I missed the bit where you said Drift and street, as many would agree you can’t go past the Garrett GT3076r for all round turbo they make great power 320rwkw plus and still have good response. For a stock motor you wouldn’t really wont to run much more than 17-18psi some have can and do but it might last for a month or year you just don’t know with a stock motor.

You have listed a turbo like the HKS25/30 and Garrett GT35 you are talking about a very mild turbo to one that can make 380 rwkw, 500HP. What do you won’t to do with the car? Drift? Drag? Track? Or just street? Are you going to be fully building the motor and other parts? A good all round turbo for the RB25 is the Garrett GT3076r with .82 rear housing. But u need to explain what you what to do with the car and how much you wont to spend! As an Hks 25/30 set up will cost you a few thousand and a GT35 option could cost you a lot more

For a stock motor 3071r for sure would work best

Garrett 3071, Hks version is 28-35 and about $2k more, http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category12_1.htm The 3071r on here are bolt-on and some guys on SAU are making around 275rwkw. As for injectors there’s not a lot out there for neo's but Ben at SPG will be able to get them for you.

I’m Very interested! I do have a couple of questions; do you have to be building a new engine to use one? So everything is balanced or something together I was told. My new built engine is only a bit over 1000km’s old and I just noticed that the balancer has a chip out of the front pulley it was never use to be there before it was built so I was thinking a new one would be better than one with a chip out of it no matter what? My motor is RB25de from a R32 so would i need a RB20det or RB25det Balancer or do they use the same one? Cheers, Ray and sorry for all the questions

About 17-18psi and make about 215rwkw on a RB20 safely, you can run a bit more boost but they really don’t make much more power and any good mechanic can fit it easily they bolt on to the manifold and dump pipe and only a couple of miner things need changing, if you do a search on here there would be detailed thread on here on what needs changing to fit to a rb20 it’s been done hundreds of times. Are these rear calipers, they look like they are?

I have a R32 RB25 de that has been fully rebuilt with forged pistons treated rods all ARP bolts Tomei cams (256) performance valve springs ect and it really doesn't wont to rev it drops a cylinder (sometimes) when you try to rev it at all past about 5500rpm the turbo is only a R34 Gtt high flow running about 19psi, sounds like I’m having the same trouble as you? I’ve checked everything else a number of times e.g. coil packs. My new set up I have is a Gt3076r with 0.82 rear, Turbosmart 50mm gate and 6boost manifold, I’m worried that when I put on this set up the problem will only get a lot worse, what can be done to get rid of the problem?? I’ve spent heaps on this motor and this is just really pissing me off. Cheers

Hi, i have a R32 RB25de and i was just wondering if any one had the part number for the inlet manifold gasket, its not a rb20 one as it has bigger ports, are they the same as R33 RB25 det???? Cheers
