Haha you're living the dream where as I'm crammed up in a shoe box 32km away from Sydney CBD and it costs nearly as much as your bush hideout. Anyhow, come thread thrash my thread, poor @robbo_rb180 has had a thread derail thanks to us again lololol. Keep up the good work, those SR20s love E85 as they're prone to knocking midrange due to the violent torque and their stroke. GTX2867R on a SR20 is good, GTX3071R w/twin scroll, and a 0.83 rear housing is just amazeballs.

Update, now with E72 (close enough, flex sensor life). Added in a bit of timing and boost and arse dyno tells me it's moving. With 12 degrees of timing midrange at 1.2bar, there's heaps of room to push the setup! Hopefully the dyno is free for me this weekend to tune on, should pump out some solid numbers and be pretty fun on the track.

Which rotors for GTR R32??

Maybe it's time you moved to Elig KT111 pads I can help -
I've personally driven 2x GTX2867R Gen 1 S15s on the track and they are perfectly capable cars. 1x running the 6 speed S15 box (no idea how it is still even together) and the other is the Intima S15 which has a 5 speed Z32. The 5 speed S15 would get the turbo all in by 3900rpm in 3rd where as the 6 speed in would come in about 4200rpm in 3rd. Both had Tomei v1.0 Poncams both on E85, both tuned by me. 6 Speed S15 made 270kW (stock head with ARP studs), 5 Speed S15 made 282kW (has 6Boost manifold & freshened head). I can dig up the graphs tonight if you're interested. I did setup and road tune a S15 with Procams, GTX2867R Gen 2 but the owner blew his gearbox and decided to buy a 2017 Civic Type-R so the S15 is in the garage offline.

@robbo_rb180 thanks man, I would give the whole tiling thing a go at our future house (probably in the next year or two), currently in a townhouse and space is an issue so less tools the better. Turbo wise, we'll find out soon enough, I have the dyno booked Friday after hours (if all goes to plan). The stock T28BB on that same car/motor made 223kW on E85 at 1.2bar (bleeds down big time from 1.4bar) - so I can only assume with bigger cams, a new improved compressor that flows "475hp" on paper doing a bit more than 230kW. If we hit 240kW happy days, but I want to see if 250kW is possible! I did advise him to go a GTX2867R Gen 2, but he said the other car I tuned/setup with the GTX2867R Gen 1 was a bit too laggy for his taste - at the end of the day, customer is always right.

You could hook up an aftermarket WMI kit to spray pre plenum and keep shit clean and provide higher knock resistance -
Which rotors for GTR R32??
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Matty George's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I never get slots for myself, however everyone that buys off me has always wanted slots - so yeah customer is always right However, I did find (might be all in my head) that DBA rotors cool better than OEM style rotors, as the internal cooling channels have more surface area through those kangaroo paws. This is purely based on bro science, where I notice I could do 8~10 laps at Wakefield when I moved from OEM rotors to DBA4000 rotors with the same pads, and same calipers. -
Customer wants response, and on Garrett's site they say the compressor can flow 475hp vs 400hp of the Gen 1 GTX. Guess we'll find out soon if it's unicorn shit or actually real.

Inshallah! Must be tuning shit box SR20 season again, returning customer (ADM S15). Last T28BB E85 set up lasted 3 years till the head lifted with stock head bolts. I did advise the customer to put in ARP head studs, but his mates said no need. Long story short, new set up has freshened up bottom (rings, bearings), skimmed head, new valve seals, Supertech springs, new VCT, RAS, new v2.0 Tomei 258 Poncams and to top it off a GTX2860R Gen 2. Customer is hoping for 250 to 260kW with ball tingling response, car already was doing 1m7s with only 223kW and Hankook Z221 tyres. Just dialing it in before dyno this weekend, the entire old fuel map needed work meaning the motor is now breathing more hence parts were quite lean. Tonight some E85 work and we will be ready for dyno time.

I'm in Sydney and can organise freight to your doorstep for rotors and brake pads. I'll PM you -
S13 Sprint/Time Attack Style Build
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Motorsport Builds
hahaha what do you mean? I'm not that thirsty or I would have ditched both renos, stripped the R33 and bought a M3/4 F80 already lol.. I still gotta adult and make adult decisions, however the 135i N54/55 are at S14/15 prices these days and you'll be silly not to consider it if you're after a reasonably fast car. Exhaust, FMIC, hard FMIC pipe work, MHD reflash and you'll be at 260~270kW -

135i N55 in Manual (no DCT falling out) or N54 if you like cleaning the VANOS every month, both in manual with the factory LSD OR an aftermarket LSD would give boners. -

I would recommend good set of Elig Sport brake pads, DBA4000 T3 all round and some good brake fluid to go with it. -

They don't even make T2s in 296mm (non-Brembo) or 324mm (Brembo)... whoever that person suggested you those rotors might have no idea I would (if I were you) run DBA4000 T3 all round (non slot, longer life, less cracking, less warping, good cooling compared to OEM & OEM styled rotors). Get slots if you want the looks. Dirty plug, I can source & supply DBA rotors, Elig brake pads & Intima brake pads for you -
BRO... that thread title Thanks @niZmO_Man if you need hook ups with Elig, Turbosmart, DBA, Motul, Intima, you know who to ask!
