  1. it performs mental on a SR20DET non-VCT so I can assume a RB20 will perform a little worse but still ok.. Let's get real, you want less lag and decent power? then a RB20 is not the answer.... even a B18C Honda motor with a turbo strapped to it makes more torque, more power, and provides better low down than a RB20.
  2. totally man, I reckon get a nice BW EFR on a Full Race manifold too..
  3. Make sure you get a decent Plazmaman plenum, a larger Q45 throttle body, and a Plazmaman 100mm Pro Series intercooler.
  4. GTX3071R, twin scroll, twin gates, 6boost twin scroll manifold, and as much boost as you can put into that motor.
  5. time for a sequential 6 speed to keep it in the happy zone.

  8. new turbo went on, was "load testing" lol.. added in more fuel into the VE map too, appears the new SS2 is flowing more air.. meaning it's making more powahzzzzzzzz Will hire a dyno once the exhaust is re-done
  9. Just buy a 370Z, strap on AAM twin turbo kit call it a day. Will be cheaper, faster, better, newer than a 300ZX or a junk RB motor
  10. update did exactly 112 km and used 24L of fuel city driving with the occasional squirt, E85 life
  11. why does every kid on their school holiday always dream of a RB26 in something not a GT-R... why not a RB25DET NEO which is actually a better motor.

  16. ^depends if the car is mainly street/track etc. I personally (if I had a GT-R) get a 1-way or helical front and a 1.5way rear
  17. then let's all have a sads... A stock 2JZ-GTE VVTi with say a GTX3582R bolted to it will out perform a mildly built RB30 lol... they will happily shit out 450kW on E85 stock the works.

  20. Really depends how cluey the tuna, I mean tuner is... You could really run that much if you balanced out EGTs vs IAT vs AFR. As you reach peak torque run considerably low timing to keep the cylinder pressure/temperatures down however this will also increase EGTs so you would need to richen it up to bring down the EGTs and also that would further more reduce cylinder temps/pressure... Then throw IAT into the mix, you would ideally need the IAT as low as possible to reduce/prevent any knock.
  21. I have an external housing with a 45mm gate flange welded on it if anyone wants to buy this turbo and convert it to external. Gate and dose is best
