Thanks Paul - That's what I figured. He first had an issue with the CAS pins which I think were swapped around, and the onboard immobilisers control isn't helping the cause as well but they're pretty sure of the problem. Hopefully another ECU can answer some questions. BTW Harsh here's the full pic (Think it was in the show n' shine thread?):

Hey guys. You're usually really good when it comes to friends in need, and I have a friend who needs a std R34 GTR ECU for his car as he's reverting it to stock after getting an EPA notice The std ECU he sourced is not working properly, the poor guy bought the car with everything known to be modified (2.8L Renik motor - Was a track car in Japan) and restored/stripped everything back and can't get it started. He and his mechanic narrowed it down to the ECU now - He's called a few workshops with no luck, so if anyone has one lying around happy to lend or wanting to sell let me know and I'll pass on the information to him. Hey guys - Just had a mate call me, he's had an EPA issued on his R34 GTR (which is extensively modified), he's sourced everything stock he needs bar an airbox. I've searched and there's nothing ATM, So I'm asking for a favor if anyone has an airbox in VIC that is willing to lend for a couple of days or one for sale please let me know - He's a good mate and I'd love to help and has his dreaded meeting in a couple of weeks. Out of interest is the R33 GT-R (97 model) air-box the same as the 34? If so I could swap mine over for him - If anyone can confirm would save on headaches as my car is a daily and don't have much time to trial. Cheers, Steve.

Awesome show n shine this year - Loved the location! Too bad more members didn't show to use the most of what we had, but what we had there on display was all quality! Hey guys I have R33 GT-R wheels up for sale that came off my car that I no longer need due to upgrade. They came with new Nexen N6000 tyres when I bought the car and have only traveled on them ~1000km and are about 3 months old now so there's at least 95% tread. Wheels are in great nick - All inclusive of centre caps. No buckles, few scratched here and there as expected with their age. Asking $1300 - NW Melb location. Keeping an eye on this thread - Looking forward to your build up as our cars are going to be really similar in the end I think Cars looking awesome though - I've custom made an exhaust shroud with some 3M carbon fiber vinyl which I thought came up ok. I prefer it this way as there's a whole lot less surface area to polish over + it looks so much more aggressive. Not to everyone's taste though. Even though it ads character it just looks a bit messy IMO without one and I'm a bit of a neat freak. Shouldn't have gotten white haha. Exhaust flamage FTW though - I've got my cat back and erhmm de-cat and theres some aggressive popping to be had. Not sure about flames though haha but man they run rich standard.

If you can't find an R34 GT-R that suits (Would be hard to go past Scott's one!), I will gladly help you with my series 3 R33 GT-R for your shoot if you like: Or maybe we could do one of each (32/33/34) for a triple shoot haha. Let me know I wont mind. Cheers Steve.

Thanks mate - Coming from you means a lot! Less is more with these cars for sure. We got a great spot for shots at the docks - There was some good spotlighting around and managed to get just the right amount of exposure. The second one is a bit OTT, but still looks ok haha.

Can't comment enough on your R33 Jack - Immaculate! You've set the bar and given me inspiration with mine. Here's a couple of recent shots of mine after 6 weeks of ownership after purchasing it completely STOCK: Nowhere near the effort of yours yet, but I'm getting there Keep em coming!
