  1. Even a kanban on a white board with magnetic tiles where you can list the part, customer name, order number. Different tiles, different category of work/part. Not hard, just needs discipline. They should hire me, I'll show them true Asian efficiency. Duma.
  2. And no need to carry 5x jerry cans each time I go to the track, BMW probably will come/leave with the same tank of fuel! Old Wakefield Park days... there was another jerry can in the boot along with tools
  3. Then why do we mod our 90s shit boxes to try match the performance of these Euros? twin scroll turbos, traction control, motorsport grade ABS, retrofitting DCT/ZF boxes, variable cam timing, etc.?
  4. What pads are you running? I can help with Intima SR pads if you want something streetable and not squealy
  5. That pretty much sums it up! The casual M2 guys at Wakefield before literally just threw on semis, better pads, a tune off their phone, 1/3 of an exhaust system and they're doing 1m5~8s.
  6. At Wakefield, on a dry day I was only a few seconds behind them, but once the track conditions are not optimum you can really see the gap widen! These guys are abusing the stability control, traction, ABS like crazy (I would too).
  7. I would take it to the track, think about the amount of money I've spent on my shit box - it's comparable. Also I would rather push it on the track instead of on the streets or twisty roads, etc.
  8. Last night you would see the M cars & Euro cars push into turns later, brake later, etc. They were having fun, albeit there were sheets of water on the track. Meanwhile all the 90s JDM shit boxes without any stability/traction control etc. were literally cruising around the track. Luckily enough I have working ABS so could brake a bit later than others.
  9. Opened to the idea of a M2 Comp, M3 Comp swap with a bit of cash your way
  10. Probably the most quiet mildly powered R33 one has heard, the solid lifters are louder than the exhaust lol
  11. Let's be honest, it's not a nice car, so shit box is a great description.
  12. I did, was quite challenging not under steering or snap oversteering
  13. Supposed to have a track night tonight, however the rain is a bit aids. 80% chance of rain at 6pm lol.. there's still hope right?
  14. I wonder how your motor was built, seems to be leaking quite a bit of the combustion gasses into the crank case. I don't have this issue.
  15. jesus, how much enrichment do you have on cold start? lol...
  16. You will need to cut into it, rust converter and weld up, add seam sealer, etc. then respray. Not impossible, but not fun either lol. I went in for a basic "respray", nek minnit.............. yeah could have just bought another car with that money LOL. I had the same issues.
  17. find a RB25DE NEO (yes no T), keep it as a spare motor, those things take some abuse as well! big sump, oil/water feeds for turbo, pop in some higher lift cams/springs, ARP studs and send city..
  18. pretty big job, but not impossible! Just wait till you build a 745.7kW car, then repair/respray the engine bay.
  19. When it smells like fuel and/or looks milky from E85 and/or when it's a dark colour.
