing/help with sourcing Kelford cams, I should be able to assist with pretty competitive pricing
  17. LOL.. that's one hook up I don't have, others I'm lacking are Samsonas, DCT/ZF conversions.
  18. Well your front hubs are sorted, now to find you some rear ones.. I think R33 GTS-t stuff sounds good, so if I come across anything I'll tell you. DBA stuff, I heard you know some dickhead that gets stuff pretty cheap too - so you're sorted there as well LOL.
  19. Wife, told me to respray it and keep it. She said "as soon as you sell it, you'll end up buying another shitbox to throw countless money at". Can't say she's wrong about that lol.
  20. well I heard you need to replace your front wheel bearings, so might as well get these: https://www.efisolutions.com.au/wheel-bearing-hub-front-s14-s15 Heard you get good prices from that site too 😂
