  1. 100% I've see a few lazy tuners out there that tune cars without IAT on MAP sensor ECUs.. just 100% lazy and irresponsible.. imagine that person takes their car out late at night for a brap around the mountains... will be lean/knock city!
  2. That is extremely interesting, I myself went from A1RM to Intima SR and found them great.. 2x of my mates with EVOs also went from A1RM to Intima SR and found them better. Another track wh0re I go with on his 180SX went fro A1RM to Intima SR and found them great too albeit he runs R33 Brembos on his 180SX. You may have had a bad batch or so.
  3. my SS2 is lags, it's nothing nothing nothing then ALL IN like a rocket ship LOL these days I drop it back into 2nd on that last turn to keep the revs above 4k
  4. just plug it up all and drive there, if there's no ethanol then it won't do anything and also it's disabled by default because there's no input assignment
  5. I can send you my current flex map if you like, just don't use it on your car as it might / will not work lol. other than that, it's pretty straight forward.. use the compensation table to dial in more timing and fuel based on E85 percentage, not much is required on the fuel table as it assumes a blanket 30% more fuel. I did have to add a little at peak torque but for the rest of the ta le fuel was 0. However I did have to add 20% more on cold start and 8 for warm start.
  6. ooo got dyno charts of what these strange turbos produce?
  7. I'm always interested on why you use those turbos and a stock RB25DET manifold on a RB26 lol
  8. you don't value your life much do you? the front tyres do all the steering and braking I would rather good tyres up front and rat shit at the back.
  9. Go Intima SS, AFM A1RM or the likes are garbage. I know in the past there were many fan boys who supported QFM, I was one of them.. but these days there are other better pads to be had.
  10. make sure you run an IAT, do not be a lazy karnt and not run one.. because you'll lean out when the IAT/ambient air temp is low..
  11. yes, that's right.. well you might as well make the loom once so you're able to connect other stuff down the line... Like ON/OFF switch for launch Other Temp sensor, e.g. fuel temp OR oil temp (I've got fuel temp going to mine) You really only need the 8-pin connector for flex, as the IAT (if you're running one) goes on the ECU plug (for R32/33 and GT-Rs anyway).
  12. internal connectors you'll need from JayCar to plug up the flex sensor and other shit I believe the R34 is same as R33 Adaptronic, where youse CAS3 as the input for the flex sensor. HM3406 HM3408
  13. Oh yez, they're used. I took them out because I put ARP bolts in for more boost
  14. Hallo, Yeah I know they're TTY head bolts/studs but someone might want this to slap together a dirty NA motor OR some Frankenstein motor and might want it cheap instead of going on eBay and seeing wreckers list them for $100. Complete set, 14x bolts 14x washers. Location: Canley Vale, NSW 2166 Price: $20? or a nice 6 pack of Pale Ale Yewwwwwwwww
  15. I just want a little less lag as I track the car quite a bit at Wakefield (which is what I mainly use it for, does see the odd trip to the gym). I find with the SS2 I need to drop it down to 2nd around certain bends, then bam I have too much torque/power and it's dori & smoke LOL. However it's tits on the straight at Wakefield, I over take cars like no tomorrow haha.. here's a good clip of just that:
  16. ^ 100% I ordered X-Series Race coilovers with 10kg fronts and 7kg rears... I told them I wanna FSU at Wakefield and beat Hondas and don't care about ride quality on the street.
  17. all good, a helpful forum member sent me exactly what I needed however, best I don't post it due to copyright, etc.
  18. don't by used ones, you're setting yourself up for headaches and loads of swearing.
  19. the power bug, clearly we both have more than enough power but noooooo let's make more LOL
  20. just rev bash it a few times at 8k, she'll be right.. #onlyarb20
  21. Anyone? hahhaa.. some must have the abs ecu pin out for a GTS-t right?
  22. wow, that's insane! I've had the older DBA4000 (the older straight slots) crack on me but not like that! You're so lucky nothing happened!
  23. hory shet... makes me want to take out my SS2 and throw it in the bin and get the new version haha.. I'm pumping 24 psi into mine and the exhaust housing glows nice and red to only makeep 340kW. And by that time, my intake air temp is over 60 degrees lol
  24. NOS & weight reduction.. hack out the door frames like Honda owners.. and drill circles into the bumper bars.. (being serious)
  25. + chop hondas on the track, and gate past them.. they get mad envy
