  1. Give Tao a call or e-mail him directly..he's pretty good at replying, just at weird hours when he's not on the tools.
  2. I judge them on how much they can dose
  3. awwwwwwwwwwwwww.... why did you get YJ? They're ok as stock replacements, but once you start feeding boost and more dwell into the coils you end up with issues.
  4. apparently I've been told that all you need are good brake lines and good brake fluid to stop brake fade
  5. Federal 595 SS are rubbish. You're in Japan, get Advan Neova tyres, should be cheap as chips for you. A 1/1.5/2 way mechanical diff will help put the power down, your stock viscous rubbish will end up splitting the torque 90/10 instead of 50/50 like a mechanical diff
  6. You're finally taking out advice, also you can use the RB20DET engine harness fine, however you need to swap 2x injector pins and run a VCT trigger wore separately into the engine bay. Just use the RB25 sensors spliced into the RB20DET loom.
  7. Only cometic thing on my car and other cars I work on are exhaust manifold gaskets lol. Everything else is Tomei. Ironic I own a RB but know more about SRs
  8. SR20DET ones have many issues, many just go Tomei ones. However not sure if that applies to RB motors.
  9. Eh? Anyhow see if the motor can dose mad, if so worth buying to replace the RB20DET
  10. Car battery, jumper leads to the starter motor and compression test it. Then compression test again with 5ml of oil in each cylinder and record results If they're all equal with a delta of 10psi between each cylinder then it will be fine.
  11. Much sads, merging the screamer back into the exhaust system and getting a 3.5" dump pipe because broscience says 3" isn't big enough lol
  12. Anyone want my modded SS2 rear housing? 45mm v-band for gate & 3" v-band for exhaust.. no more homo 5x bolt rubbish http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/464471-fs-syd-hypergear-ss2-external-gate-housing-with-45mm-v-band-outlet-for-gate-3-rear-outlet-scotty-nm35-mod/
  13. Matt from Nistune and Pete from PLMS are awesome guys, same goes with Andy from Adaptronic. Both of which I use and recommend to all my friends.
  14. New fabricator for me, Impossible Fabrication at Moorebank. Used them for the track 180sx and very happy with the job, fast, decent priced and great to deal with. Just dropped off my shit box R33 for a 3.5" dump and modding my cat to 3.5" also no more screamer
  15. Wouldn't pay that kind of silly money, too expensive. Odometer wound back for sure, judging by the photos there's too much wear on the steering wheel, carpet, seat, door trim, etc. A car with that "apparent" kms would look much different. But hey, if you want to cook 13k on a 20 year old R33 then ignore what I just said
  16. Imagine those pads with stock 296mm R33 brakes... horrific! I too now sport 350Z / R34 Brembos, going out 30th May to really test them out
  17. that's probably why it's popping and farting more unfortunately
  18. also as long as your engine harness is from a RB25 you'll be fine. if you're using a R32 engine harness you'll need to swap 2x injector pins and run a VCT trigger into the engine bay
  19. That's pretty lucky then, because everyone else I personally know and race with all have used A1RM, all hate them, all have had brake fade, and half of them crumbled their pads. I personally hate them, but I hate Bendix pads even more.
  20. Skyline Auto Works, speak to Ricky.. he's an old sau boy
  21. It you're running an aftermarket ecu, just enable the fuel cut on decel earlier.. There's a lag time which allows fuel to be injected after TPS of 0% the lower you set it, the less fuel is injected on decel reducing the over run crackle/farts/pops another way is to introduce another resonator, muffler, etc.
  22. Ahh shit and I forgot Also car is at the fab shop for some sexing up lol
  23. Will fit in a R34 GTR though lol
