  1. Im very interested in them, im in Hobart
  2. The center vent in the dash?
  3. Have you thought about using a R32 RB25de? works out a lot cheaper than trying to put a bigger crank in a RB20
  4. I think so, plenty of people have already put a deposit down including myself, but it is getting a bit drawn out
  5. Roll cage in my car is nearly done will post up some pics soon
  6. Yeah some of the old 45-48mm Turbosmart gates played up abit, I would stay away from old second hand ones, but the new models are really good
  7. The fella that could get the carbon ceramic rotors name is Wayne Hill and he work for various race teams in Europe, they where second hand and for memory they where $2k for 330mm carbon rotors. For new carbon rotors with pads they would cost as much as a second hand R34 GTR if not more no joke, so you may wont to just stick to normal rotors. For instance new carbon rotors and pads on a R35 GTR V-spec just the fronts alone are $60 odd grand witch is almost unbelievable but true
  8. Tas Mobile Mechanics - 64 Charles St, Moonah. They are really good, drop in and see Martin this job wouldn't be a problem for them, do you need a Hicas lock bar? or are the different to R32's
  9. Just posting up pics, they will be in the SAU for sale section soon!
  10. For Sale AP 8 pots brakes
  11. Yeah i phoned up 6boost and ask him about a custom one, his customer service skills are not the best and he was telling me well its not one of my manifolds, i've never had this problem before and the manifold was brought from him, i've had it sitting around for a while.
  12. i just realised in that pic the front cover isn't rotated to where it needs to be which makes less clearance, now its sitting about 15mm to high and the brace is just a normal cusco one
  13. I have just fitted a 6boost manifold to my RB25de+T from a R32 in my R32gts-t, the turbo is only a GT3076r with .6 front cover. Is it normal for the turbo to so high? the only real problem is i wont to run my strut brace still as its being built for track work and i would like to still run a brace. Is any one else using a 6boost manifold on here had the same problem and does there turbo sit that high? Any help - ideas would be great, Cheers Ray
  14. "i Know that a cage was built by a new Hobart bloke a while back in a supra and the front leg collapsed as it rolled down a hill and crushed the blokes finger on the steering wheel. its bad enough having a crash but watching the cage crumble around you as you are crashing isnt a good sight." I’m not aware of the one you mention could be a different one? Or someone told you the wrong story. The only supra I know of that has rolled was a silver auto JZ80 TT up at the Collinsvale hill climb about 18 months ago, it rolled a number of times down a step bank hitting a tree on the way and ending up about 50 meters off the road. (In Kieran’s pic’s above) Az and Kieran put the cage in that Supra, the cage held up well and save the guy from any injuries, the front right leg did get a bend in it as that’s what made contact with the tree but did not crush his hand to the steering wheel. I was there at the time, I think the cage saved the guys life! Az has built many cages with YT and you cannot tell their work apart they both look the same, I’m confident that Az is as good as anyone in the state at cages. Any way back on topic
  15. The only thing with the blue WRX is it’s got no x bars in the roof?, still not sure if I’m going to get them put in mine or not, what would you do Stu? Az starts mine in the next week or so just worried about head room in my R32, but with new seats mounted as low as possible should be ok just, will post up progress pics in coming weeks and I’ve chosen X bars for the side intrusion because that’s what Az wonted to do
  16. +1 ive also got one nearly finshed and hope to go in a couple of octagon rounds next year and im also going to be navigating in a R32 GTR in targa wrest point and targa rookie next year. Its marlins old blue GTR,
  17. Yeah true, they should compare the R35 to the z tune!

yeah he still got the GTR, its nearly been 2 years since it was last running lol got a full cage put in it about a year ago, and only just took it to Kuzzie’s a couple of weeks ago to have it put back together just chasing up a couple little parts, it's got a whole new motor and turbo’s and new suspension and 8 pot APracing brakes. Matts hoping to take it to Melbourne in a few weeks to Race Pace to have it tuned and other new bits put on. He still keen to take it up the drags and stuff but it’s now built for tarmac rally's and has entered in Targa Wrest Point and the Rookie Targa next year, I’m going to be navigating for Matt its gunna be awesome fun. I can’t wait to see your old best at the drags again and in the burn out comp, it will be great to see a import with big power at the drags!

Yeah funny how times change, I was with Matt when he first took you and you girl friend for a ride in it from the silver dome I remember the look on your face, you loved it as did every one that went for a ride in it at the time, what stood out was the sound of it, the screamer pipe was like nothing else any one had ever heard before and it was dyno’d in Melbourne at Race Pace- Ice with old owner Andrew or the importer did? and now is Matts Mechanic for his GTR and only found out as he was telling him about his old cars lol small world
