I think I will be doing more skid pan days than track days coming up next year, the current turbo setup doesn't come on till 4300rpm (which isn't that bad for something potentially making close to 420~430kW). I was hoping to get the same level of boost threshold as my old billet Hypergear ATR43SS2 with this turbo however it doesn't. Also the transient on this turbo is much lazier than the SS2, then again this turbo's turbine side is essentially a GT35 where as the SS2 is a GT30. My future goal is, early torque and early boost like my old SS2 setup but with about 420kW+, hence I've ordered (still waiting) a GTX3576R Gen 2 with a 1.01 divided rear housing.
  3. Yeah hired car, it was so good.. And of course used launch control many times ? Makes me want to flash the Tiguan and pop in a new downpipe/cat.
  4. Upgrade the dump/downpipe with a large bell mouth one and a high flow cat. You'll be less knock limited and you'll make more power.
  5. No updates with the shit box, also note to all don't drive nice modern cars, you have even less reason to finish off your car lol. Had a SQ5 for a week and wow, just wow. Fast, fun, comfy, no lag, stock (less things to break). Took it on the beach too lol.

If the car isn't taking timing and the base timing is correct try dropping your cat completely and running it on the dyno without it, ie dump pump to down pipe to atmosphere Could be a restrictive cat or cat back exhaust or both. Also just re reading are you running the stock dump and down pipe? (I'm assuming you're referring to wheel HP not kW)
  7. Are you referring to the old E6x E8x junk? If so Haltech is nothing like it used to be.
  8. I believe there's a grub screw you can loosen up. Anyhow, invest in a decent EBC. Bleed valves aren't exactly precision instruments. Also shameless plug time, I also have a Blitz DSBC Dual Solenoid EBC for sale lol.

Scott is good with pricing, I initially had a NPC clutch that I put in but whoever owned the car before me installed the wrong throw out bearing carrier when they installed some eBay special clutch and it kept riding the clutch - which prematurely destroyed it. So Scott re-used my NPC pressure plate and reduced the clamp load down to 1.7 tons and installed a xtreme disc with new bearings, new carrier, replaced my clutch fork (old one was fractured) even changed my rear main seal and if I remember was under $900 for all that work (including parts). That is service.
  17. Blades never spin backwards, if they did you motor would probably stall as there's no where for the exhaust gasses to go
  18. wouldn't surprise me if both sets are cooked... Borrow set of decent coils that aren't yellow or red in colour. If S1 check ignitor/swap it AND check the ignition harness (clean or replace or hit it with WD40) if S2 check the ignition harness (clean or replace or hit it with WD40)
