    On November 22nd 2018, I put an order for a GTX3576R Gen 2 supercore from Sparesbox. Sparesbox then went all quiet for about 3 weeks, I then contacted them and they advise there will be a delay (thanks for telling me anything). Due to the lack of communication, they offered me a $35 voucher. Sure whatever, it's end of the year not like I'm going to work on my car anyhow lol Fast forward a few weeks, Pxxx (trying to hide names) called me and she advised me GCG (their supplier) is unable to provide me the turbo bought, so the alternative was to bump me up to a GTX3582R Gen 2. A bit hesitant at first, I eventually agreed to go a tad bigger. So, last week I received a package on Friday, excited I opened it and look what arrived ?‍♂️ So yeah, I got what I wanted nearly 2 months ago, but... I've ordered a 0.83 housing because I thought I was getting a GTX3582R Gen 2 not a GTX3576R Gen 2. If I was definitely getting a GTX3576R Gen 2, it would be a 1.01 housing not a baby 0.83. So f you Sparesbox.

    I'll buy the car minus running gear, suspension, subframe, brakes if anyone is keen on only the running gear. CBF cutting the rust, fixing the dents and respraying mine lol. This seems easier haha

    Hopefully someone crazy trades me their BMW for my R33 shit box. After buying the Tiguan, my view on cars has changed so much. Stupid making an old car fast, when you can get a fast new car.

    Hahahaha does it really bog? Wow lol Other day at the lights down Cumberland Highway heading towards KK (was actually going to Office Works) some little F Boy kid was in his fully sick 86 and went on the far left lane to overtake everyone. Of course I toyed with him as we took off and just kept up to him as he was reving the living daylights out of his poor NA eco friendly car. I then stomped on it and off I went. He drove up to me afterwards and looked confused. Anyhow was in the missus' Tiguan lol.

    I didn't use the bottom mounts and went with an ASR sump. The pickup was modified to suit the ASR sump as well. Totally binned the spigot as it's not needed. Bad photo, but this is how it looks atm mounted to a RWD R33.

    I'm a Business Analyst with experience in point of sales, ETL, ERP interfaces and e-commerce Yeah lol... but I also tune cars for less than shops and spend more hours on them. Might need to start tuning more soon, I've managed to get access to an AWD dyno in Wetherill Park

    Don't worry about cams, save for better turbos or a single conversion. Getting better cams, injectors and a tune on stock turbos won't achieve anything. You need to somehow get more air in and air out, focus on that.

    I've been getting heaps of calls from Willowdale, Pinnacle, etc. they're dropping their prices too for off the plan or just land alone. Tempted to buy, but I think they will drop further as most mum/dad investors are scared of the risk associated - also banks are under valuing the properties/blocks of land. Last I looked, a 430 sq metre block on 8th Avenue, Austral was asking $450k, 10% up front nearly 1 year delayed settlement (end of 2019). Still looks like there are few lots left. Downside for us, because of the market slump, our evalutions have been shit - thus less equity to use as capital, so we'll just enjoy life a bit more and fry cash on the stupid R33 LOL

    But you have assets/savings, that's all that matters! There are plenty of folks who burn all their cash on shit and have the latest and greatest whiz bang parts - which I think is a poor life choice. If you ever have some spare time, look at Leppington, Austral, etc. near Badgery's Creek airport in NSW. It will be zoned for 24/7 flights and assuming so would mean 24/7 businesses/companies/logistic hubs. Future plans for train extension from Leppington -> Airport. Just an idea

    Yeah man, being smart at school and being smart at life are different things - don't worry, it seems you're doing just fine with your toys and assuming you own property I was a bit late to the property market game, but at least I'm in and have some money left over for subpar Garrett and Haltech parts LOL.

    hahaha, I would have bought a real boat by now if we owned a bigger house. Hopefully once the housing market gets a bit better, we'll have a bit more accessibility to a larger house

    Haha I'm a bit picky how I want things done, hence I doubt I could ever find a car that's built the way I like. So that leaves me two options, build it myself OR find a stock, fast, reliable car lol.
