Different requirements I suppose. MoTec stuff is race grade with telemetry and all the car's data. However not as easily accessible via a touch screen like the Garmin with instant playback, stitching of best sectors into a theoretical best lap for you to do. Very good bit of gear and yeah the price is a bit up there, but getting a racelogic or q Starz you're already half way there without a camera.
-
I don't even know how much they cost lol... Just played with one on the day and thought it was great. Logs Gs, speed, position, etc. Very cool and overlays the footage on top. I'll wait for the Garmin guys to upload the footage and I'll share it.
-
Better than the Q Starz unit I had back in the day. Tell you delta, reads out lap times so you don't need to look, then the opportunities screen is mega good. Acts like a personal coach, shows you what speed you should be going at, how to take lines, etc. Just waiting for the in car footage from the unit in my car and I'll post it up. Not too sure when the next track day was, today's one was super last minute. I do have All Jap Day on the 19th of Nov, but that's more "power cruise" than actual racing. There are 2x sprint sessions but that's it. Sensor wise, I have no idea. It's the first gen Haltech canbus wideband, will need to unplug it and have a squiz at some stage, maybe next year I'll sort it out 😂
-
I like the IC7, just not the casing. Sensor is after the 2nd bend on the dump, about 20cm before the cat is. Theoretically that should be far enough from the turbo. Oh yeah, it was a day hosted by Garmin to test out their hardware 🙂
-
Car did not blow up 😆 ABS died, plenty of lock ups after lol. Then cluster died, no tacho so just banged the limiter instead, then wideband sensor decided to die and read 35:1 AFR and engine protection kept triggering lol. Post up footage soon. Managed a 1m00.2s, my mate did a 58.1s in the car but he's been to Luddenham several times.

Another BK R32 GTR money pit...

Car deserves it! Only 4% of car's value. For me, if I did such thing it's 80% of the car's value LOL. -

@BK looks like that mouse and keyboard played up again and you accidentally ordered new parts. -

Throw the ones that flows a bit more into Cylinder 1, 5, 6. I have 3% additional flow on those Cylinders (requested by Alex at Birrong when I was tuning). -
Definitely man! It's super hard for me to get a day off from work and family duties. When I do, it never works out!
-
Man it's annoying, I just want to go racing: All Jap Day, NSW floods, moved to 19th of November Luddenham, NSW probably might flood and hail Wakefield Park, closed after 1st September Farken.
-
Just my luck, same with All Jap Day. Car gods are giving me a sign, don't race your car. Just hard park it and stand next to it only.
-
2 Step Comp dis dat... funny it's not even "2-step", it's actually anti-lag with a secondary RPM limiter but hey it's cooler to just say "2-step". Muricaaaaaaaaaaaaa fk yeah.

Shoota's R33 GT-R RB30/26

Fark it, tube front end. Might as well 🥲 -
I was referring to the pubs/cafes/shop fronts etc. commercial properties up for sale soon when all the tenants vacant and landlords are forced to sell as they can't keep them. I hope Wakefield doesn't shut.
-
Here's hoping it's shut for a month or two and there's massive economic backlash everyone begs for it to reopen asap. If not, there will be plenty of cheap houses, cheap commercial properties for sale very soon. Let's be honest, there's not much to do in Goulburn
-
My current AGV helmet is looking rather sad, will definitely get modernised gear soon enough. Can't put a price on safety.
-
There are plans for it, been a plan for a while lol. I really should just do it, mainly for safety. Especially now I'll be easily doing 220 to 230km/h down the mainstraight at Wakefield Park (provided it even stays open now due to all the issues they're having).

Yes and no, the Zeta 3 Plus holds very well for lateral movement when compared to a Recaro SR3 or a Bride Brix (used them both also real ones not fake ones). I agree a harness will improve being planted in the seat.
-
It's a space thing, will now need to leave the stock seat at the in laws. Joys of Sydney, pay for air not land.
-
They are, but for some light track work, they offer decent support. I used to have a Recaro SR3 in the shit box and it was hopeless for Wakefield. I would be trying to push myself into the seat another corners instead of trying to steer.
