want to buy a turbo kit for my N/A R34
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Jase_r34's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I'm at this point now... Poured a lot of effort, money and love into a car and get f**k all back. Been a long time since I touched the car and the longer the time passes the more I consider getting 50L of fuel and match to finish the job I feel your pain But I did buy a brand new European car, and holy shit I've been missing out on life, wish I spent $0 on the R33 and sold the damn thing 5 years ago and bought a 335i lol. -
How many pumps do you have in your car? Honestly If you're running a single pump don't even worry about it.

I've had 2 out of that list too.. LOL Owning a Skyline is like a disease, it just sucks more and more out of you and returns nothing. Sometimes I tell the missus a meth addiction is cheaper, just not neccessarily as healthy lol. Owning a Skyline can be best compared to a infatuation with a stripper. -

Best option, cheapest, most reliable and smartest option is to sell the GT and buy a GT-t. -

Probably more, I can tell you that my R33 would lose to our Tiguan 162TSI off the line due to stupid amounts of wheel spin OR simply bogging down. A family car with launch control is THE BEST -
The Charge Lamp warning, without that connected the alternator won't work. This also means, if your cluster isn't in and/or the bulb is blown there's nothing to "excite" the alternator. A simple way could be to start the car and connect a bulb/resistor in series to the alternator labelled "L" to the positive terminal and see if that's raises the voltage of the electrical system.

Funny enough my total spend for my R33 is edging near 50k (including cost of the car), cost excluding servicing and consumables. I would still probably lose to that Golf R around the track and on the drag strip. Roll Racing or mile, 1/2 mile different story. -

They actually weigh more than a R32/33 GTS-t -
Bro.. niztoons has laundry control and full flex detergent (3x sections for pre, wash, and post wash), and you can preselect RPM
-
Tier 3 laundry nearly done, just need to adjust the doors, fit door pull tabs, hit it's mum with silicone, fit new taps/spout (whenever it comes) and gap fill and ready for roll racing.

ECU Options R33 Skyline
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Blakeo's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Guess you're right then, because you have 2x degrees. Sorry to offend earlier, I will now tell everyone Nistune is junk and tell Matt I no longer can sell/tune his products. -
Tier 4 engine bay, will be Tier 3.5 when it gets a new plenum and the cam cover hoses routed properly. Going to powder coat all the parts soon, when I find someone (when I get off my arse)

ECU Options R33 Skyline

More to do with your tuner than the hardware, it's drives as good as any other ECU if you know what you're doing. I've seen even workshops tune them incorrect, especially the NEO ones, as there are a few tricks to get them working well. One thing that's hard to get right on a Nistune is idle, however only when the car is running massive cams and a huge intake pipe. You end up with "choppy" airflow which causes AFM voltage fluctuations, but there's also a flag to enable to smooth the voltage when the idle conditions are met. You give a man a hammer, everything looks like a nail. -
Haha that pate was made by my wife and I at the Agrarian Kitchen in Tasmania, 2 day cooking class. I actually got the bottle at Sullivan's Cove (as in the distillery itself). I can't remember the taste now lol. Anyhow, one more laundry photo lolol.

I log fuel data, comes from the flex sensor. Driving around the streets for about 45 minutes brings up the temps to about 35 degrees. Considering the outside air was about 18 degrees (data inside the Temp, Pressure, Fuel) table. I suspect this will climb quite quickly on the track. Mind you, the pumps are running on PWM and duty set quite low off boost. To prove a point, I'll set both pumps to full noise and see what temps we get.
