  1. PowwrFC doesn't have any form of R&R it's just the state of the cruise part of the map drinking fuel
  2. logically, if you're halting exhaust flow from a motor.. it would stall right?
  3. Maybe not on a large turbo I'm confident a stock turbo if you were to grab the shaft whilst the engine is running it would stall as there's not enough exhaust gases being relieved as the rear wheel is so small
  4. a turbo will NEVER stop spinning.. it's not possible, the motor would stall
  5. your motor is just scared of being replaced so it's behaving LOL it's sad we will never truly know the real KMs on these import unless it's come straight from Japan with authentic japanese deregistration & auction papers
  6. Mines probably got 300000 km on it too - judging from the body and car bushing etc. Clock says 140000 lol Has had a good hair cut from dealers and previous 50+ owners. I'm too scared to do a compression test on mine in fear of getting sad. It cops a beating on the track and regularly sees 1.5bar through the motor. It's going to pop soon I reckon lol
  7. Try and borrow a data logit kit from someone off the forum and do a log. That way you'll have in essence a data cube from which you can see what's happening. I sold my kit a while ago when I sold my old car however if you can borrow one I'm more than happy to help you diagnose your problems for a few beers lol
  8. That's the current ignition value being read off the map and the adjustment is a master trim - however temporary. That means you can add or subtract a blanket timing value on top.
  9. Probably be more coat effective to replace motor with a used lump with good compression since you're selling it anyway Say of you pull the head then find out your piston ring lands are smashed, there's more money gone. Sad reality isn't it? But these cars are old and they break
  10. One to the ecu looks like there may be a little coolant enrichment but nothing to upset your tune that much
  11. Looks fine to me however what are the temps read by the Powerfc once your car is at running temp?
  12. yes 3x elements.. 1x sensor (single wire) goes to your dash to show a useless needle 1x sensor (dual wire) resistance base, goes to your ECU to report back coolant temperature, this is also used to determine the enrichment values when the motor is cold. thermostat aids the car to get to the right operating temperature fast, R34 GT-t like to operate around 90 degrees, R33 GTS-t like to operate around 80 degrees - I once bought a R34 GT-t thermostat and installed it into my car.. worst move ever LOL.. now I run the correct one. The faster the car warms up, the less fuel it will used (based on coolant enrichment). In your PowerFC menu.. there's a table that shows you water temp vs. injection correction - this defines how much additional fuel is required in vacuum and 100kPa+.. column one will have a lower valve than column 2 naturally.
  13. yeah I do (again) lol... vaguely, was a fuel check valve? If I still had that S2 I could have let you borrow the CAS as it used the R34 NEO CAS - however my current shit box uses the metal CAS so can't really help
  14. If you can tune a PowerFC successfully you can tune anything. Adaptronic, Haltech, ViPec, Megasquirt - > all don't need fancy boxes and you don't need fancy licenses.. just plug up yoru USB and off you go
  15. make sure your key isn't set to Ignition or not in when you're playing around with the cable it could set your SRS Airbag module into fault mode
  16. not of same car - however you get the ideal
  17. Igniter grounded or plugged up?
  18. Fuel cut decel looks good, other screen is the master temp trim for ignition and injection. Next is to borrow a CAS and a timing gun
  19. Wonder if it has to do with the seatbelt pretensioners.. Did you get any cabling run in the RHS of your car? If so take off the trim and see of the lead to the seatbelt spindle is connected Newer cars all run pyrotechnics seatbelts and pop once the airbags goes off maybe it's not plugged in? But usually that would display the SRS airbag light
  20. Was being serious actually.. taken a few girls in the shit box and when they hear the bunch if the sphincter of the universes under the bonnet they all have had a giggle.. of course when I'm running the stock airbox you can hardly hear it but just recently decided a pod filter was a great idea LOL
  21. you missed a word "the" Serious note, they're not good pad for the track - although rated to whatever they are... I dare say those numbers could be made up. I've had several friends cook these pads with EVO Brembos and the pads crumbled Matty himself experienced this too, he was a believer in QFM A1RMs now he's not. I myself haven't faced the crumble fate, however came off the track at Wakefield after they faded half way through the session.. Since I've changed to cheap Intima SR pads and they seems to hold up much better - however I have a set of Project MU HC+ sitting at home
