  1. Sinco make these pretty sexual manifolds (this is mine below). As you can see each pulse is separate to the seat of the gate, other so called split pulse manifolds end up merging the pulses together which in theory wouldn't perform as well as this. I run a 50mm gate and it controls boost very well, I can go from 0.5 bar to 2 bar using a 4 port solenoid.
  2. Hello I am no dead, but my car is lol... Whatever you do, go get a twin scroll housing, and a proper twin scroll manifold. The GTX3576 Gen 2 with the 1.01 divided rear comes on full noise by about 4500rpm (that's 2 bar of boost) and makes well over 1 bar of boost by 4000rpm (confirmed once I put on the new FMIC as the old one was leaking). That graph you've posted looks laggy.
  3. Many R33 owners getting a hard on right now
  4. Not too sure yet @niZmO_Man been so busy de-cluttering the house getting it ready to get it on the market. Just picked up stock wheels off my mate and dug out my stock R33 seat. Heading to out later to swap wheels and seat so the car isn't worth anything, since it's not in a very secure place.
  5. Link in terms of capabilities has more, there's already native keypad canbus integration, where this is only available on the top tier Haltech Nexus R5. Apparently it's coming to the Elite series - however who knows when? Elite 2500 in terms of motorsport function is on par with the Link. Personally tuning wise, I prefer Haltech as the GUI is much sexier and well thought out. Link is much harder to navigate and feels like you're looking though encyclopaedia Britanica 97 edition first CD release lol. If you're not tuning the car yourself, best to ask your tuner what they prefer out of the two, both do the same thing well, both are as powerful and support DBW, strain gauge input, traction, rolling AL, nitrous control, flex, etc.. however Link wins for the additional canbus keypad support.
  6. As much as I love Adaptronic and used to install/tune them for the price of a Haltech Platinum Pro (used) you'll be silly not to use that instead. I find Eugene (the software) is buggy and isn't as polished, I preferred the older WARI software on the Select series much more as it was stable and didn't insert random values during the read/write. Anyhow, if you're not going to mod your NEO much, just get a Nistune like said above. I personally hate Nistune on R34 Neos because they're a pain in the ass to tune. They're amazing on SR20DETs, amazing on R32/R33, just absolutely shit house and aids as fuark on R34 NEOs.
  7. No LOL ... When we wanted to buy a place, ANZ couldn't get our loan sorted - in fact they took 129 days from application through to settlement to re-finance our investment & current place. Ended up cracking the shits and told them to forget about the pre-approval for the next property and went with FirstMac and they approved us in 3 days! Now we are fully funded, ready to go - there's nothing to buy Spoke to a few people in Real Estate and they said I should list/sell our current property before the supply picks up, means there's a bit less choice for buyers and we'll get the money we want. I did however put in the contract we are able to rent it back for up to 3 months if required. Here's hoping the right property comes up this week, we go put a deposit on it and there's a big garage/hoist outback for the shit box lol.
  8. I don't think that's the issue, however it may have helped with either draining back more oil or just simply reducing crank case pressure and allowing oil to flow down through the galleries. There's a fundamental issue with my oil pickup (AWD motor with modded RWD ASR sump) where the pickup has been moved forward to suit the RWD sump. I suspect on full noise around big high speed corners (back straight before the last turn at Wakefield) all the oil us rushing back and because the pickup is right at the front it's being exposed to air thus tripping the engine protection. Oh wells, see what happens. This will be on the backburner for a while as we're getting ready to sell our house.
  9. didn't put a hole through the block and through the body work.. no IG likes or won't be all over Snapchat The reason I like of like the E90/2 M3 more is because it's rare(?) being a V8, it could potentially be a classic in say 10~15 years time.. who knows right?
  10. I like your thinking Did look at the V8 E92 M3 in Manual on Carsales this morning in bed, very affordable - I think might be a future classic too, of course I won't touch the SMG version because they're full of issues.
  11. Thanks for the offer Duncan, but got the car back to my mate's warehouse last night at about midnight. Had to wait for him to head back to Sydney unload his car, then head back out to get my shit box - luckily the trailer has a winch because if it didn't I would have probably dumped the car there. LOL... correct, Haltech told me many times to stop driving but I just rolled into the pits and restarted the car - watched for oil pressure and straight out to the track again. Probably did about a good 60+ laps.
  12. I'll download them sometime during the week and we'll find out. Haha I'm over it man, maybe new car time ?
  13. Is what it is lol.. Maybe the few times the Haltech went into engine protection was a sign I should not full send it around bends on noise.
  14. I did crack 196 km/h down the main straight but bitches out just as the barrier stopped. Could have possibly gone 200 km/h+
  15. Cheers @Duncan! Luckily just at the on ramp to Sydney out of Sutton Forest Maccas, safe-ish spot. Same tyres lol.. My mate did a 1m10s in it, I managed only 1m12s
  16. Motor seized heading back to Sydney. Had full oil pressure, no over heating. Was tapping a bit on the way home but just thought maybe lifters. Car did hit the engine protection a few times on the track though for low oil pressure around big bends. Now waiting for my mate to come back with a trailer on the side of the Hume Highway. Yay?
  17. What a day, been moving shit to the in-laws, cleaning the house, mowed lawn, planted a bunch of flowers. Then sorted out shit box for tomorrow, bleed brakes, installed new Intima pads (test compound), loaded up car with shit and ready! Rotors look a bit cooked, I managed to crumble the Intima Type-D v2.0. @iruvyouskyrine they're 57S
  18. Haha very true, let's work something out. I can supply all the DBW units, and pedals. I'll message TAARKS and see if I can get better than trade pricing for 5 of each.
  19. Heard it was neck to neck with Koval in your S15
  20. They spelt Samsonas wrong lol Congrats mate, when are the t shirts being mad for roll racing? ? Can't be outdone by @BakemonoRicer
  21. Yass I'll come in the Tiguan, run a 12s pass again then get it towed to VW for a blown water pump or cracked thermostat housing again ?
