  1. run as much boost as you need.. it's not boost that's the limiting factor you need to worry about IAT, EGT, cylinder pressure, knock, etc...
  2. Single Turbo Twin Scroll, if poor get Garett GTX, if rich BW EFR.
  3. I thought you said you went through the dyno thread and this thread, didn't look hard enough eh? LOL here: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-hiflow-service-continued/page-583#entry7731137 and http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55845-rb25-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/page-54#entry7731169 Oh yez.. plus a video haha:
  4. Yeah ok, get Nistune with feature pack. Get flex fuel happening and setup launch control. Win for cheap.
  5. SS2 or the new G3SAT will do it.. I make about 240kW at 4k and near 7k it's at 370kW
  6. stock R33, with a long as fk over the radiator FMIC piping kit will dose mad... done
  7. each to their own I guess, I still think all R33s are ugly.. but I love them.. just like how people have yellow VL commodores but in their eyes they're beautiful.. now that's a bad analogy lol
  8. R34 GT-R is wider visually and mechanically
  9. All R32/33/34 GTS-(t/4)/GT-(t/4/v) are ugly Out of the RB powered cars only the R34 GT-R looks the best, which I can't afford hence own an awful looking R33 GTS-t.. I own it purely for noise, performance and some what better handling/looks than a Commodore. If a S15 had a RB25DET NEO and RB box factory I would own that instead... yes the idea of a conversion ran through my mind many times.. but I don't have the time to do it nor the space now unfortunately.
  10. Yes Does PowerFC have engine protection, launch control, flex, traction control, wideband close loop, ra ra ra ? Even a Nistune is better, I heart Nistune
  11. Adaptronic, call it a day.. I even have base maps ready to go. Whatever you do, don't buy an Adaptronic and use the one preloaded one.. it's a horrible, horrible map.. all the enrichment values are wrong, temp sensor calibrations are wrong, cranking tables are wrong lol.. Then again, it's cheap for a reason.. but once you work it well.. it's a solid ECU
  12. you're 2nd in line haha... Let's see if Kemp grabs them by tmr morning.
  13. waiting on James from ECK to make a kit for the RB.. hopefully I can get it below trade price for testing
  14. What other tyres do you see coming close to their performance? I wouldn't mind something I can drive to and from the track with so I don't need to swap wheels.
  15. Thanks Duncan for the mature response, we can all agree Z221 tyres are brilliant however my mate says he finds they lose their performance dramatically after the 3rd or 4th track day. Harry, you should get a better car you'll do better times.
  16. Harros, Yes you don't get one, but 2x 3.5" STAINLESS STEEL v-band clamp sets...! Bought them, fabricator for my exhaust system forgot to use... fails, was still in boot of car. LOL Price: $70 for both Location: Canley Vale, NSW, 2166 Post: Yeah Ok, extra $8.95 will do
  17. I read the same, you pretty much insinuated NT01 tyres perform just as good as Federal 595 SS. Anyhow each to their own. I'm happy with my NT01 tyres, I'm happy with the price and also few other guys I track with are happy with them. If I had more money, and had z221 per track day then sure why not, but at the end of the day I prefer not to kill my limited cash on fancy tyres that are useful for about 2 track days. I don't cry over a bad lap time, I'm purely there to have fun and enjoy driving my shit box beyond its limits.
  18. You really don't like Nitto eh? I know Z221 are better but for the price NT01 tyres are good enough for most of us and don't degrade as fast as Z221 which go rock hard after 3 to 4 track days
  19. Well I have a friend and his brother (share car) that have gone from 595 RS-R on a 180SX to NT01s (same size, same everything) and managed 3 seconds better, tipping into the 1m07s mark - purely from a tyre change. So yeah.
  20. Interesting.. I went from Nitto Invo & Federal 595 RS-R to NT01 and jumped like 2.5 seconds around Wakefield
