  1. Okay, started with the water lines. Water feed (line that goes behind head) done, I might redo the one going from the union to the turbo again. Not 100% happy with the fitment as it rests on the collector.
  2. I would go GTX3071R Gen 2, and modify the stock manifold (Havoc style, leave the divider in there). E85, head studs, baby cams, supporting mods and pump out nice wholesome 500hp.
  3. Putting in larger injectors will not instantly make more power. If you did that, you'll end up losing power from overly rich mixtures (assuming that's all you plan to change).
  4. Just head studs, E85, good hotside, not too much timing in the mid range and they'll last! Even with a stock HG!
  5. No progress, but the Tiguan managed 8.3L/100km from our trip back from Jervis Bay. 4x adults, full trunk of luggage and left over groceries, grog, etc. Turns out speeding ends up using more fuel, on the way there car managed to do 8.5L/100km however I drove at 120km/h all the way there. Drive back home was mainly between 100-110km/h.
  6. Well fk that escalated quickly haha, also better to run a bit more boost on those GTX2867R, they love boost. 3 SRs I've tuned all have made 270kW+ on IWG with either stock or after market T2 manifolds with at least 25psi (all 3x SRs still stock motors too lol).
  7. Sounds like the Alpha N table isn't set properly, put it all at 255 across the rev range. If it's set under 255, on light throttle there's a massive surge of acceleration compensation that's applied. Also is the stock MAP sensor connected? Nistune goes spastic with it disconnected even though the flags for the sensor are disabled.
  8. Well stock would be fine if you're chemically cooling your IAT with water and/or meth.
  9. Just buy mine, bolt in the engine, turbo setup, fuel system, electrical system and make 450kW. 30k
  10. What are the IATs like? Swap out the cooler and it will make more power and if there isn't any compensation on the IAT it will also show slightly leaner mixture denoting a cooler charge temp. General question: You can make 400kW+ on these stock coolers, but are you making that power efficiently?
  11. Not the Comp and Pro Series. Their budget kits are though.
  12. Pretty jealous you got a new box in hopefully time to carve up mad times!
  13. New box, sounds like a 2nd gear clutch dump is mandatory lol
  14. CRD and Maatouks, watch out!
  15. You mean hella rich? Best way is to have 2x tunes, ghetto way is to blend up some E40 or so and run that with temporary injector correction so it runs okay on light throttle, cruise, etc. If you've been having cold start issues from the start, it's more likely you don't haven't enough cranking fuel for when it's cold.
  16. Strap it to a dyno, load hold it at 4k rpm for a good 30 mins Dump the oil and pop in fresh oil see how it goes, if not rebuild. I laugh if the "engine" builder didn't clock the rings LOL
  17. HaveI have one, I'm located in Cabramatta. Have sent you a PM.
  18. I personally would go for the Kelford, has more lIft.
  19. Cranking compensation table wasn't dialed in properly. Was too lean to start.
  20. Removing the restrictors would add to the problem with the motor appearing to breathe heavily. I would take off the head and pop in 2x 1.2mm restrictors into the rear feeds and whilst you're at it, install a head drain since the head is off. You'll need to clean it up a bit to remove all the swarf when you drill into it to fit the drain.
