  1. bring back a E63 AMG as a personal import
  2. 8sec R33 with Sunroof record soon!
  3. Awwwww noooooooo Buy a Golf R Wagon
  4. Run a de-cat or test pipe as you yanks call them and yes delete one of BOVs. I suggest the gay SSQV. It's not The Fast and The Furious. And yeah run a new actuator. Those BW are known to be lazy and somewhat useless.
  5. Ringlands on the RB25DET break, on the NEO motor they don't seem to break at the 400kW mark but with enough heat/stress/abuse it will eventually go. Mind you, mine was driven hard on track days. I would easily rack up about 60 to 80 laps each time I went to Wakefield Park. If my shit box was purely for street and the drag strip then I doubt it would have gone bang.
  6. haven't really worked out that yet lol Will do a bit of maths when the time comes, currently car is on the hoist looking pretty - too cold to work on it
  7. It's flexible, because you never know what you're getting.. Today might be E65, tomorrow might be E72 and during Chinese New Year it might be E88
  8. It will go over 450HP at the wheels, the smaller ATR43SS2 went 499HP on mine for nearly 2 years before the motor went bang.
  9. If that's the case GTt ones are dime a dozen, everyone going Halaltech or Link or Motec or ECU Master or Syvecs these days.
  10. You mean you run E85 full time. PowerFC can't even cut power when you're above a particular load point, it can't even cut power when you've exceeded a particular engine water temperature. I think you need to admit now that it is a pretty basic ECU. Nistune can do full flex blending (PowerFC cannot), Nistune has basic engine protection (PowerFC will grenade your motor), Nistune you can vary your VCT (PowerFC you cannot), Nistune has launch control (PowerFC does not have), Nistune you can fully map the DC for the boost solenoid (PowerFC you cannot). So tell why the PowerFC is better? Because of its useless hand controller?
  11. Why not tiguan r? Nearly 10k more, for mechanically nearly the same car. I have nearly all the driver aids except the bird's eye camera and the fancy dash. Still has launch control, AWD, adaptive dampers and 20s lol
  12. Has no features, can't do flex, doesn't even have basic engine protection Nistune is the only way for a budget set up.
  13. If your head and block has not been machined then it won't seal. Cometic HG, although a pain in the arse to get right are actually very good. Just wrong application in a slapper job. You need a Tomei o-ring head gasket or a Nitto one if your block hasn't been machined.
  14. How about a Golf R wagon? I just bought the wife a Tiguan 162TSI Sportline and I can tell you it handles amazing, not so much a wagon but close to it. I would have gotten a Golf R wagon if she didn't have a thing against wagons lol.
  15. In other news, my heater core split. Explains why I was losing coolant and not being to work out where it is was going...... Until I removed the ECU to sell it, found a nice Olympic sized swimming pool in the passenger foot well. Massive karnt of a job, maximum aids. 0
  16. So...... when is the 1JZ-GTE or 2JZ-GTE going in?
  17. Ports were mismatched to the gasket, valves ever so slightly kissed the pistons, low use motor but scoring on bearings....
