  1. Thanks guys. You'd be right about that second pic Alan - I liked the effect, but this would be the more appropriate pic:
  2. Couple more from last night:
  3. Hahaha thanks mate. Was waiting to see if anyone would notice the mowing lol. Yeah that shroud was a little difficult for me to swallow at first, but it's grown on me and love it. Much better to look at it in person, plus it's better than looking at brown soot stains I suppose. Don't have to polish it every week now
  4. Bout time I get some pics up of my new ride. I didn't want to take any photos until I got some new shoes Hopefully get some good shots tonight somewhere more exotic than my driveway.
  5. Hey guys, putting this ad up for a mate. He has his HKS Boost controller that he doesn't need any more due to an upgrade in ECU which already has boost control features. This item is brand new, only ever used once for 1 power run for a tune. Other than that It's in perfect working order (Comes with what is pictured + all the wiring). This was purchased for $649 (Have all receipts - Bought from Chasers) Asking $500 O.N.O - Melb pickup only. Get in quick - If it doesn't sell any time soon for him I will snap this up! Also for sale is his std series II R33 spoiler in white - $150 firm. You can contact 'Bryce' on 0422278611 or you can PM me here and I will help you out. Cheers Steve.
  6. Sure is mate I know Tim will take great care of her and keep her looking awesome. My new car will be in the R33 pics thread soon - Purchased some HKS Coilovers I'm about to put in tomorrow and then I'll take some photos of the R. Will also be looking for some gunmetal 18x10 XD9's. If you see a set selling locally any time in the near future give us a yell
  7. How's that a fake GT-R? Do you see any GT-R badges on it? All that resembles this car to a GT-R is a nice fast lift of a genuine bar, and a got set of R33 GT-R hwels to fill out the guards. If you know what you're looking at and truly passionate you would appreciate a car like this. Gorgeous shots Tim - All the best with the car mate.
  8. Thanks again Ant! Can't wait to fit these! Free bump - Great guy to deal with. Good luck with the sale of your camber kit mate
  9. I was thinking just that when I had to squash the section of the hose going into the engine bay. I didn't have to by much and don't think it will significantly hamper airflow enough for a significant difference. The diameter hose you're using looks to be much bigger than mine. I haven't measured mine properly yet, but a hose slightly smaller than mine would suit best if you can get your hands on one I think. If it wasn't for that little protruding bracket looking piece of metal right under the hole inside the guard it would be a perfect fit! I'd say having a hose fitted is better than nothing at all - At least you're channeling it to the Airbox.
  10. Thanks guys Like i said I believe the easiest point of access would be removing the guard lining and you have all the access you need. Should've taken some photos during the operation - I was just too eager to get it done as I needed to use the car and didn't think! Good luck and post some pics of your results!
  11. Here are some photos to show you my setup. Pretty easy to so, just a pain in the ass to gain access to the areas - You'll have to remove the guard lining that runs underneath the front bar to the wheel arch. About half a dozen clips and a dozen screws. You could probably take off the front bar, but would be so much harder to properly align the pipe, let alone all the extra work in taking it off! Could've probably done it slightly neater, but the indication housing it too annoying to work around and trim bits off, so I settles on that. It's just a flexi-pipe you can buy at any automotive store. It does enough
  12. Funny you mention that! I just picked up my 97 GT-R last thursay which was dead stock. First thing on the list was to makes improvements on the intake with a K&N High-Flow panel filter, and make some fort of cold air feed to the std box. I had great results doing this with my RB20 R32 so I steered clear of any pod filters. I seen this plug on the end, and was interested to see where it could possibly channel air through as it's blocked off and completely useless. So I shined a light through and had a look through the hole next to the front passenger indicator to see if there was a passage for air to pass though. You can clearly see that there is enough room for some flexi-piping to be bent and lead into the side hole. I set this up on my car yesterday and came up great - Looks neat too. I managed to squeeze an ~75mm pipe from the indicator and squashed though that side hole and then into the side entrance of the airbox. From what I could tell it feels a lot more responsive and seems to spool up easier, including more induction/BOV noise. I'll take some photos when I get home later in the arvo up put them up here.
  13. SOLD! Thanks for your interest and kind words!
  14. Can't wait to get stuck into some -9's when the ball gets rolling on my new GT-R - Some great bit of information here, keep it coming!
  15. That's to everyone who's contributed here - It's much appreciated and glad that the car gets so much notice, it deserves it BTW Car is on hold for the next couple of weeks for an interested party to come have a look - I'll keep everyone updated. Cheers Steve.
