  1. I once tuned a S15 slammed on the ground (stock turbo, flex conversion, Nistune, R35 AFM)
  2. And that is not to use solder to join the power lead
  3. but you want max torque, best lap times.. you didn't want to build a Maccas Carpark Stance Box and Internets Dyno bragging car though
  4. I reckon you could safely get a SR20 (from a S14/15) doing 320~340kW with torque limited and have it last.
  5. Then nek minnit the troll, trolls us... that engine bay actually was photoshopped in and the motor is actually a built stroker with a NEO VVL head mated to a Samsonas.
  6. Looks great, but all that time/money/stress you could have put in a RB26 lol
  7. Lolololol... need it, the way we abuse the living daylights out of our cars. Not carpark heroes or garage queens
  8. Funny you're still not powered by a 4G63T haha
  9. 4th gear is fine, if he tried that stunt in 3rd the car would be going home on a tow truck haha
  10. Buy mine, 407kW at the real wheels with a real Aussie roller Mainline dyno. Should show up as 600hp+ on a US Mustang dyno. Wait till covid-19 is over and I'll even take you to a real Aussie pub. I'm asking $45k USD.
  11. 400 000km some good pliers, liquid paper and presto! 40 000 Miles
  12. Don't do it, buy a better car. You'll regret getting a R33 GTS-t, go buy a Toyota Supra.
  13. It's different when you're connected I know what happens BTS.
  14. That's awesome! Anyhow I don't have any dry sump experience, however you did mention using the filter stud for oil.. you could piss off the entire oil/water exchanger and use this http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/distribution-block-suit-nissan-p-2157.html
  15. Nissan, it's like a meth addiction but more expensive.
  16. And stock plenum, stock TB, stock cam record!
  17. This theory is flawed, especially if a moron (like myself) has put a R34 NEO motor into their R33 using the R33 loom & plenum Best way is to locate the front passenger side head drain, it's non-existent on a NEO.
  18. But it's my reason, no solder in high vibration areas. It might not fail on day to day cars, but it sure will fail on the track.
  19. No to solder in a high vibration environment.
  20. @Jasoncauser great putting a face to a name! Time for an Android phone ? I use Race Chrono purely for speed timing and live lap timing in car, gives you data so you're able to improve each lap. purely for bragging rights, clocked 192km/h down the main straight haha
  21. Sure did, however it did trip the engine protection a few times around big g corners on power (back straight of Wakefield). Oil pressure dropped under 2bar a few times around big corners on boost. As @Dale FZ1 pointed out big power, big boost = elevated crank case pressure. I did notice each time it cut the car would spew considerable amounts of oil into the catch. It seems the oil cannot be evacuated back into the sump due to the positive pressure. On main straights, no issues - this means having a head drain won't really solve my problem (also clocked 192km/h+ a few times, it moves). So yeah, motor out ? to weld on a sump fitting and connect it up to my catch can also gives me a chance to correct my shitty job at sealing the sump on the motor as it was weeping haha. Managed a slower time of 1m11.5s due to being rusty, different tyre setup and too much power LOL.
  22. Correct, but has been slightly modded on the hot side to suit the high mount. Cold side was cut and slightly shortened to fit the existing hole made by the previous owner for the bing bong HDi FMIC.
  23. @Robzilla32 what the actual fuark? Some people need to be put down, what a flog. Sorry it happened to you mate.
  24. Picked up this blob, actually lighter than the HDi dim sum bok choy cooler. I opted for stealth black with no logo so I can tell people in public it's a black eBay 76mm IC ? Also in the odd event where it's parked somewhere out of my view it doesn't attract any attention because the entire car looks like a clapped out shit box.
