  1. Not at all, I was in tunnel vision mode lol... This is why I like following people, I tend to be a bit more sensible and take in the scenery
  2. That's why people run boosted engines, to get twice the atmospheric pressure
  3. My back is still pretty sore though, running stiff suspension, a fixed bucket seat with zero give, semi slicks still is hard to offset the adrenaline rush and GATE I think having GATE makes the drive more enjoyable. Disclaimer: We all did the speed limit because we are responsible adults.
  4. You'll be silly to discount a Nistune when it has flex capabilities out of the box, not to mention the option of running a single R35 MAF instead of 2x MAFs, etc. as there's a check box to for you to select from. Look, if you were given the PowerFC for free then sure why not.. but if you had to go buy something within budget, a PowerFC is silly.
  5. I also run a GTX3576R Gen 2 but with a 1.01 divided rear. Sometimes I think maybe the 0.83 divided rear might have been a bit better. However I do like the linear power delivery and also I'm a bit power hungry so 430 to 450kW is achievable once I decide to get a new clutch and a better FMIC. On 3rd when I stomp on it, I'll see all the boost by 4300rpm. By 4000rpm it's making 1 bar of boost already.
  6. Skip the GTX3076 Gen 2 and go GTX3576 Gen 2. I'm not a fan of the GTX3076R, there's too much compressor for turbine.
  7. 0.5 bar and will run up to 2 bar. At the moment trying to command 1.3 to 1.4bar is very challenging. Every 1% to 2% change in duty cycle is jumping 0.1 to 0.3 bar of boost. By dropping the spring you end up with higher resolution. Just some idiosyncrasies with running a 4 port. Running a 3 port but across both ports on the gate is a simpler solution which allows decent control too, but I wanted to try out a 4 port setup, so here I am lol.
  8. Umm no idea to be honest, I said I'll try go once a month with @PLYNX but knowing my life, even that would be hard to achieve. And here's a dose video and some gate, wallah swear to god I didn't use the photo illegally (didn't talk or text or use social media) lol
  9. Man my back is sore lol. A fixed bucket seat, semis, several solid suspension arms, rock hard suspension but yeah ended up doing over 450km today. 1.5 tanks of fuel later ? Good drive with @PLYNX and my mate in his R33. Okay, admittedly it was pretty fun and first time I've actually stretched the new setup with a lousy tune. Shoots flames, 11:1 afrs, lazy 10 to 12 degrees of timing but it is wanting to light up 255 Nankang AR-1 semi slick tyres. Still need to swap out thr gate spring to a softer spring, running a 4 port solenoid and with a 1bar spring there's very limited resolution, kept spiking and hitting engine protection.
  10. Lol yeah but considering it's not even 1.5 years old with 17xxx kms on it, it's a joke!
  11. Just going for a drive in my skyline starter kit
  12. Surplize modapuckers lol This happened today, driving back from work like a normal person. Doesn't happen when I drive like a complete knob, or launch it at 4k. Anyhow tried off and turning it off and on, that didn't help ? So headed out to pick up the missus in this shit box, and spanked the limiter, she didn't like it.
  13. Definitely taking the Skyline, this just happened tonight lol
  14. Depends on budget, generally I prefer ECUs that don't use the AFM. Generally these are good options and reasonable in price: Haltech Platinum Plug-in Pro (a bit dated, but still very powerful and plenty of I/Os when you run the AUX harness) Haltech Elite 2000 (no DBW and multistage engine protection, just single, need to buy patch harness OR wire in) Haltech Elite 2500 (I run this, I love it - easy to tune as I self tune, need to buy patch harness OR wire in) Link G4+ Link Fury/Xtreme (need to wire in) Adaptronic M2000 Adaptronic 440 (they're ok, buggy but if you know how to work around them they're good value) Then there are more mental ECUs out there like MoTec and Syvecs, but overkill.
  15. I assume you're American to some extent, based on the HKS SSQV BOV haha.. No idea why your people love them so much, it's annoying as bat shit. I would invest in a decent fuel pump too, nothing too crazy. A DW300 would be decent enough for your goals, with the option of running E85 later on for mild power.
  16. Put it this way, there's a reason why you see heaps of PowerFCs, Microshits, EMS Stingers, Wolf 3D, 4D, whatever it's up to now, etc. for sale on the used market and not many Nistunes, Haltechs, Links, etc. Because they're ......
  17. Although not as modern as some of the full standalone it has it's merits as @GTSBoy has pointed out. Also it's easier to setup with larger injectors (thanks to the TIM) and you can run the R35 MAF card with a drop down (where as in a PowerFC have fun scaling it). Not to mention it has basic launch control, basic TP Load and water temp engine protection (neither of which the PowerFC has) and flex fuel support, with reverse flex fuel support, i.e. primary map is E85, compensation table is 98RON but wait there's more, you can actually change the blend amount too between the primary table and the compensation table. So good.
  18. Yes you do need FC Datalogit to tune it properly, with the hand controller you're missing out on many tables and functions. Also, just curious, why did you decide to buy a PowerFC in 2019? They're so outdated, low in features, doesn't' support flex, doesn't support triggering changes, doesn't do heaps of things actually.
  19. Does the car turn off when you release the handbrake? It should, if it doesn't whoever wired up the turbo timer and/or built in turbo timer in the alarm should be shot and have their hands cut off. Also, turbo timers are gay.
  20. I think so, has PRP on it but better check by installing them and record some anti-lag videos ?
  21. Get a PRP coil kit, billet thingo, braided wiring, and fits under the stock coil cover. I'm running them, jammed in a bit more dwell and shit is lit. Don't go with the other ones on the market, you can't run the stock cover without trimming.
  22. Going to need new coils to support that big huffa Please throw that igniter pack into the bin!
