  1. if you ever want to make 500kW I have a brand new motor that's never started before sitting at home... Kind of over it.. so if you come give me enough cash you can take the lot and if you give me enough I'll throw in a free car with enough track suspension mods you'll cum your pants.. all it needs is a roll cage and will be competitive.. has Brembo brakes too.
  2. Get a RB25DET NEO head on it, bring up the comp to about 11:1, put massive cams into it and rev it to the moon... could even adapt ITBs to it. A high comp, 3.0L, NA with ITBs and VCT would be pretty fun. And as Bill said, nitrous.. I would spray nitrous into it.
  3. Just took a stab and ordered the lower injector insulators/seals from a RB26. Let's see how that goes lol
  4. No to Hybrid manifolds, great way to destroy a $3000 ish turbo
  5. 1250cc would be plenty,, also they're easier to fit as they're 3/4 length not 1/2 length like the 1300/1550/1700 injectors out there.
  6. buy my shit, offer me a reasonable price, and perhaps we can transact on a reasonable deal
  7. yummy... VWs suck, DSG boxes fall out and cam chains/tensioners fail, not to mention the odd cam shaft snapping!!!!
  8. Thread bump!! So I'm having massive issue trying to fit Bosch 1550cc injectors to a RB25 NEO plenum, which are 1/2 height injectors. I have the extenders to make them 3/4 height in order to fit my Plazmaman rail. 1st issue, injector doesn't seem to go all the way in 2nd issue, connector hits the plenum so there's no way of plugging them in. What I suspect may work is for me to install the RB26 injector "square" or insulator to bring the injectors up about 5mm. How have others overcome this? Besides the obvious and getting 3/4 height injectors. I'm sure in the past many have run 2000/2200cc CNG injectors on their NEO motors which also only come in 1/2 height. Sigh...
  9. 2000cc or 2200cc injectors are junk, avoid! They're cheap for a reason because suppliers are overstocked on useless CNG injectors.
  10. If I had a GT-R and didn't want to spend stupid amounts of money to make it fast, I would do all the handling, suspension, braking, cooling mods first. Then go thrash the living daylights out of it on the track. Once I am ready, would drop in ARP headstuds, higher lift cams, and a big sexy single.
  11. Whatever you do, don't try and jam GTX wheels into these turbos either. A simple search shows how these owners all regret it.
  12. Turn down the boost, your car isn't tuned. You cannot tune the stock R33 ECU unless it has been remapped by Toshi or by those off the shelf remapped Nap ECUs (totally useless with Australia fuel and climate).
  13. No need to apologise I'm not entirely sure to be honest, but I will be running a fuel pressure sensor and monitoring that. No more ghetto video recordings of the FPR on the dyno haha. @SiR_RB with his old car and old setup did over 440kW on a single Wallahbro pump so I'm assuming I should be ok for now. If not surge tank, twin Wallahs and done lol. Ideally you want matched pumps if not you'll encounter massive flow issues, as one pump is delivering more than the other pump which could possibly lead to smaller one stalling.
  14. Good question, I plan to just get it to a sensible 400kW for now - then once I'm ready might get a surge tank and run dedicated -8an lines to and from the rail
  15. So got the blanking cap for the middle feed for the rail and started to install the injectors... Well that really didn't go to plan I needed the o-rings distant to be 55mm at least, I didn't check and mine measures 48mm so no deal!
  16. no car was sold 1.5 years ago, but you might see it around. Has metal flared guards, silver, Plaz W2A IC, 7064 EFR, 2.2L SR20, Silver in colour
  17. Xspurt 1000cc have the tips milled off, thus the flow differences when not matched properly with others.
  18. Install a muffler on it, my mate did it on his S15 and I dare say sounded good and not obnoxious like a screamer on it's own.
  19. Do the twins, then a few years later upgrade to a single Then you'll be like "why did I ever do the twins?"
  20. Bosch 1550cc, often advertised as 1650cc (when run at 4 bar base) if you're on a budget. If not ID1700X and call it a day. 2000/2200cc CNG injectors are gay full stop, tried to road tune a set and they were awful.
  21. Just to be clear, a better ECU doesn't magically make more power
  22. yeah, entirely up to you I prefer Nistune for it's basic engine protection. You can setup a TP Load cut and you can set soft/hard cut RPM limiters so you won't destroy your oil pump. Just my recommendation, I know PowerFC has it's "cool" factor as you have a hand controller - but the novelty wears off there for me
  23. if you can tune a PowerFC, then you can tune a Haltech, Adaptronic, Link, Vipec etc... Haltech being the easiest to tune, as the software is le sex! Even their base maps make any tuner horny.
