  1. This week only, $240 for full set of Intima SR brake pads OR $250 for Elig Sports brake pads shipped with Invoice for Sumitomo caipers, i.e. Benshit DB1170 and DB1220. Happily knock off $30 if you bank transfer (still get invoice, ShitPal takes a massive percentage for payment - so try and avoid)
  2. I'm currently holding the R33 S2 Silver but Autosalon respray Purple with rust and Edward Lee's certification record at Wakefield
  3. @Sirsyorrz as soul crushing as this sounds, sell what you've bought to someone else Save your money, get a standalone ECU or at the very least get a SAFC II or NEO and a decent wideband, retard you base timing about 2~3 degrees, hammer more boost and tweak your AFRs till it targets about 11~11.5:1 If you start to run out of injector, add in a FPR and bump the base pressure to about 3.5bar. But, get a standalone (best option)
  4. Does your tuner's name start with an A? Haltech boost control is amazing, if your tuner can't get that right then yeah.
  5. You can make it. However, I suggest you avoid that MINES ECU junk. Yeah, more reason not to buy it
  6. As much as I love Nistune, and also being a dealer/tuner for Nistune - the R34 one is a massive pain in the arse to get right. The throttle enrichment, the simulated VE table and hitting the last row each time your boost sensor voltage taps out drives everyone nuts. Yeah you can "disable" the R34 MAP sensor, but then you'll notice the load scaling then goes out the window too. Just go full standalone.
  7. Watch out Maatouks, records will be broken. That R33 Sunroof record
  8. Yeah can check, but it's not an easy task! LOL you dirty white man
  9. QFM has gone bust it seems, if there are any QFM fans here's your time to score brake pads for like $10 https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/AuctionLots.aspx?cid=5&smode=0&_ga=2.135070065.1566686899.1574114891-615684107.1574114891 Okay for street, not for track (nearly put my car into a wall).
  10. Yeah last time the oil pump went funny, I dropped the sump with the motor strapped up in place, no metal shavings and inspected 1x rod bearing and looked fine. Crank was balanced, however I am starting to think it could the A/C idler too as there's a bit of play.
  11. I did mince up the first set of Spool oil pump gears then replaced it with a new N1 pump and new Spool v2 gears. Then also noticed at high RPM (stationary) the power steering belt wobbles quite a bit, which shows signs of harmonics. Sigh ? Should have just popped in the stock NEO motor with a fresh HG, ARP studs and called it a day not get carried away and build the motor.
  12. My own car? Nah been lazy. No incentive to get it on the dyno. House renos have taken priority lol. I'm thinking of taking the motor out and putting in a Nitto oil pump, checking the bearings (sounds a bit "knocky" lately), and fitting a better balancer but that's effort.
  13. Out of all the builds, all the hectic inshallah GT-R builds, this is still my favourite build
  14. Have you ever seen their patch looms? Comes out of their factory with solder blobs put together by someone's pet chimpanzee high off meth. Best part is when you need to make trigger changes with a "full standalone" ECU, you need to send it back to them lol. I feel sorry for the owner or tech guys that try and back up the product on Guild of EFI Facebook page because they just get slammed every single time by tuners all over the world. Funny enough, people still buy these ECUs new, because proven to make power ???
  15. I think he needs better brake pads, running Benshit pads on a car like that isn't going to be fun.
  16. Throw the Microleb ECU into the bin, get a proper one OR just run the stock one with a Nistune
  17. Owner forgot to tell me there's a stock BOV in the car lol.. boost bled down a bit up top, also some misfire issue with plugs. Will pop in new plugs, gapped down to 0.6mm and replaced the stock BOV. I see a 270kW quite possible in this setup, impressed! 253kW from only 1.3bar boost, baby numbers and early days! For new readers, GTX2860R Gen 2, Tomei 258 (Not 256) Poncams, usual bolt ons, and Dose Renovation Special tuning.
  18. Don't want a divorce, only just got married early last year LOL However, the idea of flipping a few houses did enter my mind - but living in constant dust, shit & constantly moving is a bit of a turn off. Living in your PPoR then selling, you can avoid CGT, however you're constantly unhappy living with an unfinished house.. kind of like how my R33 is unfinished
  19. And we are done! Good start, shower screen guy came with the wrong door lol. Anyhow, it's done now Also removed that block mirror brace lol. #builtnotbought
  20. don't do it, I sold mine, bought another one.. don't get me wrong I drive it like once a month, maybe every 2nd month but I think I'll be truly sad if I sold it... unless someone traded me a M4 BMW for it
  21. Insta is life, every car now is 1000hp w/ a Samsonas or PPG or Albins, etc. Does about 5 Roll Racing stints and it's out for surgery lol Customer (my mate's friend's brother) wanted a GTX2863 in the Gen 2 (which doesn't exist), given that the GTX2860R Gen 2's compressor flows "475hp" unicorn numbers he was more than happy to give it go. Dare say with 2nd gear pulls on a soft as shit timing map, it's showing good signs.
