  1. motor was rebuilt during now and his last post, made more power this time round lol
  2. I think just the 1.01 rear, is that right @WantGTR?
  3. I think easy, Oli's car put down 615kW on a Mainline hub dyno at Mick's Motorsports. Also runs a GTX3584RS
  4. there's your problem lol... put some normal street tyres on the back and strap the car down a bit tighter using the traction bar on the dyno, might see an instant 10~15kW or more! As it squats and moves forward into the front roller the rear will squat down.
  5. or buy an Engine Guardian 2, EG2 off eBay Simple, has 2x 1/8 NPT sensors, can setup audible alarms and also use as an external fan controller. I recommend these for simple track/street cars with minimum crap. One can even use the fan output to cut the boost solenoid too, so if you exceed an oil temp/and or water temp you can have the relay cut power to your EBC solenoid
  6. What tyres are on the back? it does sound noisy (implies they are sticky tyres)
  7. Do you want a bigger turbo? Haha I have a Hypergear ATR45SAT with the optioned ball bearing centre
  8. Move to Australia, problem solved.
  9. Sure is! Came from an auto Stagea with 168k but the oil looked like tar lol. So started with some basic item refreshes then somehow a few people twisted my arm a little and eBay had 18% off sitewide then ended up with a built motor ? The oil pump mating face has 2x locating towels for the oil pump to slide on. I believe the hack is to remove them so you can move the oil pump into the right location using a dealer gauge, however that's only if you need to - which comes from when you tunnel bore the block which "may" shift the crank upwards ever so slightly. I didnt and also using stock bearing clearances so fingers crossed, no more silly oil issues ?‍♂️
  10. can you please change your alias back to ARAB haha.. was the best Car looking good mate, wanna buy my Hypergear ATR45SAT? lol
  11. Dude, it's a run off the mill Skyline not some Ferrari F40 or Hakosuka.
  12. Didn't take photos, but I realised when I was hanging a shit I popped the rear shim behind the crank timing belt pulley backwards. Spoke to a few people and @NEO25T and they said it should be ok backwards as the belt is front bias and as long as the front (outter most) shim is facing the right way it should be fine. But... Me being me, tore it all down and fitted it properly. Also last night tightened the sump up, installed cross member, unstrapped the motor, installed castor rods, anti roll bar and all the over bullshit. Sinco manifold should get here by end of week, just got the shipping details. Once the turbo rear turbine housing comes, I'll bolt up the lot and work out how I will do the lines. Thinking of fitting a turbo oil filter on the chassis with a P clamp so it's out of the way. More money to waste, and I am being made redundant end of March lol.
  13. Haha I thought you were reminiscing about your old R33, hence I added in the blow oil pump part lol
  14. Yes! Good stuff man, glad we all knocked sense into you! (waits for the Precision hating lot to chime in)
  15. Then blame the injectors and/or cams for the poor cold start, funny how many times I've heard this.
  16. If so, why don't you do it yourself?
  17. Lol.. Scaling up all the sensors properly, checking all the inputs and outputs are setup correctly already takes up a couple of hours. Then you'll need to spend at least 2 to 3 hours on the dyno followed by some road tuning to refine it. Now.. say "if" you've setup all your IOs properly and setup all your transient, cold starts, hot starts properly then sure.. 2 to 3 hours is fine. However, I have NEVER seen a car given to me that has been running properly. Every single one has had fuel pressure problems or IOs setup wrong or EBCs connected wrong etc. Also it's a Skyline with some bolt ons, doubt anyone will pinch anything if they're a large enough shop.
  18. Just add more boost to make up for the apparent low compression
  19. Round 2 on the oil pump, this time started with a brand new N1 pump, took out N1 gears and popped in Rev. 2 of the Spool Import gears. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan this time round.
  20. Doubt it, could be pure coincidence. Checked fuel pressure yet?
  21. wow, solid stuff man - love seeing data, like they say without data it's just an opinion.
