  1. There's a business idea! Just timing couldn't be any worse, I'm a dad now - can't just bugger off for a tuning trip
  2. Do you have all hard lines or stainless braided lines to and from the rail, etc.? if so you might have fuel pulsation issues. I had the same on my car and another car I setup running a big fuel system and fairly hard lines. A way to stop this from happening is to install a Fuel Pulsation Damper (FPD), Radium have a few decent ones:
  3. Not sure if the GT-Rs use them, but is there anything between the fuel pump and fuel tank lid/cover? On the S15s (no idea why) there's an over pressure valve that dumps fuel back into the tank when fuel pressure goes above 4 ish bar. Looks like this:
  4. The beast is back! If you need rotors, just DM here or IG, I'll see what I can do these days
  5. Sounds like you need a new tuner, the fuel pump recommendation is one indicator that he/she may not be up to date with mainstream modern/proven products.
  6. everyone else seemed to digress from the conversation, and that's fine. Ok Lithium I know you have beef with me and take every single opportunity to attack me, that's fine. On the block list you go.
  7. Then we throw into the mix a good percentage of GT-R owners use their car for drag racing/roll racing more than any other kind of motorsports, the whole response debate is then some what invalid. I've done plenty of track days, not as much as @Duncan however 95% of the cars I see are not R32/33/34 GT-Rs (this is when they were cheap, now would be probably 0% GT-Rs on the track).
  8. RB25DET R34 NEO ECU is supported by Nistune RB25DET R33 ECU IS NOT supported by Nistune Some NOT all NEO ECUs are support, it must be one of these ones: R34 RB25DET (JECS) 23710/23740-AA5xx WC34 S2 RB25DET (JECS) 23710/23740-0V8xx
  9. Another option is to pop in a RB32 stroker, Samsonas and all the supporting mods. Big torque, short gear ratio box would help with getting out of situations, towing and economy.
  10. You need an aftermarket ECU, you can't just put a bigger turbo on and expect things to be all hunky dory
  11. apologies, let me try again nek minnit, has a 2.8L stroker, 6266, twin gates, twin scroll, DCT or Samsonas to "fix" his BOV recirculation. That combo would actually make a fun car with a good powerband for the street, track, drags (if that's your kind of thing).
  12. Or if you want to go down the expensive option to "fix" the issue, just bin the stock AFM, ECU, and install an aftermarket ECU, IAT & MAP (if you do not wish to use the internal one). Talk to me if you need ways to waste money, I'm good at helping with that. @BK also will help you spend money if you need LOL... nek minnit, has a 2.8L stroker, 6266 to "fix" his BOV recirculation.
  13. I like yours more though, the one I have is a bit rough around the edges and is a friction fit. I had to use foam tape to stop it flying out on hard acceleration. The one I have has no provision to easily swap over the spring clips from the ashtray.
  14. I reckon you nearly could email Greg and tell him he needs to make them lol. But at the same time, he's too busy playing with his F80 M3 now.
  15. Greg Kruse Tech lol.. Funny enough he's bought a F80 M3 and racing it. I sense GKtech parts for it now. He does post things on what he plans to do and you can tell the BMW FBO purists are eye twitching and getting all hot and bothered LOL... It's like getting a custom exhaust, using SP Mufflers, an AES valve, etc. BMW fan boys will all have heart attacks.
  16. Bi-monthly contribution to the car industry, seems weekly at this velocity lol. Needed an undertray to protect debris and stuff flying into the engine bay which may or may not have caused my power steering belt to pop off at the track. Turns out OEM plastic one is quite hard to come by so this alloy one was chosen instead. They're readily available and also cheaper than a brand new OEM one. Oh yeah new dust sheilds for the rose joints because Black Friday sale dis dat.
  17. Might as well aim for 450kW, build a motor once and enjoy it. Make 350kW on a 2 decade old motor with supposedly 130k km, it might last, it might not... Remove the uncertainty and just build it.
  18. Keeping up my (on average) monthly donation to the car industry and Nissan. Should stop my engine bay being sprayed with oil (turns out my oil cap was missing a seal lol). Also the reverse switch should fix my reverse lights flickering off and on when I engage reverse.
  19. or go ghetto and hook an a electronic boost gauge to a damper & coil on the turbo housing or exhaust manifold flange. You'll understand what the turbo is doing pretty quickly with that data
  20. Really only safest way is to get an emap installed or turbine speed sensor or both and send it. I feel you'll be very knock limited as you move away from efficiency island and your emap shoots up. I recall it's on 98RON? What's your ideal power goals and when you want to see peak torque?
  21. Really depends on your requirements of the car and how you use it. More power is great but you always sacrifice something for it.
  22. All Jap Day (really just a Powercruise day with 10min sessions of circuit) Date: 2022/11/19 Car Make and Model: R33 GTS-t S2 (Shit Box) Circuit Name: Sydney Motorsport Park GP Circuit Lap time: 2m02s Top Speed: 226km/h, smashed the limiter in 4th at the end of the run lol Timing method: Race Chrono (didn't know where to pick up the Natsoft timer) Engine: RB25DET NEO Power: 438rwkW Suspension: MCA X-R, usual shit, subframe moved up 10mm Tyres: Hankook RS-4 Z232 265/35/18 200TW Brakes: 350Z Brembos (F), Stock (R). Intima RS all round First time ever on the circuit, and had a very short session. This was the 2nd session where I managed that time, my 1st session the times were 2m7 to 2m10s. I hope to give it another crack soon with the car as-is, same tyres and all. Hoping a sub 2 minute lap. Watching the footage, plenty of opportunities to be had. Just need more seat time
  23. so easy right? no need to even tune or do anything fancy... spray nitrous, add fuel till AFRs are good.
  24. get a Nitrous wet kit, spray & make sure your AFRs are good
