  1. So is yours @Shoota_77!!! Just crazy, imagine one day this happens and someone just walks up and goes to me "I'll trade you my low km F80 LCI M3 for your unfinished R33" Oh boy haha
  2. Wow, R33s on Facebook groups are selling like hot cakes. A R33 S1, basic built motor, simple parts listed up for $18k and sold within an hour. Can't imagine what my dim sum special R33 S2 would sell for. I'm a bit motivated now and might considering cutting out the rust in the poorly rolled guards and doing a proper open door respray.
  3. Great you're enjoying your car, you've raced it more times this year than I have in a space of 5 years LOL
  4. Mark at MRC is great, he love his RBs Alex at Birrong automotive is also great, really loves his RBs (no particular order)
  5. It's available online here with some notes too: https://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&p=25972 Just note the Nistune cable and software does add up, so weigh out the pros/cons before starting. As much as I love Nistune with its flex capabilities, 3Dx boost tables, super rudimentary engine protection, the R34 NEO ECU is just so hard to work with, especially when you're running big boost and it just always kisses the last TP Load row.
  6. Once you get the Nistune software, make sure you carefully read the GT-t guide. It's a c u n t to get right, make sure you also read the latest version of the guide as the older one just advises you to set the boost cut to 255, map sensor voltage to max and to unplug it (this actually causes more issues than it solves, as you always hit the very last load row as boost comes on). As much as I love Nistune (also I can supply), I hate it in R34 GT-ts, it's just is a pain in the anus to tune and actually work.
  7. Just put in a Haltech or a Link, unlock power, economy and benefit of engine protection.
  8. I would avoid the OEM head bolts, as they're TTY and should not be re-used. Also they stretch pretty easy, so I would personally wait till you can get your hands on the ARP head studs/nuts.
  9. Just torque limit the mid range by either using boost strategies or just having very soft timing and pump it all in up top once max torque bleeds off.
  10. Looks good to me, ARP studs in, single twin scroll turbo, and send it.
  11. People are selling R33 GTS-t without running gear for $6500. What a time to be alive!
  12. Here's hoping one day our cars are like the R30s or even 240Z, just sexual. Thus I'm planning to clean up the R33 this year. Cut out all the rust, weld on very subtle flares to fix up my baseball bat rolled guards then open door respray the piece of shit. Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook has really driven up the price of the once VN priced R33.
  13. Driving any R31~34 does that already unfortunately.
  14. That is the spirit Then, Samsonas
  15. Of course they have their purpose, they aid in transient response, help with driveability (OEM BOV has a bleed port), reduce noise, etc. However, most turbo owners live for whoosh and sutututu noises. Disclosure: I'm planning to install a BOV to my car to reduce the likelihood of cooler pipes being blown off as I'm running 2bar of boost.
  16. Spool gears, just make sure it's the latest version. The older generation were anodised black (not sure why, because it strips straight away).
  17. Maximum dose can be had with a 6+6 GT style compressor wheel, the new 11 or 12 blade GTX style compressors don't dose very good. Going to a GTX Gen 2, my dose has dropped.
  18. That was 7+ years ago, rocking the wannabe dad body now.. also I'm married and no more music festivals to walk around shirtless & flex to the bishes
  19. In before anyone else, Samsonas.
  20. That's still very impressive! Great work also glad the Elig Pads are performing well! They do get s bit squealy when warm but it's that or non working EBC like brake pads lol
  21. If I was to build a motor again (hope I never do it again) then straight up Nitto oil pump with their collar. A poor man, pays twice. I've bought 2x sets of Spool gears, 1x brand new N1 oil pump. All that equals a new Nitto oil pump with change left over.
  22. How are you snapping input shafts on a R33 box with only 600hp? I would be more concerned there's another issue. @Yonz has a CD009 box in, however no idea if he's around here anymore.
