  1. SRS Airbag module is separate to the engine ECU, so that's out of the question unfortunately. If you search online, I'm sure there are mobile airbag specialists that will come out to you
  2. Damn if you were In Sydney I could have helped. It's most likely the guy you paid removed the airbag then turn the keys to ignition. Now the airbag module expects an airbag, because there isn't one it has now recorded a fault on the SRS airbag module. Two ways to fix this, replace the module OR delete the fault/crash history on the module. Clearly the guy changing it had no idea on what he/she was doing.

  4. Nismo GT diffs are great for daily driven cars.. they allow you to adjust the torque when it engages too. I personally now run a 2 way KAAZ however the car is a street/track car and not daily driven.

  7. oil feed from block oil return to sump water in water out just follow the stock lines easy, I hope you've asked for Tao's optional oil feed line.. makes fitting much easier. I also bought the Kando dim sim yum cha braided water line set off eBay - makes fitting much easier than using the stock lines.

  10. Interesting.. might try that, I'm already running Splitfire coilpacks and they're near new.. I even coated them in dielectric grease... My loom does look like rat shit, looks like it was found in a bin LOL
  11. hrms... might try even smaller.. I'm getting slight misfire at 0.6mm.. Trent from STATUS advised trying 0.55mm but I'm not running that much boost to be blowing out.. only 1.6bar. Starting to think my CAS is playing up.

  13. it should fit, but depends on your cat back's pipe work.. I sold my HKS Super Dragger and now run a Fujitsubo and it's tucked up towards the passenger side - meaning no way a mid muffler could fit. However with the HKS Super Dragger there was plenty of room as the piping ran below the tailshaft. I bought it with the intention of fitting it to my HKS Super Dragger, to reduce the drone.. but then this Fujisubo cat back came up at such a good price I grabbed it
  14. Hi All, I bought this mid muffler literally this week with the intention of fitting it to my Skyline. Turns out there's no real way of cutting & shutting the resonator and fitting this on without rework of the pipe work. So really, my loss your gain (cheaper, in stock and pickup) I'm selling it a touch cheaper than eBay and remember I already have it - mean you can pick up at anytime and anyday without needing to wait.   16. Hey Trent, using an Adaptronic ECU with a Hypergear SS2 self tuned. I initially thought I had too much/too little timing and that caused the misfire but with less/flat timing around that area or more it still made no difference. Reference at 1.6bar 3900rpm onwards I've only got 16 degrees of timing and it increases to 18 by redline. Very lazy timing ramp. I've read and seen with the EVO boys when not enough timing is used with E85 their cars would misfire and or knock. I'm putting my bets against E85 having a slower burn hence it needs the advance to ignite properly. I'll definitely give the platinum plugs a try with that gap! However I do see you're recommending 7 heat range plugs, I'm still using 6 based on the understanding E85 doesn't like colder plugs. I do however have a spare set of BCPR7ES at home which I could try next (since I've already bought them) before buying the platinum plugs.

  18. With genuine OR decent aftermarket LS coils.. what spark gap & boost are you guys running? I'm running Splitfires with 0.65mm gap at 3.5ms dwell and they're blowing out at 1.5bar+ when warm.. I started off at only 2.8ms dwell but kept on adding more to stop the misfiring - however it seems to start misfiring after a 20 minute drive even with high dwell. I don't want to push them any higher in case they fail. I'm really considering converting to LS coils (that was the initial plan but got lazy).
