  1. Awesome day - really enjoyed myself. BBQ wasn't bad either Here's my dyno graph: Only mods: - GKTech split dump+front 3" - super high-flow cat - 3.5" cat-back - Apexi Pod - Front-Mount - Bosch 040 Pump on standard boost. Pretty happy with that. Cheers, Steve.
  2. First of all i'd like to say what a great turnout for such short notice! The cruise was a great idea - I had a great night Was great meeting all of you (too many to remember) and can't wait to see you all around again for the next meet BTW, count me in for cruise up to the BBQ as i was heading down on the saturday anyway - I'm from St.Albans so shouldn't be too hard to meet up with you fellas. Cheers, Steve.
  3. Bahh spewing i missed this - Just read the developments now Should hopefully be there next time. Cheers, Steve.
  4. St.Albans +1 off Sunshine Ave. Drive up Taylors Lakes/Hillside area a fair bit.
  5. Gotta put this date as an unavailability for work Definately count me in! Might even throw me car on the dyno as that's a great price
  6. You should stop bumping up the thread *Breaking news bit removed* Here's a video of it if nobody has come across it yet. GT-R Production Race Car - Video Sounds menacing!
  7. If you buy all the parts yourself i.e 100,000km service kit from kudos in the trader section and then pay for labour at the mechanics separately it might cost you a bit less. Mine all up was $974.90 including the parts i bought and labour. Also included in that cost was new rocker cover gaskets supplied by my mechanics and installation of an aftermarket fuel pump. Got my service done at EAS in Airport West 93302001- Highly rate them. Cheers, Steve.
  8. I got my guards rolled by them. Overal i was happy with the service - Quick, good job and a pleasure to deal with. Like slouch said, they're located behind a milkbar on Somerville Rd WEST FOOTSCRAY.
  9. Also take note of the modified front bar and carbon accents.
  10. I absolutely love this!! Orange NISSAN GTR spotted in Roppongi. Making me druel i tells ya!
  11. That's Mario's GT-R before it got totally stripped out and made into their drag car. I believe in those videos it was running 444kw @ all four. If their website is still up you can find more videos on www.exvitermini.com Cheers, Steve.
  12. Damn that was quick to arrive! Looks so eager to be driven
  13. Taken from GTChannel - http://www.gtchannel.com/content.php?cid=13396
  14. Finally found a day to do a photosoot with my new shoes - I'm really happy with the R33 GT-R wheels. The other R32 is my cousin steve's GTS-4 - Awesome machine. Enjoy.
  15. Hey Abu - I've been alright mate. Let us know how you find it with the stock airbox on without any modifications done to the box. I guess it might not increase HP with a pod (i guess it also depends on what brand/type as there's some shoddy ones around), but for me it has definately felt more punchier, especially in the higher rpm range for some reason i have noticed (BTW, i'm still running stock boost with cat-back + FMIC). Interesting none-the-less.
  16. I just done the opposite to what you're about to do lol. Last week i took off my stock airbox with K&N high-flow panel filter and replaced it with an Apexi Power Intake pod. I can tell you now that i noticed a significant difference between them. With the pod it feels much more responsive and less restrictive than with the airbox, and the car definately pulls harder for sure. I hacked at all the air feeds on my airbox when i removed my front bar for the FMIC so i could make an CAI for the box, it helped, but as i said the pod has been significantly better. I'm not worried about the heatsoak as i hardly ever hit boost on hot days - The only downer on the pod is more unwanted attention, but as of now i'm content with my setup but i'm keeping my airbox in storage in case of any troubles. Cheers, Steve.
  17. My cousin and i were driving up the ring road for a photoshoot last night when we seen on the other side of the road a whole heap of police cars, ambulances and fire trucks - I was thinking it had to have been something big as the freeway was blocked and traffic was being diverted to Williamstown Road. Was hoping the people involved were OK Sorry to hear it was someone you knew DNGRUS - my condolences go out to their famililies.
  18. That's Nissan's GT-R Production Race Car at the Nismo Festical - 'Shin' from GTR.co.uk which took those photos was quoted to say: If it is to be a road car, that would be absolutely insane!
  19. Hey subie, I've got R33 GT-R wheels on my R32 GTS-t - The offset and width of the wheels sit in line perfectly with the guards and with the right ride height the tyres should not be touching. However, on really bumpy surfaces with my height raised the fronts will scrape the inner lining, and on sharp corners the rears touched the guard. I got my guards rolled recently so i can put the ride height down to how i previously desired. A section of the inner lining on the front guards had to be taken out as they get in the way the most. I've got some photos but i'll take better ones during the course of the week if you want to get a better idea. Cheers, Steve.
  20. Fist of all, a thankyou goes to Shin on gtr.co.uk for bringing us this breaking news. So here we go guys - this thing looks pure horn! You can see more pics at: NISSAN GT-R PRODUCTION RACE CAR! Link to video: GT-R Production Race Car - Video
  21. The R32's seem to be holding their value the past few years - So hard to find a clean example now so i went along with the importing route and scored a clean example for 12k which i thought was a reasonable price. Re-itterating on a lot of points here, the P-Plate restrictions, lack of clean examples, baseline value are playing a huge part in the prices and there's nothing you can do about it. If you really like the car, you would fork out the money for the price being offered. Everyone has their own opinion, it's just that hardly anyone can present a mature point - sound like a bunch of school kids fighting over what match box car is better than the other. Get over it - reading this shit puts me off visiting SAU.
