  1. I've tuned several R35 AFMs in both 3" and 4" inch tubes and also tuned the HPX R35 styled AFM... The tube size just changes the resolution of the AFM, generally if you run before the intake I would go bigger and also introduce a bend to reduce turbulence. It's more preferable to install these AFMs post turbo, post FMIC to reduce any reversion issues as well as turbulence. In terms of scaling the PowerFC to work with the R35 I have no idea (as I stopped playing with powerFC about 10 years ago - as they're outdated and have zero features). Preferable to go with Nistune, that has all the data for the R35 AFM (literally there's a menu where you select your AFM vs. the pipe size), not to mention supports basic engine protection, full flex support and launch control (bang bang lol). If I was your tuner and you brought me a R35 AFM to install on your car I would say get a Nistune OR sell everything and get a Link or Halaltech or Adaptronic
  2. The version 2.0 pads contain more metallic fibres compared to the older v1.0 Type-D. This means there's a bit more initial bite as well as resistance to heat. Downside to all of this, there will be more noise LOL
  3. Haven't done too much since the last update, however all the hose blanking caps now all have hose clamps and I finished swapping the plugs on the injector loom. Decided to not use the conversion plugs and cut off the OEM ones.
  4. Hey some people like lag, and really lazy transient then there are people who don't. Personal preference at the end of the day. Also, do you need a 100mm Plazmaman FMIC?
  5. yeah nah.. if you're serious, I could organise something
  6. How much would you pay? I could organise a group buy
  7. I've told *cough* someone this 10 years ago, he only listened this year.
  8. add more camber then, car will feel faster and suit "the low down"
  9. touch up tune won't do much, it's still going to be aids.. unless it gets either a 3.0L or V-Cam or VCT retrofitted to it
  10. -5 on a stock RB26 on 98RON My advice (if you really want it): move to a modern single turbo, and twin scroll everything bring it to a workshop with half a brain or more, e.g. MRC (personally seen Mark's work and I also hire his dyno to tune myself) or Insight (what others have told me) Go full flex, sensor in the return line WMI is good if you can't get E85 - but E85 hands down, there's no torque spike unlike WMI unless you ramp it in super early but you'll use so much more WMI higher chance of failure, WMI tells ECU it's spraying, but it's not spraying - timing comes in, motor goes bang WMI you need to be sure you're spraying before you add timing, delays = less fun I'm assuming the car runs a PowerFC. Get some motivation from Motive DVD's R32 GT-R when it was running the GTX3582, will drive better, will do everything better than the gayspec -5.
  11. Should get a JHH distribution block like mine, it deletes the homosex OEM oil filter housing which is prone to corroding followed by mixing water and oil together to make a delish frappe with your oil
  12. Why is everyone's motor on stands and not in their cars? Lol... 2017, the year of rebuilds haha
  13. you will need the oil filter mount, I have an old HKS one lying around so will be using that.. you could easily use a BMC one which would be just as good! And yes, you would require a new filter as the external oil filter housing I have won't fit the OEM oil filter - generally the Z422 fits and and.. yes the JHH housing bolts on the place where the OEM water/heat exchanger oil filter housing goes on
  14. slides on like the RB20 oil housing, then the 4 bolts/gasket holds it in place, pretty sexy bit of kit
  15. Heya Matt - clears well, already test fitted I was worried too!
  16. More parts came so more parts were installed! New thermostat housing because my old one looks a bit tired and JHH oil distribution block, decided to remove the RB20 oil housing and went with this sexy bit of gear. Also new sensor installed too. Yes those are 2x -10AN fittings on the block, no need for homo sandwich plates or shitty relocation kits! Once again thanks to the team at Kudos Motorsports!
  17. Do you want Intima stickers?
  18. Being a R32 GTR I would run one from the tank to the surge as those tanks are metal. Then one filter out of the pumps to the rail. This keeps the surge tank clean and happy and the injectors happy. Size wise ask @Piggaz, he knows more about filtration than a Russian rocket scientist LOL
  19. Correct but under less fuel pressure (pretty much 0.1bar) the Wallahbro 255 lift pump would perform about the same as say a single 460 Wallahbro at 5 bar (factoring in on boost on noise). I don't have graphs as I'm on my phone.
  20. I would run a smaller lift pump, even a Wallahbro 255 or smalelr wherever to possible to reduce the heat production.. flex sensor, would just install it on the return between the surge & fuel tank
  21. overnight parts from Japan! Maybe I should have bought SARD side feeds.
  22. Recycling worth, twins with GTX compressors would net more money. Enjoyment factor, VB would still provide better entertainment although they're still rank as fk.
