Nismo R35 Fuel Rail for RB26

Too small, waste of time and waste of money. TBH -
I do, he is me lol. Like Scarface once said, I trust me lol. My limiter has a soft cut at 7400rpm followed by a hard cut at 7700rpm with timing pulled before it hits the limiter.
-
Yeah looks like I'll get the Nitto pump, it's only a bee's dick more than the Spool spline billet gears and a N1 Oil Pump housing. I was trying to make the motor bullet proof, and that means rev limiter abuse proof like 1JZ and 2JZ, but I've read that the poor harmonics of the RB crank itself is enough to cause the crank snout to move and exceed it's normal circular travel cause any form of spline driven pump to misalign and go chomp. "Apparently" through Facebook whispers Nitto did the whole spline drive thing and abandoned it because it worked out more reliable keeping that Nissan oil pump drive style.
-
Yeah I had a good chat to Piggaz about it, looks like I'll run the restrictors still. Funny it seems people are against running the spline driven pump gears say there isn't enough "movement" for slight crank imperfections and could chew up the pump. sigh.....

Funny you say that, I own a RB25 but mainly tune SR20s lol. Rebuild plans so far, still indecisive about a few items: Spool rebuild kit with the CP Pistons, Spool Sump, Camtech 264 mini-brappers, Performance Springs Now the indecisive items: Spool spline oil pump gears with an N1 pump, and Spool head drain. Also my thoughts, if I run the head drain there wouldn't real need to run oil restrictor right? or wrong?

No need, less back pressure is a good thing, means motor will be more efficient -
Man these low km RB25s are less reliable than a VW motor. Part of me is saying a C63 AMG is more reliable lol
-
Because it means I will need to cut my dump/external plumb back and extend it to suit. Too much work needed, I rather a super reliable RB25 than a 300000km RB30. Spent about 15 minutes taking off the ancillaries and engine mount brackets blah blah blah. They now sit on a shelf.

Venom 100 cell is good, but go the 5" body. The 4" body seems a little on the restrictive side -

Better cooler, boost, less timing, more fuel (and nitrous). -
I tune plenty of SRs, you definitely need some cams.. the OEM ones nose over way too early. Poncams are the best option and run OEM springs with not too much boost and you'll be ok. If I were you, I would sell that GT2871 fan boy turbo and get yourself a SS1.5 unit from Hypergear Turbos with the upgrades ball bearing core or a GTX2867R if you prefer the Garrett stuff. The GT2871 with Poncams will hit that 250kW mark but it's boring/laggy for what it is.. You won't get it all on till about close to 4000rpm and once you do get there you'll just fry tyres. I recently did a S15 with just ARP headstuds, Tomei Poncams/Springs and she happily makes 270kW+ on E85 however we are having some valve float issues with more than 1.6bar of boost. I suspect it will go into the 300kWs if we can get more boost into it. This is with a GTX2867R and it's all in by 3700rpm

I reckon go full flex, I love it.. pour whatever you feel like into the motor.. I drive down to Wakefield on 98 (great economy) do a few warm up laps to get the 98 tank down then fill it up with E85 for real time attack. Then when it's home time pour/blend whatever fuel I can find for the trip home. Also, more boost.. tons more. Plazmaman stop making those piping kits. I've asked for someone before, although it's listed on their website. The stock SMIC piping is horrible for flow..Ditch as much of it as you can. -
Yeah saw that, but fuuark it I'm aiming for the stars now lolol..I'll end up blowing up that motor too. Just waiting on share prices to climb a little more then I'll sell and buy all the guts.

I can arrange a Plazmaman Cooler for a bit less than most resellers. A cheat solution to poor FMICs is E85 or WMI. -
Off with her head, as per the queen's orders. Cylinders 1 and 6 looks like they've had a chance to chew up and spit out metal bits. Slight scoring of the bore in cylinder 1. Sump plug has grew a metal Christmas tree, no chunks of metal this time round. Hectics..
