hahahah yes le siet bok R33 decided to be a grown up and stealth up the shitty car. -
Poor in 5L of e85 if you're concerned
-
I did that, didn't like it.. they don't like low RPM.. voltage drops pretty quick at about 700rpm. I pulled it out and went a Circuit Sports 90AMP one from frsport - couldn't be happier
-
hahah yep.. I launched the mid muffler and the front section of the pipe work.. Tried that trick you said, the internal tube has been tacked into the meshing inside the muffler... chopped off the entire tip and all, wouldn't budge. I'm going to get a slide hammer and go to town with it.. it no luck, I'm throwing that muffler.

[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
try dropping some timing as you come on boost, helps get the EGTs a little hotter which helps gets the turbo to boogie -
The Build Of The Beast
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Hadouken's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
You can't deny EVOs are light years ahead of the R32/33/34 in terms of performance. They thought of twin scroll back in mid 90s, where as Nissan continued to use twin turbos which have been proven over and over again how inefficient it can be, imagine if Nissan ever released a factory twin scroll single turbo GT-R. Because Nissan loves their open scroll turbos in twin forms so much they avoided the obvious twin scroll solution and made the VR38DETT motor LOL Now that Nissan partially owns Mitsubishi.. I wonder if there will ever be an Evolution Skyline LOL -
Washer Motor Solution R33
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to STARSKR33M's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
10/10 sik karnt I also had that problem, took it out soak it in WD40.. started working again lol -
Need to redo the wideband wiring, it's just there temporarily.. there isn't much room for it because of the le-hectic wastegate plumb back hahaha Mr EPA won't like it, but Mr EPA can do the gas test and dB test and I'll pass (well pretty sure I will) lol

Car is going on the rollers soon, just got my exhaust system modified again Car still runs a cat, still smells great and makes less pollution than any VW out there (jokes). However you see what I did there? haha It's 3.5" turbo back (all stainless), runs a 3.5" cat, 3.5" mid muffler, 3.5" resonator and a 3.5" rear muffler, however there's a stupid 3" restrictor or smaller right were the tip starts.. broscience tells me the EGTs are much lower there and the exhaust gases "should" be more dense.... let's see on the dyno. Yes that's right no more screamer.. on the up side the exhaust is so quiet all I hear is spool and dose Big shout out to Grub and his team @ Impossible Fabrications at Moorebank.. he built whatever I drew up/dreamt up and did it quickly and mind you cheap too!

Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Hadouken's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Oh siet, congrats you've moved from 80s tech to 00s tech. You've seen the light, all us RB owners are still blinded by darkness. (Better go mafless flex setup on stock ecu so you can run dose pipe, yes for the haters stock E9 ecu does flex, mafless, has launch and anti lag) -

Picked up my car tonight, and look who's in town? Haha -
try kudos motorsports, or taarks or ebay (yes OEM ones).. I find all online stores are cheaper than Nissan directly.

New Garrett Gtx2860R / 2863R / 2867R
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Gav's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
can you fit turbosmart ones down there? They recently borrowed an entire turbo (GTX2867 for ref) off one of the cars I've been working on to make up a bracket to fit the T28 housing to a turbosmart dual port #thankstraklife -
New Garrett Gtx2860R / 2863R / 2867R
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Gav's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
fuark that's going to punish your top end though..... set it back to 0/0 (or close) dw... comes on at 5k rpm, might as well spin it to 9k rpm like the Mine's GT-R.. That way you will have 4k worth of rpm to play with. -

captain obvious here again... want that response? twin scroll single turbo.. job done, less heat, less manifold:plenum pressure, less hoses, less so much shit... less lag -
Zeitronix Ethanol Content Analyser
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Swole's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
100% I bought an ECA kit with loom and everything, just minus the sensor. Picked up a conti sensor for $80 and hooked it all up All up $300 spent for brand new parts (mind you this is the ECA v1 about 2 years ago) -
Food For Thought Fuel System
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to MJTru's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Overkill but not done right tbh. That fuel cooler is in a horrid position with no cover or anything. A small rock or even a speed hump or coming off the track would smash that to bits and you'll have fuel and shit going everywhere. So you're not using your oem tank and using the fuel cell? Or you're using your oem tank and also using the fuel cell that runs to a surge tank? -
Zeitronix Ethanol Content Analyser
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Swole's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Pretty sure it is, Haltech ethanol sensor appears identical to a continental sensor which is what Zeitronix uses. -

Brand New Oem Coils On E85. Where's The Limit?
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to burn4005's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Check your alternator is making the correct voltages, I had a massive misfiring issue as well before and it turned out my alternator was dropping voltage as RPM increased. Swapped to a brand new alternator and misfire went away -

Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to taz2069's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
there's this: http://collinsadapters.com/index.php/rb26dett-rb25det-ka24de-to-350z-350zhr-370zransmission-adapter-plate.html but no one I know has used it b4.. in theory seems easy enough, however theory usually always translate to real-world. -
Confirmation On Replacing Rb20 Fuel Pump
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to lead foot's topic in General Maintenance
1. you can, just move the pump so it's nice and low down in the tank.. pretty straight forward once you pull out the cradle 2. yes 3. no, don't use it.. just securely clamp the pump to cradle with 1 or 2x stainless hose clamps -

those Series 2 350Z boxes, aka CD009 will happily hold 1000hp (or 700hp AU numbers, 30% yanky inflation). Chris Forsberg's twin turbo 370Z uses the stock box (essentially a CD009).. makes silly power and gets drifted off it's tits. Cheaper than the likes of OS Giken, PPG, PAR, etc... The cost of those mentioned gearsets will be a brand new box delivered to your doorstep. There are a few kits to slap them to SRs however nothing noted down for RBs -

Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to taz2069's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Do the 350 (make sure not the older one, the new one is CD009) or 370Z swap. Best box you could do, tell me how you go No one I personally know has done it, you can be the first haha
