  1. Iam also interested in how well these thermo set ups went. I need to upgrade my twin davies craig fan set up. They just dont cut it in the summer. Tim.
  2. Could I get a price for 255/35/18 x 2. Also .. how much to post then to Bathurst 2795 ? Thanks Tim.

I raced last night. Best was 11.6 @ 115 !! very happy with that considering my car is by no means set up drag racing. I ran on 18 inch 70% worn 40 series street tyres. Tim.
  7. The drift curcuit is a go cart track at Oakburn Park in Tamworth. It is a fun little track and wide enough to do some low speed drift. The track has been used by Tamworth Sporting Car Club for years for lap dashes ect. The track is home to 'Runamuk' drift club. One driver in particular Bryce Chapman is very good and has competed in the Australian drift series. I found these http://www.oakburnpark.com/ http://www.stadiumdrift.com/tamworthpics.htm http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=TG1Fc--yMBg I think SAU should hire the track for a weekend. Not just for drift but for a timed lapdash. Tim.
  8. This event is run by the Tamworth Drag Racing Association. Last i heard TDRA was madly saving for funds to build a proper strip at Oakburn park in Tamworth. In the meantime they have been using Gunnedah airport. Last time I raced there it was an eventful day with some bogan in a t bucket running over the timing equipment and a full drag (cortina i think) V8 rolling a heap of times at high speed. Oh and I beat a late model supercharged Ford v8 ute in my 32 GTST that I had at the time!! Anyway its still a good event. Tim.
  9. I bought this issue today. Thought I might see a picture of my car there but strangely ....... for some reason ..... no. Tim.
  10. I deposited my money yesterday! Oh well looking forward to the all new texi. Tim.
  11. Ok I just paid and entered. Are we close to having 26 cars yet ?? Tim.
  12. I think opening it up to hybrids would be really good. It could it be a 'RB v JZ' event instead of 'Skyline v Supra' to achieve the numbers needed. There are heaps of hybrids out there. Tim.
  13. Provided I dont break my car at the Mt Panorama Hill climb this Sunday Iam In ! Also my brother is trying very hard at the moment to get his awesome Toyota IS200 ready for Texi. Tim.
  14. Post up that picture!
  15. The council are actually pushing very hard to have an extra round here at the Bathurst. They are saying that it is far more economical to prepare Mt Panorama for racing then it is to prepare a street circuit in Sydney and Bathurst already has awesome facilities. Mt Panorama curently has approval for 5 full circuit events per year if needed. There are also plans for another curcuit there using pit straight and then further down the hill. This track could be used without effecting residents and could be open for regular track days! Not sure though if another round at Bathurst would effect the main event or if they would get the spectators out here for the normal round. Tim.
  16. I will be making every effort to get to this event. It was awesome last time. If it is ok my brother would love to run his Toyota IS 200 which may be finished in time. Tim.
  17. I will be there to watch. Wouldnt miss it. Tim.
  18. At a recent event in Canberra I just pulled the ABS fuse in my 32 GTR. I find that u can brake alot harder without the ABS which seems to cut in to early.
  19. Victory ....... how wide are your rims ? mine are 9 inch and I run 255's but I would like to run 265's. Do think the 9's would handle the 265's alright ? Tim.
  20. I drove car number 7. So this event will be held again in August ?? Tim.
  21. Yeah couldnt believe it. A massive bit of card board was thrown up from a car in front of me on the way home at 110 and smashed into my mirror . Thanks to those who were able to stop. Anyway had an awesome day. Learnt alot about my car and this was a very well run event. Tim.
