  1. If money permits and you're planning to track I would skip the MCA Blue and jump straight into the X range. Problem with the blue range is that Josh and the team refuse to run stiffer springs on then due to the damper limitations so if you intend to track you'll end up with a suspension setup that is way too soft and pitch, roll all over the place. FWIW I am running 10/7 kg springs in my R33 shit box and that to me on Wakefield is boarder line too soft. Yes some will say correct it with anti-roll bars to stop the roll etc. But what you end up with is a car that's extremely snappy as there is lack of lean and naturally the inner turning wheel will try and move the same way the outer wheel is.
  2. Whenever my car is back on the road take it for a spin, I run them
  3. Don't do it man You'll hear me go "told you so" again. If budget is a criterion, I suggest BC BR coil overs. if you can stretch the budget a little MCA X-R would be perfect for road/track use
  4. Alternatively if you're on a budget and your bores are still good, your crank is still in good shape I just find a used set of NEO pistons/rods/bearings. I have a set of 6x NEO Pistons/Rods/Bearings from a 120xxx automatic Stagea up for sale if you're interested? This will compliment your NEO head and budget.
  5. I have a spare starter from a RB25 (I assume RB26 same?)
  6. I have N1 gears from a NEO motor if anyone wants them cheap.. will swap for a 6 pack of decent beer.
  7. I said you could borrow it before lolol.. I thought I could use them on the NEO head but it doesn't fit
  8. Bad tuner. Needs more timing when cold and more fuel. Also you'll need more duty on the idle control valve. You will need more cranking fuel and a bit of post start fuel. What ECU? Send me your map.
  9. If you want DBA then PM me
  10. swap entire plenum from R33 onto the NEO.. then swap pins on the CAS In terms of coils, you could use the R33 harness on the NEO head but the wiring will be messy using the NEO coils.. however if you use the NEO coil packs and NEO coil pack harness it plugs straight intot eh R33 loom NEO coils and NEO harness are essentially and schematically the same shit.. just the mounting tabs are different and the NEO are all aligned in 1x direction where as the R33 RB25 is all over the shop like a hooker on meth, thus the coil pack harness/loom (whatever you call it) have different length leads.
  11. How about hose from fmic to your turbo with no controller? Start there then work from there.
  12. Problem(s) could be from either the Superspark coils (which are rubbish, sorry to be blunt) or faulty OEM ones. Best to get Splitfire ones or go Yaris conversion or LS conversion coils.
  13. See if your voltage drops as RPM increases, just log it in the halal-tech. Add more dwell man, less will misfire, I have 3.5ms in the midrange for mine. I'll screen grab my table for reference when I'm home.
  14. Run more dwell till they melt LOL. Mine is at 3.5ms in the midrange tapering down to about 2.2ms up top No misfires these days
  15. Nistune is the best, especially with the feature pack and a R35 AFM
  16. I can only assume you upped the compression with the NEO head and kept the same tune for the original head/motor combo. NEO heads have much smaller combustion chamber volume and when used with stock R33 pistons you've efficiently upped the compression. Throw in a stock motor, cheapest option for you since you're after such little power.
  17. OEM coil pack harness no longer for sale. Turns out the R34 NEO and R33 will work however the plug lengths are incorrect as the coil orientation is different. Schematically the harnesses are identical. Now for sale is my Wiring Specialties R33 RB25DET S2 coil pack harness. This is about 1.5 - 2 years old or so. $100
  18. For anyone reading and thinking of getting a competition clutch, go Google Competition Clutch Explode, Competition Clutch Problems, issues etc. If you're on a budget and poor like most of us, get a NPC 10" Carbotic clutch. Pedal effort is softer than a stock clutch and there's about 1.7 to 1.8 tonnes of clamping force. Yes they may be Exedy parts in those clutches but they're completely different to your standard Exedy Sports range clutches. If you have coin go Nismo Twin
  19. US edition of anything isn't a good thing lol. Just remember you'll need the bolts from a R34 GT-t when you install them. The caliper bolts from a 350Z is too long. I think for you Trump lovers FRsport or Z1Motorsport have the correct bolts for sale.
  20. You would think so but Australia being Australia it's state based. Same reason why each state's registration and licensing system/process is different. TBH it's bs, but it is what it is and I can't change anything lol.