  16. Mine is for sale Feel free to come around and have a look at what a Type-M is all about! R32 GTS-t Type-M
  17. Thanks mate - Don't anybody be afraid to throw around any offers! I am very negotiable and looking for a quick sale Thanks Trent - A lot of good memories will leave with this car. Thanks Russ One other thing to note with this car on the 'negative side' is that on cold starts you will need to blip the throttle once to get the revs up so it holds (really common with r32's and cold starts - Might have something to do with std ECU?), rear suspension is a little noisy and the climate control unit can also be stubborn at times but does work. Nothing major, car runs great and been like this for all the years I've owned it and couldn't be happier. Like I said don't be afraid to throw around any offers, you might be surprised as I'm looking for a quick sale.
  18. Hey everyone - It's time to sell my first pride and joy. I've finally upgraded to a new car after 4 glorious years with this beauty as a first owner personal import and have no use for two cars so now It's time to go So here it is: Make: Nissan Skyline Model: HCR32 GTS-t Type-M Year: November 92' Vin Code: HCR32 284519 (Nissan Fast screen shot added here) Color: KH2 Gunmetal Grey Kms: 142,000~ Registration: end of June 2010 - Reg will be paid so you will have all 12 months RWC: Yes Price: $12000 O.B.O - Make me an offer, looking for quick sale I have owned this rock solid car for almost 4 years now. I am the first Australian owner having imported in june 06 as there was nothing near as good condition locally - I bought it dead stock except for cat-back and coilovers, the rest was done here. This is also my daily driver, has not ever missed a beat - Regularly serviced at 5000km-10,000 intervals (I believe if you take good care of your car, it will take care of you and it has!). I've taken care of this car like a baby, whenever it came to modification decisions i always made a lot of research and stuck to smart and subtle/reliable modifications. Overall this car is in very good condition and with no accident history. Modifications & Service history: -Major service was done at approx 95,000km which included: w/pump, idler/tensioner bearings, heavy duty trust timing belt, cam + crank seals as well as new rocker cover gaskets. -Exedy Clutch Kit, Heavy Duty, Nissan Skyline R31/32/33 (NSK-7056HD) installed at 104,245km still very strong -GKtech split dump+front pipe & FMIC Kit -Standard airbox using highflow K&N Panel filter with cold air feed via custom hose fitting -3.5" cat-back (not sure on brand, came with car from japan - JASMA plated, nice subtle tone. Flows well) -Apexi N1 99 Spec adjustable height/damper coilover suspension -RB25 S1 turbo (purchased off mark_sudakov VGC no shaft play! Installed 24-8-08) -CEFF11E Remap (awesome tune with Turbo-Tech bleed valve boost controller set at 13psi making a healthy 186.8rwkw) -Bosch 040 in-tank fuel pump (installed just before major service) -Mines front strut brace -Recently put in brand new yellow jacket coilpacks so I can now run NGK BCPR7ES-11, 1.1mm plugs with no hassles - Idles and revs out really smooth. -Tinted Windows -GT-R Headlights also I believe as there is brackets on them for GT-R grille. -Project Mu slotted front rotors -GENUINE PLASTIC GT-R front bar, factory type-m side skirts and rear pods give it a gorgeous and aggressive look -R33 GT-R wheels 17x9 +30 (have seen better days, some gutter rash but that's how I bought them) -Professionally rolled guards Security: -Warlock Alarm System 1500A + Siren (3500A equivalent) installed by trusted SAU member - great bit of kit, installed extremely well, comes with two remotes and have made two sets of keys. Interior: Whole interior is standard and in immaculate condition (no tears or cigarette burns). Steering wheel like new, dash immaculate bar real small bubble in corner. Minor cons: - small kink in rear quarter someone tapped with door or trolley when parked at shopping center, haven't gotten around to get it popped out. It's pretty minor. - Paint is very good for age, you'll find some spots might be losing some clear but overall good for its age. That's all I can think of for the moment, this is very hard for me to do but I'm looking for a quick sale as I've just purchased another car awaiting delivery - Don't be afraid to throw any offers as I am negotiable. Remember this comes with 12 months registration and RWC will be supplied! Recently replaced tyres with some 225/45 Toyo Proxes T1R all round - Great tyres with heaps of tread. Don't miss out if you're after one of these cars, easily one of the best R32's going around at the moment and will serve you well! Has to be seen to be appreciated. I'm confident that the first to see her will take her! I will miss her dearly sad.gif You can contact me on 0406 948 342 or post/PM me on here for anything you need. I'm located in St.Albans - Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Cheers Steve. If you'd like any more photos or any other information send requests and I'll put them up ASAP.
