  1. The brake input is optional on the Haltech, I personally don't use the brake input. I'll post up my IO assignment tonight, unfortunately using SPI for temperature sensors are not recommended as you lose resolution.
  2. Once you go DBW, you don't look back. Great idle quality, AC doesn't cause idle quality to degrade. The factory air leak valves are so slow to react, with bigger cams your motor is very inefficient at lower RPMs the compressor engaging is enough to stall the motor. Nissan should have used stepper motors like JZs or 4Gs, instead they installed a two slow reacting air leak valves lol.
  3. Used up everyone single DPI, AVI. Even sacrificed the power steering input lol. DBW uses up 4x inputs.
  4. Good points, will rethink how I use the buttons. Might not even have cruise control as I need an IO expander. Used up all the inputs on DBW setup and all the sensors so none left for brake input.
  5. They will so realise how much of a dumb decision it was.. and by then it would have been too late. Not long ago when we were down there, my friends and I were approached by the "GSK" aka Goulburn Sick Kients (no joke)... bogans on bicycles with mullets. Anyhow, asked me to rev the car, I gave them a good dose of dose & anti-lag... they loved it. I suppose that noise must have travelled from Wakefield Park all the way into town. I apologise in advance from 4 years ago.
  6. Clearly the cows, sheep, bin chickens, wild flowers are really upset about the noise. Council, or whoever they are, aren't very smart. Goulburn's livelihood is dependent on track racers such as myself. We would go down there for a weekend, eat/drink hire accommodation buy things at the local shops/Supercheap etc. Not very smart for their economy, good on them for standing up for their rights. Good on ya Gary and Karen.
  7. billet oil pump gears are rubbish, I've gone the extra step. Nitto oil pump bruvvaaa I believe it's stop/start to onboard memory only, same way you would press F6 in NSP.
  8. Probably the following: Rolling AL (because it's very cool at the moment) Launch On/Off Boost Up Boost Down Enable/Disable Cruise Control Set Cruise Control Speed Stop Cruise Control Enable/Disable Logging
  9. Sounds like by the time yours is done it would be $100k easily, paint job, ECU/wiring/sensors, proper suspension setup, etc. They are a money vortex!
  10. lol.... I kept a spreadsheet on the current shit box, total costs excludes serviceable parts (fluids, pads, filters, etc.), dyno tuning (because I tuned it myself), but still it's crept up to $90k for a shit box GTS-t.
  11. Good luck bro! Hopefully your transition to Australia is smooth, and maybe you'll have some brain fart and buy my car so I can buy myself a M3 lol
  12. Or just buy a M2/3/4/5 lol.... Fast, stock, comfortable, won't get pinched and cops leave you alone.
  13. Damn, only option now is to reshell. Take all the good bits out, pop it on a pallet. Find a 180SX shell here and apply the parts on it.
  14. Read into personal imports, the rules are a bit different.
  15. Even a HDi GT2 core would do wonders. I'm not a fan of those Mishimoto cores.
  16. Nice work! Chill down the intake temps down and you'll make more power. Those intake temps (my personal opinion) are quite high.
  17. Nizmo God has spoken, thanks bro! I'll have a good read and see what I can do to improve the garbage headlights. At this point, seems easier to buy a M3 lol
  18. yeah nah, not paying that much money lol.
  19. Some solid work there, as you may or may have not picked up from my build thread I have next to no time to DIY stuff these days. Easier to find H1 globes that perform, slot them in and enjoy. They do look ok actually, too bad we don't have those kinds of services in Australia retrofitting HIDs, LEDs from OEM applications to old 90s shit boxes.
  20. Also came here for LED H1 globes, found nothing LOL. Been driving around in the Tiguan (has auto levelling LED headlights) and drove the R33 the other day in the evening. It feels like the headlights produce like 30% of what the Tiguan produces! Not to mention the lenses are clear (been polished) and it already has some Philips H1 globes in there. Must be getting old, but it feels like I can barely see anything with the R33's lights at night. These look exxy af, but will they perform? I kind of don't want to take the risk (feeling poor atm). https://www.stedi.com.au/copper-head-h1-led-head-light-conversion-kit.html
  21. Race car with working A/C so good. Like that time it was raining cats & dogs at Wakefield, I went on the track with the A/C on, windows up and doried LOL
  22. I have this bracket for sale if you want to buy it, it's brand new and powder coated in black.
  23. Just my 2 cents, put on a Nitto or Tomei headgasket along with ARP head studs since the motor is apart.
