  1. Congratulations on your purchase! I see you went with Glam Imports - as i had those pictures sent to me via e-mail when i was looking for an R32. Very nice. I just went through with them for my 11/92 HCR32 GTS-t Type-M, and got it on the road 2 weeks ago - I'm really happy with it!: If you have any questions, feel free to ask via PM (i still might have the photos they sent to me of your car in my e-mail). All the best mate! Can't go wrong with the R32! Stefce.
  2. Thanks for the heads up! But i've already PM'd _8OO5TED_ and got referred on to another user of the forums to help me out - but it was too late unfortunately for that time being. I'm not so fussed with Just Car ATM, i might consider changing companies down the track though. Cheers for your reply!
  3. Wow! I wonder if anyone can beat that $3200! Is that $1900 with a rating 4 now? How much would be expected to drop from my ~$2400 when i go to rating 4 (knock on wood making no claim)?
  4. I can't complain much - i dont want to be taking any risks.
  5. Im 18, full comp rating 5 with Just Cars ~$2400
  6. Good on you for the effort Rezz! Great photos!

  8. Here's a few pictures of my R32:
  9. This morning on 10 news, they identified it as a 'Nissan GT-R'
  10. This occurred on Furlong Road infront of Sunshine Hospital, for those in the western suburbs - you will know the place. I wouldn't be the one to place blame on the driver before any official report, as i know that road well - It isn't particularly safe for people trying to cross the road to the Hospital/Bus Stop inbetween pedestrian crossings which are spaced an easy 500m apart. A lot of people do this to save time. - It is a 60 zone - 2 lanes each direction - Usually busy, but can be quiet on nights I'm not placing blame on either party, but the damage to the R32 looks like a possibility of a high speed colision - so speed might be a factor? This is a tragic accident - my condolences go out to the family of the deceased.
  11. Ahhh, the good ol' brimbank park lookout - great place to take photos...Will hopefully take some of my own R32 soon! Tutorials are your best friend! Keep it up!
  12. Wow, some really quick times in this thread! Gave Nurburgring a crack the last couple of days - Heres my time with the only car i've really tested on the track: -Modified R34 GT-R M-Spec Nur -Racing Soft Tyres -No Wings -No NOS -Really stiff suspension (72mm off the ground) and no traction control! = lots of fun Time: 6:21.522 Steve.
  13. Infamous building 108....I'm currently studying at building 108 - Diploma of I.T. I'm more worried about their air conditioning system, i don't think it's been cleaned for a while, i always cop allergies How many more are studying at this building?
  14. Here are a couple of more pictures i found a while back... Just found 1 more... Personally, i like it - it doesn't look too bad...Maybe a touch too long.
  15. As for the thing on the bonnet, i've read somewhere that it is just in fact a fly screen.

  18. Congratulations on your purchase Anarkei! I can't wait until my car arrives from Japan so i can become an official member! Drive safe!
  19. Totally agree on everything you've said there. But that is the beuty of the game! Sure, stock challenge is super fun, and i will defintely get stuck into this too; but it is in the nature of the game to modify your vehicle. From the beggining with GT4, i was into the whole stock thing, mild tuning with the sports tyres - but having the ability to change the whole dynamics of the car, and to be in that 'ALL OUT' class might not be as or more challenging than with sports tyres to drive, but then again, it is not THAT easy to drive to get the best possible time out of it. The purpose of adjusting the setup for myself, was to achieve a fast lap time without having the trouble of oversteering when braking hard, understeering on corner entry/exit or having too much drag on the short straigt on Tsukuba and to compare how much time difference there is between setups. ie. having the perfect balanced car - but then again, it is not so easy to drive to try and better your time over and over again. It takes a long time to adjust! But this is the beuty....so many categories you can split this game up into, and they're all great! Keep this up i rekon! This can be entertaining for a lot more hours to come......... Oh, BTW - I use a standard controller to answer the question on a previous post.
  20. Sorry mate (JapanCarExport) - I was going to import an R32, but it fell through, and i feel uncomfortable going through that path again. I'm looking at private...Thanks PM sent lebostyles!
  21. LOL....it didn't take me overnight to get that time! Done that lap time over the holidays when i was bored.....Was going flat out with Tsukuba trying to get the setup right. I believe there were a few little areas which would've helped me improve that time, but it's so damn hard - so i gave up....I'm happy with it *correction - The time was 45.999 with R34 GT-R M-Spec Nur* *correction - Time was done on RACING/SOFT tyres all over, not qualifying tyres* *NO NOS* Time Ranking: I agree upon stock being boring....Fine tuning the car yourself to achieve the best time possible is far more rewarding than trying to get agood time with a stock car....More than just driving skills, but setup skills also. I also recorded the replay: R34 best lap time - Tsukuba (Right-Click -> Save-As)
  22. I believe it was a 45.990 i ran around Tsukuba with my R34 GT-R M-SpecII Nur with qualifying tyres.....don't know how well my setup is, but if felt good. My cousin done a 45.975 with the same model/tune, but his setup might have been slightly different - also on Qualifying tyres....Tsukuba is so much fun! NOTE: No NOS, used wings. Will get pictures up as soon as i find my copy of GT4!
  23. *BUMP* Anybody in VIC?
