  1. Hey Tim, Perfectly fine, no way the can will enter the pipe if you make it the same size as the stock gasket with the 2x holes for the bolt.. Tune wise no change, except on decel, you might get the occasional pop or near-stall as it will richen up the mixture
  2. yeah because that filled up with oil for a reason I suggest you go install all the missing parts there

  4. you mean micro-iceage/Neanderthal? lol fuark man I road tuned a car with it before, I was so close to just calling it quits.. it's was built by morons. 1x table is just RPM vs. ignition (yes there's no load) and there's another table for load and how much ignition you would like to shave off.. LOL.. you said " I had already maxed oem before I spent money on the turbo injectors computer intake and manifold so that makes no sence." So I ask again, what did you previous setup max out at? and what did it comprise of? Guys are making 200kW with stock injectors/manifolds/turbo/coilpacks etc.. with just more boost & ignition/fuel maps optimised (either through a toshi remap/Z32 new ecu, etc.)
  5. yeah needs a washer, spring, 0-ring, plate and 4x plates I wouldn't be surprised if your VCT is not working
  6. what did you max it at? also when did you buy that ECU & how much?
  7. and tell them to send you the tune file I have a feeling the tune was shit house, also because it's a microtech lt12.. they're so clunky to tune with.. 2x tables to do essentially a single table can do.

  9. wait you're missing the cover, spring, seal and those 4x 6/8mm?mm bolts that's why it looks funny, also if that's the case how does your VCT function properly? I'm sure that spring in there to shift the cam sprocket
  10. highly doubt that is, Trent will know straight away.. you will see it in Nistune if the temp correction table is used as it lights up green. I would recommend plugging up an EGT into each runner (one at a time I guess to keep cost down) and data log the EGT per cylinder for the same run/conditions 6x times - this would still be cheaper than pulling a head off
  11. rock up any spares shop and ask for a RB20/25/26/30 crank/cam seal.. they're all the same.. I got mine for $8

  15. If you have the space at the front might as well get a D34 Optima, not much of a price difference and that battery will give you nearly 10 years of service if you use a proper charger to maintain it once in a while. D51r is handy for us R33 boys as the rear boot is limited with space
  16. just did a search, seems it's like a new-ish problem and the band aid solution is to run another idler off the power steering bracket (seems dodge to me)... back in the days I never heard any issues with Ross balancers, probably they're surfacing now because people are making more & more power. When 250kW was heaps, it's crap all now lol... I myself am chasing 350kW now...

  18. so everything done, however the very last thread, there are 2x easy outs stuck in it & weld marks all around it.. Looks like the previous owner had a go and mad a mess out of it.. Greg said it will be a PITA to drill it out and fix it up.. so I opted for just fixing the other studs and leaving that 1x stud untouched.. I hope it doesn't leak
