Stage 3 flywheel with Stage 7 pressure plate and Stage 11 friction plate...

Ahhh Jez tuned it, would say the tune is pretty decent and he stopped pushing it further because it's a stock R33 motor with the stock head gasket. I've found mine started to push coolant about 340kW and at 370kW it would push so much air into the coolant system and I'll lose about 2 to 3L of coolant per track day haha. I suggest doing the head gasket at the very least before pushing it further.

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
^ I like the runner design, looks awesome... doe it clear all the ancillaries ? -
I reckon get a Italia 458

Evo 5 seats and onwards don't have the mechanism anymore as those Recaros were specifically made for Evos where as the older ones were just generic SR2 (SR3?) Recaros.

I'm running (well was) the Hypergear SS2 with the ceramic BB centre, happen to be a prototype turbo too lol.. probably why it exploded when I ran stupid amounts of boost through it. The funny thing was it kept making power, so I kept adding boost. You can control boost via the Halaltech very well if you've setup the base duty vs. boost target table correctly then enable the closed loop. I've done this on 2x cars already and boost control is fantastic. Of course there are a few tricks but a decent tuner should know what to do in terms of boost oscillation etc. but that costs dyno time, which workshops cbf spending time on.

R33 K-sport brake kit fitment
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to hardsteppa's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Paid with PayPal? if so dispute it.. If not, and K Sport dick you around just give up and drill your hubs out. R32, R33 are 12mm R34, 350Z are 14mm -
Add more boost.. ring lands won't blow if you limit torque. Also spray more fuel at peak torque to keep the cylinder temperatures down and pump in more timing as torque decays.. I think the excess cylinder temps cause the rings to expand then smash the ring lands not so much the pressure/force. Because you even hear of people smashing ring lands with cars making 250kW. To put things into perspective, I've been thrashing the shit out of my car with about 1.8bar through the motor on the track and it's yet to go boom LOL... but like I said, I run very low timing at peak torque and spray heaps of fuel to the point it is about to misfire... but, the car is happy and the only thing that has died is the stock 300 000km head gasket and the turbo's arse end exploding.

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I must be doing it wrong then because my car with a wastegate off the manifold that goes to countless track days should be on fire by now. -
Golf GTi with basic basic mods would destroy a mild GTt GTSt on the straight, around corners and even at picking up the slarts... Yes Golf R over the GTI, but I did say price ascending order lol.

RB25 GTST OEM FPR flow capacity?
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Torques's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
And if you ever put a fuel pressure sensor and monitor the oem fuel pressure I reckon it's going to be all over the shop with larger fuel systems... you'll run into fuel pulsation issues -
I've had one on my car, Hypergear sent it to me Dec 2015... day and night difference with transient response compared to their journal bearing offering... Have taken a few SAU members for a spin and a few have driven it themselves... no BOV as well and it's still coming off/on/off/on on boost fairly comparable to say a Garett GTX.
-
feel free to ignore, but here are my suggestions (in price order): Golf GTi EVO X Golf R C63 AMG E63 AMG

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
LOL...what? come on man -
never a stupid question I'm running a cheap shit bok HDi core (pretty much Hybrid) their original China 10000000x special... intake temperatures are horrendous, at 1.8bar of boost I'm logging down over 60 degrees with ambient dyno room temps of 20 degrees... nevertheless E85 is the best band aid in the world! Will be upgrading to a better Plazmaman core one day, ironically I sell them but don't use them.
-
PM me if you need prices, have gotten many Plaz coolers for several SAU boys in the past
-
Two years onwards on E85 and sometimes 98RON and the injectors are tips are spotless... nevertheless will get them cleaned and flow tested just for science. Since the upgrade, I've fitted a Radium Fuel Pulsation Damper (FPD) as well as upgraded to a Turbosmart FPR1200 to stabilise fuel pressure and pulsations/oscillations. Has made a significant difference in the VE table, I'm now able to smooth it out where as before it had certain holes in it where it needed heaps of fuel.

Worlds Biggest Low Mount.... With Pics

shots fired! -
So since we moved into this townhouse I've had to make do without a double garage and no tool wall This means all my tools are in boxes, a caddy, all in their tool blow moulds instead of nicely hung up on the wall which provides easy access. Each time doing anything small or large on the car meant 5 minutes of unboxing shit and leaving it askew all over the place. This makes for one angry Dose Pipe. Missus detected a problem and she delivered on this for Christmas, 11/10 effort. (yep turbo still on the ground, been too lazy and busy and be lazy to wrap it up and send it back to @hyper-gear sorry Tao!)
-
Yep, it's been having a sads on the ground for a week. it's not getting an EFR as it costs as much as the siet bok Dose wise, should be a least a 82% increase, might need to change my alias to Sutututututututututu
