  1. that rule applies to VIC only. In NSW any mod is a defect.
  2. Proves RB20s are gay Good work man!
  3. http://www.trak-life.com/diy-350z-brembo-brakes-conversion-nissan-skyline-r33-gts-t-gts-gts-4/ You're welcome Google search 1st page.
  4. owner on FB said he used anti-lag LOL
  5. It's called "ACCELER." and the screen looks like this.. unfortunately it's upside down (got it off Google). You will need a wideband and see what the AFR is like when you jab the throttle vs. RPM. Of course too rich will stumble, too lean will stumble. Column 1 = RPM Column 2 = how much fuel in ms Column 3 = how long in ms Because you're running larger injectors than stock, I would say reduce the amount in column 2 by the percentage of your injector size increase. So OEM is 370cc right? now you have 1000cc or so.. that means you would only need 37% of the original throttle pump values. Play around with it, however you will need a wideband.
  6. plumb back your cam breathers
  7. Yep, you'll reduce exhaust back pressure, make more power, less things glowing on the hot side. I did that only mod and with the same timing map, same boost, same turbo (except it was a BB centre this time round, same comp/turbine wheel) and made extra 20kW off the bat.
  8. And didn't you lift a head or blow your motor? Squeezing all that pressure into a tiny T3 flange, then releasing all that pressure after the restriction is counter intuitive. That's why as soon as people go to high mounts they pick up power but it's not so much the high mount it's more so the exhaust gasses be bleed off before the collector. Boost control is subjective, and your 6tits probably doesn't have twin gates off it or the merge between both scrolls to the gate was poor. If you ever have an exhaust pressure sensor or gauge on the collector you'll understand.
  9. When you let the motor breathe of cause it will become more efficient. Remember it's just a big bad air pump, air in, air out. Now this is why the twin boys have issues, massive front wheels and pea sized turbine side and wonder why they are laggy, have heat management issues and of course lift heads lol. If you're on a budget modify the stock manifold so you essential have a "twin scroll-ish" manifold. Works wonders, I picked up 40kW purely from that - made 372 Real Australian kW on a Mainline dyno.
  10. Could be the Z32 incorrectly interpreting knock too and you're jumping into the knock map. I'm assuming the car is running a Nistune? Also a bit too rich and lastly I suggest upgrading to better ignition coils.
  11. Your throttle enrichment table isn't setup correctly.
  12. FS [SYD]: Splitfire Coilpacks w/ Box | Coilpack harness | Coilpack bracket & bolts Hey Girls and Guys! So you may know or probably not know - I bought a NEO motor. This means majority of my R33 RB25DET stuff is pretty much useless on this motor. I have a wonderful load of items for sale for such a lucky person! No more misfires, no more coloured coilpacks that aren't blue dropping out and causing ECU outputs to short circuit or ECUs to shut down. These are the real deal, no bullshit Splitfire SF-DIS-005 Coilpacks! You're thinking, this guy actually kept the original box? yeah I sure did! I always wanted to sell them and convert to Yaris coilpacks one day, but that "one day" turned out to be 4 years! Anyhow, enough random bullshit this is the break down: $300 - Splitfire Coilpacks with the original packaging $50 - OEM Nissan quality coilpack harness, no cracked clips! $50 OEM Nissan quality coilpack harness for RB25DET motors (long live the VCT!) Because I am Asian, there will always be a best pry cash deal. I do speshcal pry, $350 you tek de lot - kesh only. Price: $350 the lot Fitment: ECR33 S1.5/2 (no ignitor pack) and BNR34 Location: Canley Vale, NSW I will only post if you direct deposit - no PayPal because there are too many dodgy scammers out there. Pick up > Post.
  13. I prefer Coyote 5.0L because quad cam, higher revving than that LS dinotech
  14. Nistune it, then highlight the timing map on the knock cells and press 'K'.
  15. I personally wouldn't do it off the housing either for obvious reasons. The exhaust pressure would be through the roof by the time it is bleed post collector at the housing side. You would want to run the gate off the stock manifold and preserve the stock divider as much as possible to reduce interference between the exhaust pulses. I went from gate off housing to gate onto manifold and picked up ~20kW with the same timing map. Then rammed in more timing and the motor happily kept making more power. Eventually ended up making an additional 40kW with essentially the same turbo (just ball bearing centre instead of journal, same compressor wheel, same turbine wheel).
  16. Come to my mate's track day, 18th September at Wakefield Park. You're already done (compared to mine, I don't even know where the fk Proform Engine guys are - not getting back to me phone is off).
  17. nice man, nah I fixed all that quick smart when I installed the wallah-bro 460L
  18. FS [Syd]: Stock NEO Cams, Stock NEO Studs, Stock NEO Valve Springs & Retainers - Cheaper than a few smashed avos on toast Howdy! Have some parts from my shit box build's shit box motor. Stock RB25DET NEO Cams (IN/EX) Stock RB25DET NEO Valve Springs & Retainers Stock RB25DET NEO Head Bolts (aka head studs) Take the lot for $100 or I am happy to swap for a bottle of either: Hibiki Master's Select Hibiki Harmony Hakashu (no age) Chinta NIkka Coffey 2x Nikka from the barrel or any Japanese Whiskey of higher value than those mentioned I'm located in Canley Vale, NSW 2166 Cheers, Johnny
  19. Could be your knock sensors playing up and you're falling into the knock maps of the stock ECU... Get a new ECU or a Nistune, add more boost. 10psi stock RB20DET won't move anywhere.. even more boost you'll still get spanked by a MK5/MK6 VW Golf GTI
  20. oh yeah you're right, it's not the OEM lid, does it still retain that "jet pump" whatever it's called to syphon the fuel from the other half of the tank? The previous dick head or whoever cocked around with my fuel tank prior to me owning it removed the "jet pump" and I had massive issues with fuel surging/starvation under 1/3 of a tank LOL.
  21. Fuuark attention to detail it's on point aye! Do love what they did with the fuel lid, loads of dremel time I would imagine!
  22. I got it to about 13.5:1, any leaner and it stumbles a little. Will play more with it once he feeds his wideband's simulated narrowband channel back into the ECU. His stock O2 was cactus, voltages were between 0.02 to 0.05 and the short term and long term fuel trims were off their chops - so I just disabled the feedback for now. Someone may comment why the tune is dead shit rich, it's because the tune isn't finished yet - rest assure once everything is kicking it will be a tiny bit leaner (just a tiny bit).
  23. WOOHOO!! Can't wait till we put it back on the rollers on flex
