Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to klutched's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations

Sourcing A Gtr Starter Motor
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to BoostedBarge's topic in General Maintenance
Don't quote me on this, but a R33 GTS(-t) starter motor "should" bolt straight up -
Bigger Radiator - Car Not Reaching Operating Temp
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to kingtube69's topic in General Maintenance
also make sure the little jiggly pin is pointing upwards, i.e. highest point in the housing.. if it is in the wrong way you'll have massive air pockets before the thermostat opens -
Well if you run them lower boost it will be fine, till you can afford a new motor... but they like loads of boost to be efficient

Brake Pads Users Ratings Guide

Hi Jake, Anything Bendix is junk... sorry but I've used enough of their junk across any cars and hate it. Just buy Nulon Super Dot 4 - that's fine, I use this in my track car, no need for fancy stuff for a street car.. at $9 a bottle or so, can't go wrong. Get EBC Red OR Intima SR or Project Mu NS400, if you did more track days I would have recommended Project Mu HC800 - however they squeal and make heaps of dust so no lol -

Rb25det Best Performance
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to cefiro_ghost's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I reckon get the ATR43 SAT turbo.. it's bigger than the SS2.. the SS2 has a rough compressor exducer of 71mm, with extended tips you could say it's a 73mm exducer or so. Since you're only on Premium Unleaded and NOT E85. -
new turbo

Bigger Radiator - Car Not Reaching Operating Temp
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to kingtube69's topic in General Maintenance
Get a new thermostat, they're so cheap any how... also could be an air pocket too -
ooooooooooooooo now you're fuarked LOL... that turbo you have will flow stupid numbers... however your motor will go BANG!

Get one as close as your targeted boost as possible. The turbosmart dual port ones are great, however if money doesn't rain from the heavens for you the kingugawa / mambatek ones are pretty good too.

Rb25det Best Performance
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to cefiro_ghost's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
go .82 rear I had their older circa. 2012 SS2 turbo on the stock manifold and an external gate welded off the rear housing and it managed to shit out 325kW on E85 with 24psi tapering down to about 22psi up top. I now run the new Hypergear SS2 .82 albeit has the Ceramic BB centre and the gate is now on the manifold... It's going back on the dyno again in a few weeks as the tune needs to be worked on as the turbo flows more air. -
Jordy's R34 Gtt
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Jordy32's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Skylines are like a crack/meth addiction... the only detox is a free C63 AMG which will never happen LOL -
if it doesn't misfire then all good.. however it's recommended dwell drops as RPM increases.

Suuuuuuuuuuuutututuututuuuuuuuuuuuuu dose is life. Harro betches, Up for sale is my old 3" cat back exhaust which has been on my car for a while. It has gone through a few changes over my ownership. Started off stock with the stupid taper in the resonator...so I chopped it off and replaced it with a 3" straight through resonator. 3x weeks later, I wanted it even more quiet so I proceeded with adding a 3" mid muffler. It really shut things up. I can now have long d&ms in the car with the missus whilst listening to smooth FM without any hint of drone or bullshit......... until I crack the gate. So what are you getting? R33 GTS(-t) 3" Fujitsubo Cat Back Exhaust with: 3" X-Force Straight through Resonator 3" X-Force Straight through Mid Muffler Bolts/nuts for the rear section A part of the shit box's legacy of choppage If that excites you enough, and you want a car that is actually quiet, fun to drive and not a total cop magnet.. then this is the exhaust for you. Condition: Decent, a few grazes but no dents on mufflers or resonator, however a slight decent on the rear piping. Also 1x pin hole on the last bend as per the photo. Location: Canley Vale, NSW Price: $239.95 (that means $200 firm)

Plazmaman Manifold Before / After Dyno Anyone ?
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Torques's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
^ if money permits, go back to the stock runners and run a Plazmaman plenum.. you'll gain some more low down as you're using the OEM runners. If you want in future, send me a PM I can get Plazmaman gear at decent prices. -

Your 3x options of turbos all suck.. Here's my recommendation (in no particular order) GTX3071R GTX3076R GTX3576R Borg Warner EFR6758 Borg Warner EFR7064 Borg Warner EFR7670 Hypergear SS2 Ceramic Bear Balling Hypergear ATR43 SAT -
Take it to Chequered Tuning, Trent will sort you out.. he knows his schizzle. That looks like a GTX3582... which is freaking huge LOL... will make north of 450kW....

Did you just drill the cap and fed electrical bulk heads to it?
