GOT SUM's RB34
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to klutched's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Ah fark, guess I'll need to buy a new gearbox soon too. This is the problem, as much as I hate the fking thing, I keep on spending money on it. -

Naice, will be very interested how easy/hard the box swap goes! (When we buying M3s and selling our Skylines to Americans for ludicrous amounts of money?) -
I recall it's not that old, if I were you I would just take it out and check the strainer at the very least. And since you're already there, why not replace the pump 😎

@admS15 sounds about right on E85, my old setup with the Siemens DEKA 875cc injectors were in the 90 to 92% DC mark at 372kw I'm assuming you have some form of closed loop O2 correction running too?

Provided your pump is supplying the correct fuel pressure and your FPR is able to regulate fuel pressure then changing to another pump should not affect the tune. The only time this happens is when a fuel pump is under supplying the target fuel pressure and the fuel map compensates for dropping fuel pressure so when a new fuel pump that's able to supply the correct fuel pressure is installed there will be a sudden rich patch in the fuel table.

DW and Walbro are both decent pumps, FWIW I run a DW200 lift pump and 2x Wallahbro F90000267 via PWM. And agree with @GTSBoy, just buy a new one. Keep that 2nd hand pump as a spare for troubleshooting or for moving fuel around things at home.

R32 GT-R model year differences on ecu
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to timmy94's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
You'll be surprised how many cars are out there with top notch ECUs but no engine protection enabled. Either tuner was not bothered or customer was too tight to buy all the sensors. -
I can arrange for HKS stickers, GReddy badges, etc. to cover up the Garrett and Haltech junk in the car... Also a bit of white out and a sharpie will change Plazmaman into Nismo in seconds lol.

I hope they buy my R33 one day, so I can buy a boring M3 with the money

It's to keep @Duncan from appearing to have sand in his taco when I mention throwing twins in the bin 😅 -

Dose Pipe advice: Throw stock ECU into bin Throw stock AFMs into bin Throw stock O2s into bin Throw twin turbos into the bin (optional) Buy Haltech Elite ECU Buy Haltech Motorsport MAP sensor Buy Haltech canbus wideband Buy twin scroll modern single turbo, and twin scroll manifold (optional) Install Haltech, wideband closed loop O2 correction, enjoy car. -
GOT SUM's RB34
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to klutched's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Your tone of voice @Lithium nearly suggests I was bagging out MoTec which I am not. I was just representing what the general car enthusiast community in Australia think of MoTec in general. -

want new features? pay for firmware unlocks... that's why. Buy a Link or Haltech or Adaptronic, you have all the features ready to go. -
MLR's Bogan cruise ship
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to The Bogan's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Maybe you should buy Lego, same feeling, less money lol -
19th November, All Jap Day (Roll Racing's version, not to be confused with All Japan Day lol). Mix of a kind of Power cruise, timed circuit racing and Roll Racing all in one day. A few of the forum members including myself are going. Might be a relatively cheap event at Eastern Creek to stretch the car's legs.
