  5. PM sent MRSJET - Is this the R33 you saw him driving in?
  6. happy birthday fellas! probably don't know you, but i thought i'd spread the love - because this is one more lad with a birthday on the 30th Cheers, Steve.
  7. Hehehe, i think i might know who this is. My mate in his marron R33 told me a story about a girl in her silvia driving next to him (I'm serious BTW) - he is right off Taylors Rd. He's always got plates on though? Did u notice an FMIC? It does 'dose' now beacause he blocked off the stock BOV. He's had his stock rims on for a while, but has now put on a new set i think. Got any questions, let me know - might be able to sort you out Cheers, Steve.
  8. Completely agree......great skills seeing as though you're new to it Just picked the wrong car to bling Whatever floats your boat mate - keep it up.
  9. Fair point. Was no mechanic, just some responses to my photos - it looks as though the body o-ring between the plastic top and metal body has melted or something and got unstuck, if that makes sense? - i dont think that can be replaced? I've had a fuel flow and pressure test done recently which all came out OK. I'll get to the bottom of it. Thanks for your replies BTW, have you got any photos of the injector before it got repaired? Cheers, Steve.
  10. My leak hasn't gotten that extreme....Could be that i suppose, but i also got told that my injector is unserviceable - so i'd personally rather get a good working order second hand unit (which wasn't that expensive) than trying to service my injectors. I'll get back to you guys when i get the old ones taken out Cheers, Steve.
  11. All sorted for the time being - Just picked a pair up. Thanks for the quick response guys. Cheers, Steve.
  12. *sorted for the time being* Hey guys, I'm in the market for a pair RB20DET injectors for my R32 GTS-t as one of them has started leaking & another needs to be replaced. *i know this is the wrong section - but i need them asap - so i'll try here before i put the ad up on the WTB section* I wan't to get this done as soon as possible, as this is my daily drive. From what i have read, the one's needed are: Standard injectors are red, they are a JECS injector and the number on the side is A46-000001 & are a 270cc high impedance type. If anyone has any, brand new or second hand (good wokring order), please let me know ASAP - I can come and pick them up. Cheers, Steve. BTW - here is a picture of the leak:
  13. Or you can just get your digital camera and record the replay off your tv I done it with my previous lap record on racing/soft tyres. Visible enough to see the time.
  14. Thank you very much for your help RB30-POWER, I will buy an injector ASAP. Cheers, Steve.
  15. Hey guys, i think i've got an injector problem. I've noticed a stain lately on one of the intake pipes just under injector 1 in my engine bay - wasn't sure where the stain came from as i thought that petrol wouldn't stain and could be oil related (although the injector did look a little wet). Upon degreasing the area, i noticed the stain coming back. Today i was giving the motor a rev in the engine bay and looking closely at the injector....on light throttle i could see a very fine mist coming from about the middle of the injector, and then a small sort of bubble sitting under the injector. I have some photos attached here: What should i do with this? Can i repair the injector, or should i go ahead a buy a new one as i know they're not deer for the standard RB20DET injectors. Is it safe to continue driving like this? Anyone have any RB20DET injectors for sale? (Standard injectors are red ,they are a JECS injector and the number on the side is A46-000001) Thanks in advance, Steve.
  16. Good luck with the ZZII guys. Clocked a new fast lap last night at Tsukuba: 51.343 This was with the traction control set to 1 and NO gas - Man is it a handfull! Bit too difficult with traction set to 0, i think i was in the low 52's with it off. No shot tonight though, going out
  17. For what you've got, that is a damn quick time! i'll have to try better my own now incase you come back with another fast figure
  18. I have found the M-Spec Nur to be the best of the bunch around the track - give it a try. Mine has clocked 1621km's. Love it! change your oil if you havn't that should bump up the figure a little if it's old
  19. OK, no problems - These are my only modifications to the road car (R34 GT-R M-spec Nur '02): -Power: 874kw -Tyre Type: Sports F: sports/soft R: sports/soft -Turbine Kit: Original -Brakes: Racing Brakes -Racing Large Intercooler -Driving Aids: TCS Controller = 2, the rest are 0 -Full cust. gearbox: auto settings set to 9. No other ratio changes -SUSPENSION SETTINGS: Original Suspension spring rate: F 11.0 R 13.0 ride height: F 72 R 72 damper: F 7 R 8 damper B: F - R - damper R: F - R - camber angle: F 5.0 R 3.0 toe: F 0 R 0 stabiliser: F 4 R 4 -WING: downforce: F 30 R 28 These settings work well with my driving style - See how it goes for you.
  20. No probs (my 45.999 was done with the r34 road car: R34 M-Spec Nur '02, but with racing soft tyres)....gave it another crack last night with the same car, just street soft tyres, wing, no NOS and some traciton control aid - Best result: 51.468 Should be able to squeeze a bit more off that tonight Cheers, Steve.
  21. Was a good night out tonight - great weather. As for the pizza, i liked the flavour, but i thought the base could be thicker.....didn't know that extra toppings could be added at no extra charge damnit Overall, enjoyed meeting new people with nice pizza to top it off. Cheers, Steve.
  22. Should be able to make it
  23. Yeah, i get fuel smell around my filler and in my engine bay. Not noticable in the cabin though....might have to inspect this fuel filter. Where can i locate this in the RB20DET engine bay? *had my car for ~4 months (purchased complied and serviced) Cheers, Steve.
  24. Gave the game another crack tonight after a long absence - Went from: - 52.285 - to 52.242 - to 52.097 - then 51.889 On street tyres (no driving aids except traction control set to 2) & Wing. Consistantly doing low 52's - hopefully i can break that record of yours soon, mad082 Steve.
  25. Thanks for that i was trying to find the regulations. I'll give it a crack soon.
