  1. It's not the boost dimension that dictates if a it's safe or not. Things such as afr, timing, intake air temp, fuel quality etc. All have a part in this. Also that throttle phenomenon you're experience is a poorly defined throttle pump table in the haltech, seems like the person or shop who has did the tune paid zero attention to that table.
  2. Why not a single R35 AFM?
  3. Run a Turbosmart BOV and trick up some hose to fit the stock return. Unless you're able to get a flange for the stock BOV and get them to weld it into the stock location. The team there are happy to do small customisations here and there as part of the deal. Just nothing mental, or don't run BOV
  4. Plazmaman piping, done.
  5. the 2nd set of bolts/nuts will go through the subframe to give the bracket rigidity.. if it was only 1x per side it will move all over the place.
  6. HKS2540 is a horrible turbo search, search search
  7. SARD injectors "can" idle mad... just run 2bar base pressure and up the duty cycle, bitch will idle for dayzzzzzzz LOL
  8. + wideband 02 feedback + 2-step, launch + flex + engine protection + no MAF + hectic software + no need for data logit box shit + usb plug wooooo, serial is homo + much much more, we'll even included a set of steak knives.
  9. were they CNG injectors? if so.. partly why I have no issues with Nistune with stock to 1250cc injectors on 98 or E85... easiest ECU to get shit to boogie... also TP Cut.. very goose, PowerFC no haz.
  10. LOL.. did you see my forsale thread on Driftsales? Sold it in 3 days.. got an adaptronic for $650.. win x 10 with $50 for beer
  11. means it makes awesome suuuuuu tutututuutututu *inserts pigeons*... but it's a boring outdated turbo that belongs in a museum
  12. I didn't put shit on it? better value for money out there
  13. HKS 2535 doses hard, had one back in my younger years. Better dose, shitter turbo I've learnt LOL
  14. Been there done that, dinosaur turbo I used back in 2007. Billet people, billet people!
  15. I use a variety of ECUs, tune them setup them up etc. I use a budget no frills Adaptronic where as I tell others to get Haltech. But like my previous comment, if you're out on the market for a "replacement" ECU you must be pretty daft to go buy a PowerFC.. given for less money you can get a Nistune with a R35 or similar AFM and have flex support, launch control and the ability for water spray output (if you use the fan relay output).
  16. Nistune has more features than PowerFC Nistune coupled with a HPX/R35 AFM variety is tits. /thread
  17. yeah probably because of his experience with the older Haltech E8, E6x, etc.. they're shit. The newer Haltechs are amazeballs
  18. To separate the tie rod and the ball joint? "normally" I would use a ball joint separator, but in this instance (because I wasn't planning on re using anything) a chisel a mallet came out hahaha The ball joint press was a eChina kit from eGay, $60 delivered I believe. I got the TAS kit, which is probably just eChina lol
  19. Using one atm, can't fault it. Voltages have been rock solid. I went through 2x used R33 alternators, all had the same issue. Idles at 13.8, rev it and it drops to like 12v thus the constant misfiring. Bought a brand new CS one for less than the price of reconditioning the OEM alternator and it has been good (so far).
  20. PowerFC fan boy, used it, tuned several, got rid of it. Even got rid of a D-Jetro out of a track 180SX I'm building and tuning. Sold that dinosaur egg for the price of an Adaptronic ECU which has flex support, engine protection, wideband feedback, traction control, anti lag ra ra ra. Don't see the PowerFC doing that. And for the record Nistune > PowerFC.. I have a soft spot for Nistune. Basic, yet elegant not to mention flex support out of the box too.. don't see powerfc with that. Hey if you already have a powerfc use it, but if you're on the market for something you must be totally daft to buy one.
  21. I haz guide on trak-life.com brah!!! Angle grind, then press out
  22. Nice transformation, main reason your tyres were so flogged is because of your worn out hicas crap, once you get that hicas eliminator on you'll get better control of the car and also less tyre wear. Are you running a proper mechanical diff? If not add that to the list lol
