tastes a bit similar to a Hibiki 12 to be honest However, it's hard to beat the Aldi 8 Year old Highland Black. I poured some out to my whisky snob mates and ask them to rate it. Then I told them what it was and price and they were all mind blown.

Also it's a town house, the laundry is on a solid slab too and ground level. As Ben stated, all the laundry waste would go directly into the drain not on the floor. If it were a shower, it would be very different

Thermo Fan Activation On RB25DET NEO
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to DTT_Eruc's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
If you're using a R34 thermostat as I mentioned. I have a R33 one which opens at sub 80s instead of close to 90 as the factory NEO. -
Thermo Fan Activation On RB25DET NEO

I would just have it come on about 85-87 and off at 80 or so. Doesn't matter of NEOs run hotter or not, if you're not applying any timing or fuel corrections for warm up at those temps then you can choose what operating temperature you choose. Just remember to run a R33 thermostat instead. -
But all good things don't last, I'm back to work tomorrow. Ended up with a 2.5 contract role until our 5 week Europe trip. A little bit of coin helps I guess.

It's a road driven R32 that has stock arms, just run -0.5 degrees of camber each side. The slightest amount of power and the arse end will squat and the camber will ramp to the moon and back. Best option is to convert to a S14/15 subframe but with your power goals and tyre wear concern probably money better spent on new bushes, adjustable arms etc. -

Yeah, your coilpacks belong in the bin (bluntly putting it). -

Wow, awesome progress! I love the attention to detail and especially your bracket making abilities (which I envy). Mine usually is just flat bar from Bunnings hit with a flap disc lol -
Professional Help/Advice Needed!

Stock ECU and stock injectors? If so I'll start with cleaning your AFM, and injectors. If they're clogged or gummed up, it will be a bit too lean to start. If you're in this situation, unplug your coolant temp sensor (2x pin one not the 1x pin one) and it should start. If not stock ECU, tuned and worked etc. then could be a poor cranking table or coolant/IAT/fuel correction table issue or clogged injectors or anything really. -

Pop some Splitfires in or R35 or 370Z coilpacks and I'm quite confident your problems will go away, note the last 2x options will require a new bracket and wiring loom. -

What colour are your coil packs? Red or Orange or Yellow? Or Black or Blue? -
A basic Haltech can make it work or an Adaptronic. You simply just don't use the fuel tables and use only the ignition table based on TPS position aka Alpha-N You could also install an IAT purely for cold starts, idle and timing trimming strategies. Would be an awesome sounding motor with VCT, big sex spec cams, equal length headers and ITBs. Suit an old 240Z or similar. Another thing that comes to mind, you could even drill the trumpets and fit injectors onto them and spray pre throttle.

I prefer the R35 HPX MAF in a blow through configuration, however pre turbo is fine too. Yes air straighteners help heaps however cars with brappy cams and large pre turbo intake pipes generally have slow air flow (and also not linear flow) pass the sensor on idle. This however can be suppressed some what if the pipe work before the sensor is long enough with a mesh. -

Incorrect, will be a C U N T to tune, especially with getting the idle right with cars with big cams. Have had a few I barely can get to Idle nicely.
