  1. Back then when I used the same type of block, I just tapped with a 1/8npt into the blanking cap. Then smeared a bit of gasket maker onto it before fitting. Didn't leak at all for 4 years.
  2. That's the best part, just swap housing no fab work and off I go again Interesting to know that, I never really looked deeper into the overall surface area and volume of the housings.
  3. Becareful not to drill too far in with the head drain, because you'll essentially need to remove the head to clean up the swarf you've dropped into the motor lol. I didn't bother with one (wish me luck). I installed some BS harden engine mounts by vibrant or some bs.. the car vibrates a bit and I hate it.
  4. Noone did the comparison, but from amalgamating different results from various results it appears going to a larger housing (of course keeping it TS) people have lost not much boost respons vs. RPM however however tends not to nose over. I saw those results from 240Z going from a 0.82 OS to a 1.06 TS and actually getting better response. I got the whole GTX3576 idea from the Evolution and WRX guys, so hopefully once it's all running we can get some data.
  5. I've been stalking the Evolution M forums, as well as some random Russian YouTube videos with the same turbo on Chasers albeit Gen 1. Back to back from 0.83 to 1.01 there was a bee's dick difference in response however a bit more top end.
  6. Salem Habib, wallah don't be worried, I'm not gonna run a speed sensor on my turbo and send it Race you soon bruh.
  7. Wanted the car to be linear and not snap necks, although my mates have been telling me to go with the 0.83 TS housing. Let's see, if I'm not overly impressed might have to drop it down a housing. But my gut feel (based loosely on pure broscience) tells me it will work out pretty well.
  8. How much timing or actually what EGTs?
  9. 2nd piece of the GTX3576R Gen 2 puzzle, now just waiting for the 1.01 twin scroll housing. No dispatch notice yet, but was told this week.
  10. go test it with a multimeter and come back tell me what the output is directly out of the ECU
  11. ECU fuel pump output is NOT +ve from the ECU it's -ve
  12. don't worry, he'll start up a new topic soon enough Like he did with the tachometer.
  13. All good bro happy to help out people willing to give it a go!!!
  14. Gay turbo, too much compressor wheel vs turbine wheel. Even more gay sex as twins on a GT-R. Full homo.
  15. Meh, no need. Waste of money, a single 50mm is plenty for this shit box.
  16. Twin scroll, full division to wastegate seat - unlike other brands for the players bitches
  17. You want it on asap to create more torque, and off when you reach peak torque. There's no "playing around" with it, as it's not adjustable. Just do 2x runs and find where the torque intersects and you'll know fast enough where to switch off VCT.
  18. Not as a full complete kit, you need to buy the supercore and order the rear housing separately I'm still waiting on my divided 1.01 T3 rear housing from Sparesbox, however I have a nice GTX3576R Gen 2 supercore at home.
  19. Can't race with a Halaltech, motor will spin backwards according to a few people.
  20. Yes, it cycles between the 2x temperatures.
  21. New shit turbo, hopefully doesn't spit out a turbine when I smash the limiter and thrash it's mum. Still waiting on the rear housing, Sparesbox said may be next week
  22. Yes it can, 2x sensors 2x Independent temperatures. I've setup numerous EG2s
  23. It might be a tiny big, but you've got AWD so there's a bit more load meaning it will spool a bee's dick earlier. I was getting 20psi by 4300rpm also had it low mounted however with an 45mm gate off the manifold. Yeah stock OP6 is super small and zzz lol
