R32 Zilla

My car is at the dyno today and friday and i have been stuffed around by the people who sold me injectors. I have found out that they ars not straight fit nismo items but they are gtr ones that need alot of work to be fitted as they are the wrong impedence. I have returned them and got my money back but now iam stuck with standard injectors and hardly any time to find some more before car is rechipped. The guys at the dyno are going to try to find some that will fit. Would anyone have a part no. for mazda 550's that have high impedance ? and will these bolt straight in ? Where in sydney could i buy them ? Thanks Tim.

The injectors were sold to me as Nismo injectors so it had better be what they are !!! As far as i now a fully reprogramed standard computer done by chiptorqe will handle injectors and afm. Tell me if iam wrong ? Tim

iam not sure what size the injectors are. I thought they might be 555cc. They were fitted to the same engine that the turbo was. I thought u may be able to tell me what the most likley size of them would be. They r Nismo and r black and yellow and the only numbers on them are A46-00 . ?

Its been along wait, but i now have all parts i have been looking for, the new turbo is fitted and my car (r32 gtst) is booked in for a rechip and dyno tune on thursday in sydney. Last time car was on the dyno it made 137 rwkw with : large fmic vg30 bb turbo standard cat in a 3 1/4 inch system k&n pod filter hks bov 11 psi I now have the following : bosch fuel pump nismo injectors z32 afm chiptorqe chip (soon) hks gt2535 turbo hks dump pipe with separate wastegate pipe high flow cat. oil catch can oil cooler I hope to make about 210 rwkw or more at about 17 psi (dont want to run over 18psi on standard internals). I think i have covered everything to make this sort of power, or have i ?

Iam planning on traveling to sydney to go and see supernats at eastern creek. I will be in sydney the week before supernats getting my car chipped and tuned for new turbo, injectors ect. I dont plan on running, just want to go watch. Has anybody been before ? It sounds like it should be a good day !?!

Would i be right in saying that an oil cooler will help look after standed internals running high boost ??? I hope so !!! Iam fitting one soon that i got real cheap but it is still going to cost me about $200 in hoses, fittings and and an adaptor just to fit it.

Are you serious Joel ? 2535 -- full boost -- 4200-4500 !????! That surprises me i thought it would be sooner than that. I had allways thought the std afm was maxed out at around 210 or 220 rwkw and iam after if possible 230rwkw as i have all the other gear to do this including nismo injectors. The only thing limiting me with this setup should be the standard internals.

What should i pay for z32 air flow meter ???? UAS have one for $400 , are they worth that much ? I have called JMS and they dont have any and if they did it would cost $450.

So, just how laggy are these turbos (hks 25 series) ? as i just recieved my gt2535 today and would have thought being a BB turbo and still being reasonably sized it should be quick to spool up. I thought i should have full boost by about 3500 rpm. My turbo has a .60 a/r compressor and a .64 exhaust housing.

I really need to find a z32 afm can anyone help me here ?

I have for my car a HKS GT2535 . Can anyone give me any info on this turbo like how much bigger it is than a 2530 and how much smaller it is than a 2540 as you never hear much about this modle. All i have heard is that it should make 350hp in the meat of its eficiency and upto a max of 400 hp and that the 2535 and 2540 are slightly newer then the smaller modles. JMS have made 220 rwkw using a 2530 so i hope to make simular results or better with a 2535. Tim

My r32 is fitted with a large front mounted truck intercooler with a fair amount of pipe work and i have allways worried about the amount of pressure drop there would be. so today i did a test by extending my boost guage vacume line and putting it on the turbo side of my bleed valve and found that ther was only about 1 to 1.5 psi pressure drop ! I would have thought it would be more. I was going to take intercooler out and have it pressure tested but i dont think i will bother as it must only loose a very small amount of pressure across it . Have i tested it the right way ? Should i be happy with this amount of loss ? Has anybody else done this test ? Thanks Tim

adam32, everyone that gets their standard r32 computer remapped has to use some sort of system. I chose to use chiptorque .You cannot actually reprogram the chip in your car but the chip is removeable and is placed on an "emulator" which pretends to be your chip while the car is on the dyno, this is a chip which can be changed very quickly and easily through the lap top it is atached too.when it is all finished the emulator programm is downoaded onto your new chip and it is plugged in. allso, thanks for the the info on the 2535 but that is about all i new before. Iam after exhast housing size ect.ect. Nismo injector size for an rb20 anybody ?

How wide are your rims ? I have 245's on 18x7.5 could i fit 255's on these rims ?

I have just bought for my 32 gtst a HKS GT2535 turbo and 6 Nismo injectors. These parts came of the same engine (rb20) and will not get here for about 3 weeks. I will not know the full specs of these parts untill they get here. The rb20 allso had HKS cams ect.ect Can anybody tell me what is the most likely size of the injectors and the specs of the turbo ? I hope to make 220 rwkw with standard internals running no more than 1.2 bar with all the other usual mods. I allready have fmic , fuel pump, exhaust and filter ect. just need 80mm afm and a chipptourqe chip. I allso plan to run oil catch can and oil cooler. Should i make my power goal ?

Iam at the stage now where i need to get my computer chipped to make the most of my turbo and other modifications and i would like to know if an adjustable fuel presure regulator would also help to make the most of the mods. Mods so far for my r32 gtst : Large fmic VG30 BB Turbo large Bosch fuel pump 3 inch to cat, 3 1/4 to tip K&N filter HKS bov 137 rwkw @ 10.5 psi soon to have chiptorque chip fitted/tuned @ SAS in sydney. I want to run 15 psi and hope to make around 175-180 rwkw, will i need to run a regulator or not , how much difference does it make ? Is this power realistic? Has anyone had any good or bad dealings with chiptorque or SAS ???? THANKYOU !!!
