  1. I've seen even tuners setup boost controllers wrong, I can give you first hand encounters of people who have paid tuners and had them totally fuark up settings. Anyhow, When setting up your Blitz SBC i Colour, make sure the AC/WG is set to "WG" to begin with. Go into your desired channel and then Boost Setup.. I suggest set it on "AUTO", then set the boost target to 1.3 bar or whatever you want and start with the GAIN on perhaps 10. Then work the gain up still the boost comes on nice and hard and holds till red line. On auto, it may take a few squirts before it reaches the target boost level as the controller will slowly adjust itself to the boost target. See if that helps
  2. Blitz DUAL is a fantastic boost controller, seems like your tuner has no idea how to set it up, hece it's dropping. If you hold the left button down for 3 seconds, there's a GAIN menu.. increase that till your boost holds flat, you will need to drop your duty cycle down. Also on the back of the controller there's a setting to put it on EWG OR IWG.. I hope you've set that correctly too. AFRs mean nothing compared to ignition timing as I've mentined before.. you can have a lazy arse flat as shit low timing map with perfect ruler style AFRs.. Like I said, post up your microtech's timing map, or even the tune file.. I can put all those numbers into a three dimensional table for you and we can analyse it.. (sometihng micro ice age cannot do)
  3. Thanks Scotty! Can't wait for some ggaaateeeee lol
  4. All in and she's starts, without a dump pipe haha... Waiting for a mate to come weld up the dump today.
  5. ^ might affect it, will just make it a touch richer that's about it
  6. it's a washer for the bolt that holds the sprocket to the cam
  7. nothing wrong with the stock one man, I ran 1.3 bar into the factory GTS-t one for years.. however it was squished in a vice (to preload the spring more) haha
  8. yes that entire area filled up with oil, when I took mine out (twice) to do my timing belt and seals, etc.. oil dribbled out. If you removed the entire VCT sprocket/gear you'll understand how it works.
  9. No, you're missing a myriad of things, go look at the service manual page provided in this thread
  10. do you have a wideband? hard to say what's wrong without one over the interwebz
  11. Hey Tim, Perfectly fine, no way the can will enter the pipe if you make it the same size as the stock gasket with the 2x holes for the bolt.. Tune wise no change, except on decel, you might get the occasional pop or near-stall as it will richen up the mixture
  12. yeah because that filled up with oil for a reason I suggest you go install all the missing parts there
  13. and also AFRs mean nothing when your ignition table is complete rat shit, hence I said post up your map.
  14. you mean micro-iceage/Neanderthal? lol fuark man I road tuned a car with it before, I was so close to just calling it quits.. it's was built by morons. 1x table is just RPM vs. ignition (yes there's no load) and there's another table for load and how much ignition you would like to shave off.. LOL.. you said " I had already maxed oem before I spent money on the turbo injectors computer intake and manifold so that makes no sence." So I ask again, what did you previous setup max out at? and what did it comprise of? Guys are making 200kW with stock injectors/manifolds/turbo/coilpacks etc.. with just more boost & ignition/fuel maps optimised (either through a toshi remap/Z32 new ecu, etc.)
  15. yeah needs a washer, spring, 0-ring, plate and 4x plates I wouldn't be surprised if your VCT is not working
  16. what did you max it at? also when did you buy that ECU & how much?
  17. and tell them to send you the tune file I have a feeling the tune was shit house, also because it's a microtech lt12.. they're so clunky to tune with.. 2x tables to do essentially a single table can do.
  18. post up your timing maps, could be a mixture of things
  19. wait you're missing the cover, spring, seal and those 4x 6/8mm?mm bolts that's why it looks funny, also if that's the case how does your VCT function properly? I'm sure that spring in there to shift the cam sprocket
  20. highly doubt that is, Trent will know straight away.. you will see it in Nistune if the temp correction table is used as it lights up green. I would recommend plugging up an EGT into each runner (one at a time I guess to keep cost down) and data log the EGT per cylinder for the same run/conditions 6x times - this would still be cheaper than pulling a head off
